You simply will not find a practice that is better than this one. Dr. Ferguson uses advanced technology to great advantage: he gets brilliant results, whether you're getting a tooth capped, a cavity filled, a cleaning, cosmetic work, etc. When I was a new patient six years ago, I was shocked that I could get a tooth capped in one visit, a cap that fit perfectly first time around and never gave me a moment's discomfort. Speaking of discomfort, if you get nervous, as so many people do, when going to a dental appointment because you're anticipating discomfort and/or pain, you can forget all about that. Dr. Ferguson and his team are masters at keeping their patients pain-free (even the shots are no big deal). I recently had cosmetic work done, which involved six teeth being capped. For years, I had been smiling with my mouth closed or putting my hand to my mouth. I hardly have words for the incredible work Dr. Ferguson did. It has absolutely changed my life. It's really a joy to smile now. My teeth look totally natural and some "gumminess" that bothered me is significantly reduced (I'm not sure how Dr. Ferguson achieved this). The work was finished in two visits. When I went home, after the second visit, my husband said, "Wow, your smile looks beautiful!" In addition to the exemplary dental work at Ferguson Dental Associates, I promise you that you won't find better staff anywhere. The dental assistants are superb; they do not make mistakes. And you won't find more highly-skilled hygienists who honestly will not let you out of the chair, until they're satisfied they've done a perfect job. The staff at the desk are super-competent and super-nice, a pleasure to interact with. In fact, everyone in the practice couldn't be nicer. I was made to feel welcome and comfortable from my first visit. I should add, my husband is also a patient and he feels exactly the same way as I do. Unfortunately, my primary dentist was out of town and although he prescribed antibiotics, the infection was making me feel sick and the pain was ridiculous. One call from my wife and Dr. Ferguson got me in at 7 PM on the Thursday before a holiday weekend. 15 minutes after I got there he had performed a procedure on the tooth and removed the infection (and the pain). He then gave me a way to contact him over the weekend in case the condition recurred. This was all after never having met me before. Dr Ferguson is not just a great dentist, he's a great person. I can't imagine what I'd have done without him.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr Leitman for about 5 or 6 years now. We've just moved out…read moreof state, but I thought I should leave a review for Dr Mason and Dr Leitman's office. The office staff and dental hygienists are all super friendly and efficient. Scheduling is easy, they send reminders in advance, and they are always on time with appointments. We went for regular cleanings, usually I had Roseanne and my husband had Monica. Roseanne is very gentle during the cleanings, and Monica is more vigorous (my husband prefers that, because he says it makes his teeth feel very clean). Dr Leitman is great as well. I had to get a filling done only once (he respected my decision to opt out of the novocaine shot, since it was a very small cavity, and it he was extra careful to not cause me pain) and also had to get an emergency root canal last year. For the root canal, they were able to get me in very quickly to clean out the infected area and provide me with relief from the toothache. I asked that Dr Leitman perform the root canal on-site, as I wanted to get it done with ASAP. After about ten minutes, he told me that he wanted to refer me to an endodontist to complete the root canal, since the angle of my roots was such that he would have a hard time completing it himself. I really appreciated his honesty in this case. After I had the root canal performed at the endodontist, Dr Leitman fitted me for my crown and "installed" it without any issues. My husband used to hate going to the dentist, but we're both very sad to have to find new dentists now that we've moved away from NJ. We highly recommend Dr Mason and Dr Leitman's practice. During our time there as patients, they accepted our dental insurance with Cigna and Aetna, and always submitted the insurance paperwork promptly and accurately.

Complicated case? No problem…read more Dr. Gold and Dr. Rubino have become part of "Team Teeth". I have a complicated case in which 3 dental professional offices need to coordinate. I had an injury to my front top tooth more than 30 years ago which has caused damage to the root and subsequently bone loss. Losing at least one tooth was inevitable, therefore an implant is required. My bottom teeth were very crowded, making flossing difficult, resulting in some periodontal disease. Before I could get an implant, I needed to have the bone filled-in. In 2 years the excellent professionals at Montclair Orthodontics have straightened my teeth and facilitated the bone growth necessary for the implant. Now I can floss easily to maintain healthy gums and the rest of the team can take over. By working so well with my primary dentist and periodontist, the burden of coordinating all the necessary steps was taken off my shoulders. THANK YOU! This has been a daunting process!!! Doctors Rubino and Gold proactively shared via phone and email my progress and coordinated next steps with Dentist and Periodontist to insure the best possible outcome for my oral health. There is still more to be done, but Dr. Rubino sent me off with 2 retainers. One for the mouth I have today and one for after my teeth have been extracted to keep all the other teeth where they belong. She even painted it to look like teeth! I'll need a new retainer once the implant process in complete.
