Dr. Jackson and her team are friendly and professional -- and they know their stuff. It's honestly the only time I've been to a dentist where my cleanings and check-ups never hurt, not even for a moment. For cons, I called and asked if they accepted new patients and gave my insurance information. When I showed up, the receptionist said she needed to call up the insurance to verify and hoped they were open on Saturday. When I asked why this wasn't checked when I made the appointment a few days earlier, she just assured me she was calling now. Luckily everything was okay, but I don't want to show up after waiting days to find out they can't accept my insurance. That's not something that should be done the day of. The cleaning was fine, but I've been to dentists that are more personable to make a not pleasant experience better. Both the hygienist and dentist worked without much talking. When the dentist said I needed fillings, I asked the cost, and he seemed annoyed to find out. Even if I need them, I don't think it's bad to ask before something is done. It was an okay cost so luckily I could get the filling at the same time. Some dentists give out free toothbrushes or floss. No big deal, but the office is small and dated and not much friendliness. It served its purpose, and I liked that I could get an appointment relatively quickly and on a Saturday. It was convenient but nothing above basic standards.

The dentist that took care of me was rough…read more Barely 10 seconds into the cleaning he asked if I wanted to go and see a new doctor when I flinched once and told me he wasn't going to do the cleaning if I was going to keep moving. He then processed to rush the cleaning while using the drill. I should have thought more clearly and gotten up then but I had really needed a cleaning that day. He used a drill the whole time, nothing else. When he was done he got up from his seat and left. No words. My mouth was left bloody and swore and I was told to leave. I wasn't until after I got home I realized he chipped my tooth; the edge of my front bottom tooth was left feeling sharper than before and part of my tooth where I had gotten and filling in years before from a different dentist is missing. I felt mad and upset that I let this dentist touch my teeth and I cried myself to sleep that night. I would advise not to go to that dentist. He did not provide me with the care that is necessary for that job.
