He truly takes his time to understand his patients and does fabulous work. The results are stunning, and I would recommend Dr. Hove and his staff to anyone. Since having two procedures done by Dr. Hove, I have since gotten fillers and Botox from the nurse practitioner at his office, Melani McGuire. Melani has a caring personality and is the only person I would trust with my Botox and filler. She takes the time to understand the patient's wants and expectations. I spent years setting up consultations to find a plastic surgeons office I trusted to work on my face, because I feel it's incredibly important to not rush into a decision as big as plastic surgery. I receive many compliments since having work done in Dr. Hove's office, and I believe when you look your best you feel your best. Thank you so much Dr. Hove and Melani for always helping me feel like my best self.

I recently had corrective plastic surgery done by Dr.Hove and I am very happy with the result. My…read morecase involved the cosmetic repair of my forehead above my right eye after cancer surgery. I asked my cancer surgeon for the name of the best possible plastic surgeon that he knew of and told him I was willing to travel anywhere to get the best result in my follow up cosmetic surgery. My cancer doctor gave me 2 names of top plastic surgeons but said the #1 best guy is Dr. Hove. I was more than willing to drive 1 1/2 hours to Paoli Pa. to see Dr. Hove. Once you walk through the front door of his office everything is first class. Starting with the waiting room and the receptionist, through to the nurse and doctor every one seemed very friendly and competent. I remained awake during my surgery and there was absolutely no pain either during or after surgery. Dr. Hove explained to me that he would hide my surgery scar. Within one week after surgery my scar was invisible, I could not believe how fast is healed. The doctor used incredibly tiny stitches that brought the skin together perfectly. While in his waiting room I looked through a large photo album on the coffee table which showed before and after pictures of some of his patients. Some of those results were amazing, Many of his older patients looked 10 to 15 years younger after having their facial wrinkles and sags tightened up. I highly recommend Dr. Hove to anyone who needs cosmetic plastic surgery.

Michael Block Changed My Mind About Nurse Practitioners…read more I'll be honest - I've always been skeptical of seeing nurse practitioners instead of physicians. I thought doctors were better trained and more thorough. Michael Block completely changed my perspective. I found Michael out of desperation during a holiday week. My primary care physician had dismissed a concerning lump I felt in my upper left neck/parotid region, telling me it was nothing. But I knew something was there. I took a same-day appointment at the Phoenixville location (a far drive for me) because I needed answers. He actually listened. Within minutes, Michael validated what I had been feeling. He agreed something was there and didn't dismiss me. He ordered an ultrasound, which confirmed a small benign fluid-filled cyst - nothing serious, but I wasn't crazy. That validation alone was worth the drive. But he didn't stop there. While awaiting the scan results, Michael ordered a comprehensive panel including: Autoimmune screening (ANA) Inflammatory markers (CRP, ESR) EBV and CMV antibody panels Bartonella testing (my cat recently scratched me) Full allergy panel He was thorough in a way I've rarely experienced with any provider. He solved a problem I'd been living with for years. Michael identified that I likely had TMJ and suspected my nighttime breathing issues weren't sleep apnea - they were allergy-related. The bloodwork confirmed it: I was highly reactive to dust mites (Class III - high). He prescribed nasal sprays to try while we waited for results, and they helped. But the real transformation came after I got those allergy results. I bought a HEPA vacuum, allergen-proof mattress cover, pillow covers, and duvet cover. I went into full sanitation mode in my bedroom. The results were life-changing. I had been waking up every morning with one or both nostrils completely clogged. Now? My airways are completely open - without even using the nasal sprays anymore. I'm sleeping better than I have in years. His bedside manner is exceptional. Michael takes as much time as you need. He doesn't rush you. He's genuinely interested in your well-being and overall health - not just checking boxes. He's passionate about what he does, and it shows. When my labs came back showing positive EBV markers that looked alarming on paper, he called me personally to explain that everything was fine - just evidence of a past infection like 90% of adults have. He even confirmed what I had researched independently: "No lymphoma." The bottom line: I had scheduled an appointment with an ENT before seeing Michael, thinking I needed a specialist. After my experience with him, I realized I had already found exactly the provider I needed. Michael Block is more thorough, more caring, and more attentive than most physicians I've encountered in my life. If you're hesitant about seeing a nurse practitioner - don't be. At least not this one. Michael Block has earned a patient for life. Also- I only waited 5-10 minutes to see him once I arrived and the office front staff were helpful and very friendly.

I can't think of a single negative thing about her. She's very personable and friendly. She knows what she's doing. Great with children and parents. She remembers where I go to school, what my aspirations are, what my family life is like, what my extra curricular activities are, etc. She remembers my health issues and the meds that I take. It really is impressive that she can talk about these things on the top of her head and not have to watch her struggle to catch up and read through my medical file. She asks a lot of questions and I feel completely comfortable telling her everything because she's not judgmental and she's definitely there to help. She makes herself available by phone in the mornings and you can make same day sick appointments. I've always been taken care of... no horror stories. And she knows a lot of specialists to refer you to if you have something really specific you need to be seen for. Also, other things might be that parking is very easy, the office is very clean and new, she has other doctors in the practice with her to take care of you if she's on a break, and her nurses and secretaries are very friendly. If I ever have kids, they're definitely coming here! I really love Dr. Michaelson
