Kathy's Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

They injured me made me cry and made my toe bleed during a pedicure they cut me on purpose and speaking some Asian language complaining about me crying read more

Kathy's is the cleanest salon in the area, they treat their customers with respect and do a wonderful job every time I go there. They are busy so I make an appointment. I question the bad reviews from 3 years ago because Kathy's nail salon has not been open that long, she worked at another nearby salon before opening her own place. read more

Kathy's nails is the best! I've always been happy with my experience. Kathy and her sister are the sweetest people! 10/10 recommend

Bad experience will never go back, the water they made for my pedicure was very hot. She was trying to communicate with me but I could not here what she was saying. Did not finish! No ratings read more

Kathy's Nails - Kathy did an AMAZING job on my nails!!! - Nail Salons Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

By appointment only! No same day appoints available. Call their regular number and they give you a phone number to text. They respond very fast! Fast forward to my appointment day. They have a sign on the door that says appointments only. There is hand sanitizer and alcohol sprays everywhere. After every person gets up, they sanitize the equipment with wipes. Everyone is extremely friendly as usual! The salon stays clean! Everything was perfect, 10 out of 10! Highly recommend coming here! read more

I called the number that is provided on the salon (602) 276-5121 to booked an appointment, I was told I can do a walk-in , when I do a walk-in they tell me they never answer that phone that is by appointment only. I was turned away and I told it was okay but it look like they weren't interested in my service that was only a gel manicure. read more

Just another example on why not to go this place . Employee was using his own dirty finger nails to clean in between my toes and I asked him to stop and he continued. read more

I called to make an apt and I was told I could just walk in. I went after work and then I was told they were booked. I tried calling to make the apt but the message said to text a number which I did but nobody ever replied to me. read more

I went in asking for a soak off for my acrylic nails. They said not a problem and sat me down immediately. She starts clipping them off and then takes a sharp piece of plastic and starts scraping under the acrylic, if it wasn't easy to separate she would dig her nail into mine and try to separate the two. She asks me how often I get my nails done and I tell her pretty often I just took a break but I'm gonna start getting them done regularly again. She then says we'll people who get there nails done often know how to take off their nails and I respond with yea I know how but I just don't have the supplies or time right now and she looks at me and says again well yea but people who get their nails done often know how to take them off. I stop her and tell her it's ok I'll pay for this but we're done. She asks me why I won't let her finish and I proceed to tell her that's rude and she says no it's not. 0/10 . read more

Kathy has always been rude as hell. Prices are never consistent. I go in every few months to get my brows done & never my nails because they don't ever come out great. So I walk in, say eyebrows & she tells me 30 minutes. It's only been 30 minutes after they opened & there is 2 people in there!! Don't waste your time or money here. read more

I have been coming to Kathys Nails for almost a year and Kathy and Holly are very talented. The pricing is reasonable and if you make an appointment they are always on time. Love my nails read more

I love the designs and if you have an appointment you won't have to wait! Best pedicures in town. read more

Very unwelcoming. Do not accept walk ins although they market that they do. Poor customer service.

Walked in asked them to fix my nails I got done at a pervious salon ( I didn't like the work ) . I don't remember who fixed my toes and nails but I walked out happy !!! read more

The worst experience! Do not go here! I'm not one who gets pampered often since I don't get out much with little ones, so I figured it was time to take care of myself and treat me (and my sister who was visiting out of town) for pedis. Something that should have been nice and relaxing turned out to be not quite that. I even paid extra to get the calis remover done, BIG mistake they shredded our feet and sprayed alcohol on it. The paint was clumpy and UNeven. As soon as we left I noticed BLOOD ALL OVER MY FEET!!!! No stars for this place! (I only had to give this a star to even post this so disregard it) read more

First time here and my pedi was great and prices are reasonable. My tech took her time and I loved the massage! I will be back!

