My family and I wanted to select a photographer for our holiday photos this year. Seeing that this is our first time, it was important that we had a photographer who was easy to connect with so we would feel comfortable in front of the camera, especially since we had a newborn with us! Session - during this fall/holiday season, there were choices between the outdoor or the studio package. My family and I decided on the outdoors because we loved her style and the location she was using. The session itself was approximately 20-30 minutes long and we were taking photos. One thing I truly appreciated about Kathleen was her ability to make my newborn look into the camera. She has two kids of her own so it seemed natural and easy for her to be working with her. I never felt uncomfortable nor like my child was not posing correctly during the session. We got our photos two days later and were able to select the items we wanted from the gallery. During this whole process, the administrative personnel was very quick to respond and all of my questions were answered. During the session she was able to soothe my newborn son so he could start his photos. We had an amazing experience working with Kathleen. At first we were a bit surprised by the level of detailed instructions and rules provided to us beforehand by her assistant Adriana, but in the end we understood why. Kathleen and Adriana are extremely professional, and the studio is set up perfectly for newborn photo shoots. From the moment we arrived, following her instructions to keep our 13-day old baby girl in her car seat, Kathleen had everything planned out perfectly. She offered us beverages, and then showed us the different color scheme options we had for the photo shoot and let us choose. She then proceeded to take our baby girl out of her car seat ever so delicately, and wrapped her perfectly in a specifically designed swaddle that kept her assleep and posed perfectly for the photo shoot in the newborn room. The newborn room is setup with a perfectly slanted bed and various colored backgrounds, and all the props, basekts and setups you could want. She is truly the baby whisperer, and with the right level of music and whispering to her, she managed to keep her assleep the whole time while re-posing her and arranging each scene. She was so kind to show us her setup before she took each new set of pictures, and made sure we were happy with how our baby girl was dressed up. After she expertly completed various photo shoots with different backgrounds and set-ups, she took us to the back room studio where she shot the family shots. While standing, she posed us in various ways, both for family shots with the three of us, and then with individual shots of each of us with our baby girl. We couldn't have been more impressed with Kathleen during the photo shoot. After 5 days as promised she provided us with the full album of over 200 un-edited watermarked pictures to choose from. We chose the Classic package which included 20 pictures and we added one more which we paid for. Overall we couldn't be happier with our experience and can't wait until we get our final edited pictures. We will recommend Kathleen to all of our family and friends! Thank you! read more
