As someone who hadn't lifted weights in decades, I was honestly nervous about starting again in my 50s. From day one, everything exceeded my expectations. Their commitment to proper form and technique creates a very safe place to train. Each session builds on the last, so you feel progress without feeling overwhelmed. The biggest compliment I can give is this: I genuinely look forward to my training sessions. A lot more than I ever expected. I'm getting stronger, my mobility is improving, and I feel better overall. I also love that they have multiple locations nearby and a ton of training days and times. They make it about as easy as it gets to stay consistent. And another bonus: dogs. On most days, one of the trainers has their dog there. Dogs rule, and any workout is better when you get to pet a pup between sets.

I initially only wanted to do the open gym membership, but after taking the 3-day coaching session I decided to move forward with the coaching sessions & open gym sessions and it was the best thing I could have done for myself. I have learned so much these past few months and feel much stronger!

Being able to be mindful of this is so valuable to me and I'm so grateful to Jaime for her knowledge and guidance in making this happen for me. I have less inflammation and bloating, I eat more home-cooked meals and vegetables, I drink more water, my gut feels good, I'm calmer and sleeping through the night, have more energy and I feel better in my clothes! Her dedication to teach women how to love theirs bodies and take care of them is inspirational. Caution to the wise (or lazy in this case) - Gia is not an easy trainer. She will push you during your workouts. I get nervous every time I have sessions schedule with her because I know I have to go beast mode lol. Gia is AMAZING! She helped with not only my physical journey to get back in shape but also my mental and emotional journey. She taught me to be patient and have grace with myself. Only a couple months after starting to train with Gia, I suffered a major knee injury (unrelated to training) which required major surgery. It was very depressing and frustrating. Gia worked with me from the early stages of recovery up to my full recovery. She pushed me but always had safe and effective modifications when needed. I looked forward to training with her and rather than dreading my workouts, she made them fun and was always so inspiring. I lost over 20lbs working with Gia! She is simply the best!

    This gym is pretty small, but it has all the equipment you would need for a full strongman class…read more They have group strength training classes Tuesday, Thursday, Friday nights and Sunday morning. The classes have a suggested workout (but you are free to flex it as needed), and the coaches (Shawn, Romark and Martins) are endless perfectionist when it comes to form. The community is super welcoming and everyone cheers people on and helps either with tips or just helping you move weights around. Shawn and Martins really helped me focus on the fundamentals of my squat and deadlift. I have a lot of bad habits to break, and they are constantly trying to help cue me to improve. Martins drops in when he can and obviously its super cool to get lifting advice from the guy who won world's strongest. You can see even see the trophy at the gym!

The equipment is fairly new as well as most of it being from the rogue brand. The community is pretty welcoming even though it's a very small establishment. The biggest complaints are how the business aspect is structured, workouts you pay for, and a staff member. The business aspect was weird like set appointments pay later but like I definitely could of booked the appointment, worked out, and walked out without paying. Now obviously I didn't do that but there are people like that in the world who would take advantage of a situation like that. Next The session you pay for... soooo it's $50-60 for a day pass, once we started working out it was minutes passed the start time, "time is money" and felt like I was cheated a bit, session's are usually an Hour and a half my session started at 5 we began like at 515 and we literally did 3 workouts so kind of a bummer left with no pump and confused on $50 for 3 workouts! Now for the last complaint the staff member. Our coach for that session was Shawn Couch. When working out there was no real demonstration. It was like hey "this is the work out now do it" type of deal. For instance if a person who is a first time lifter walks in doing these lifts with no knowledge or form practice they can seriously injure themselves, and when he did "demonstrate" he took a person of the class to demonstrate it but still comment on what they are doing wrong. It goes with saying if you want something done right you have to do it yourself but he definitely wasn't about that life. He seemed more frustrated about how we weren't lifting correctly than to show us how it's actually done or supposed to look. At the end of our session he demanded that we put everything back, but it was said in a manner of I'm better than you I'm not helping you and walked out. I'm definitely coming back again to see/feel the vibe from the other coaches. I feel that this gym has major potential! But has to rid of certain things for it to blow up. I witnessed a child that was finished with his session and waiting for his mother to pick him up. He was a quite restless. He played with equipment in an unsupervised area. When asked to wait at the lobby, he brought a heavy medicine ball to toss in the lobby. When asked to put it away, he played with merchandise in the front. Deviny kept her cool the entire time, speaking to him in a friendly manner, suggesting things for him to do in the lobby, while he complained how bored he was waiting for his ride. Note to parents: if you know your child can be a handful, please make it an effort to be there early, waiting for your child to finish. This is a business... a sports training facility, not a day care center! The busy staff does not have time to supervise on a 1on 1 basis.

Out of the blue, Velocity Sports decided to cancel their booking in favor of another event that came up after the birthday party was already scheduled. What kind of people do that?!? Needless to say, their greedy behavior has resulted in a very disappointed ten year old boy. Don't trust these people for your events!
