Ashlyn got rid of my bleached, fried, blonde and turned me back to my beautiful brunette self. Color is perfect. Jill freshened up my bob cut in no time. Love it. Lily is so sweet. During my consultation she made sure my daughter had all the cookies she could eat. Everyone is so nice & chill here. A very fun but relaxed, professional vibe. Obviously I found my new salon. It's been a journey looking for the right place. So glad I came in.

I would not recommend Mathew Gary. I have 3 main complaints…read more First, the end result was abysmal. The hair cut I asked for was a really simple short bob. Yet he was not even able to cut the edge in a straight line. Please see attached photo. As you can see, it is very choppy and uneven. At the end, I had to point out that he missed cutting strands of hairs which had a 2 inch difference. Second, he was very rough. I've never had a hair cut that felt so uncomfortable! It felt like he was raking the comb through my hair. He pressed the back of the scissors blade against my neck roughly. Also, he would push my head around. A couple times he put his fingers on my face, not my scalp, to push my head around. Third, he did not secure the hair cut cape. It was very loose so the hair would fall down the back of my shirt. At the end of the hair cut he took off the cape and then reached down the back of my shirt to scoop hair out with his hand!! I felt very uncomfortable because of this action. By the way, I want to mention his gender does not matter here. I would equally feel uncomfortable if a woman put her hand down my shirt. It was only a couple inches but I really felt like this was not necessary at all! He then blow dried under my shirt. Why did he blow hair down my shirt?! I had to untuck my shirt out of my dress later to get rid of hair on my back. I paid 50 dollars for this hair cut and left a 5 dollar tip because of this horrible experience. I will not come back and get my hair fixed at a different salon. The only good thing I can say is that he was nice. But I didn't pay for that; I payed for a decent hair cut which I did not receive. I left feeling really miserable.

I also worked PT in a hair salon while in school - fantastic education about the skill involved. Let's just say that not all stylists are created equal. Yea i know just enough to be a pain in the butt ;) I decided it was time for a change. Loved my previous person however commuting just took its toll. Hate traffic Problem: I had a "skunk" line of grey growing and grew tired of having to color hair so often. Being a brunette, grey pops more however adding lighter highlights can be disastrous both in appearances and for hair health. After reading so many reviews and hemming and hawing - I sucked it up and called Masteneh. We went for highlights. It took some (a lot) work as we had to do a corrective all over color before the highlights and then a cut. She placed the highlights so now the grey is not so obvious as my hair grows. I just recently went in for a touch up. I LOVE my hair again. Masteneh is a kind and warm person who happens to be a master of color. I am so glad I found her