Kathy usually does her best to take great care of me and my nails. The other two techs I have spoken with when being helped by Kathy also seem very nice. Can get busy. I have had one or two unfortunate mishaps here from other techs filing too much and making my cuticles hurt. Overall though I can't complain. It's usually very quick in here once you are seated. I've since moved on to greener pastures where my nails don't hurt! read more

I'm here every month to get my gel nail polish. Total for gel is $25 and that includes removal of old gel and application of new ones. I always tip $10 so I spend $35 every trip, but not bad once a month. I gave it four stars because the nail techs sometimes talk to each other and I can never figure out if they're talking about me or not lol. Overall, they're nice and I will continue to see them for my nails. They also offer waxing on different parts of the body, but I haven't experienced that so next time maybe I'll try that service and update my review. read more

Not a good place to get your nails or toes done. The wait times are too long and they rush you. I was not impressed with the work they did. They also do not sterilize their tools properly. Everything is labeled "soiled" but they will use the same tools on the next customer without properly cleaning or sterilization and then put them back in the same used container and continue to use them. I am sure they are cleaned once a day but not after each customer. It's gross, unsanitary and overly priced for a half-assed job. I would not be surprised if they all shared the same license. The health department should check in. read more

I've been coming to this location for a little over 5 years and have never had a bad set or interaction with any of the nail techs here. I get acrylics, gel, pedicures and eyebrow wax and they never disappoint. Kathy and her sister are amazing, friendly and super good at what they do. I always recommend this salon to friends and family. read more

I first came to this location about a week ago. The minute I walked in I was approached by two women told them what I wanted and was taken to a booth immediately, to my surprise a man came and did my nails (didn't get his name) he was very laid back and kind of funny. Easter was the next day and I had some stuff to take care of on my phone, so I figured since I told him how I wanted the shape I was in good hands talked to him here and there, but when he put the gel on and had me put my hands in the UV lamp I noticed some of my nails were different lengths and the shapes on certain fingers were crooked, not rounded like I asked. He was already done so I couldn't say anything *shrugs* I can take the blame for not keeping an eye on him but he should've known better not to take advantage. Nice people and cool customers, but fat chance I'll be coming back. read more

If I only could I would rate this place ZERO star!! Worst customer service ever. I went to get my nails done pampering myself, hoping to feel better after a not soo good day, driving all the way from LA. Tried so hard to be extra nice but there's this Chinese guy who's extremely extremely rude idk must be the language barrier but I've been to Other Asian nail salon and most of them are really nice so nah No thanks never coming back... smile once in a while people spread good vibes nobody wants to deal with snooty attitude!! read more

I've been there about 4 times now. They are good, but not amazing. Inexpensive, but sometimes you have to wait a while to be seen. I should probably make an appointment instead of dropping in. read more

I stopped at this salon on my way home for a simple pedicure with callus removal. The lady that did my feet made me bleed! She put way too much of the callus removal on my entire foot instead of just my heel which they normally do. Needless to say after her putting a band aid on and saying sorry, she still charged me full price! I have 6 band aids on my feet today and I can barely walk because she took off too much skin. Be aware if you are going for a pedicure, I will never go here again! read more

Love love love this place they always do my nails to perfection.. came in with nails from another salon that messed them up and they took me in right away and fixed them to the way I love them .. gotten so many compliments already thank you Kathy nails read more

I'm surprised at the negative reviews. Kathy's is the best spot on this side of town...I have seen and heard horror stories at other places. Kathy's has always been great for me. My pedicure is still holding up 3 weeks later! Never a long wait time except Saturdays (duh). The only complaint is that they need to clearly display prices. That's not fair especially with the somewhat language barrier. read more

My favorite place. The ladies are nice, talented and welcoming. I've been going for years. Anytime I have guest in town I take them here for a girls pampering day bc I know we will get great service and leave with beautiful nails. Also a great place if you are looking for someone to wax your eyebrows properly. read more

This place sucked. The tech I had was so rude, she acted like she had a stick up her butt. The place was dirty as well. It seemed like they cared more about making their money than providing good quality service. I had a manicure done and all my nails were crooked. I told my tech about it if she could file it a little more and she gave me attitude. I'm never coming here again. Don't waste your money here. read more

Kathy &Sister are the Best great service very friendly Stars to kathy for her creative design

I went in August 4th, Kathy did my feet, Awesome! And Tammy did my gel nail polish, Awsome! Im going back today

I came in on a Tuesday afternoon and it was easy to get a spot for a pedicure. Got a great foot/leg message with the pedi and walked out with a simple polish for $18 not including tip. I had read the reviews here and didn't see any of the issues that some other folks had put up. It looked clean to me - and people who worked there were friendly. read more

I dont recommend this place to anyone. First and last time I go to this place. They did a horrible job on my nails! The women who did my nails was on her phone most of the time. 5 times to be exact. The manager was there too and didn't care. These people don't care about their customers! My nails looked funny I had to go somewhere else the next day to get them done all over again! read more
