They missed the first appointment with no heads-up, told us that they could not make it ONLY after we called. They diagnosed "belt and engine" issues and collected $195, but the machine is still broken and won't spin at the end (clothes are soaking wet every time). During the third visit, the technician tried to blame the failure on "overloading" a load that literally consisted of 2 shower towels and 3 regular towels. Instead of owning up to their failed repair, the technician got aggressive, acted totally bossy, and told me directly that "you are not normal." and ask if I were the technician or he is Taking $195 for a broken machine is bad enough, but insulting customers is crossing the line. The guy came out for $180, tried replacing the one part that he could reach without having to bend…read moreover, then declared that "there was a short somewhere" that would be impossible to find. "But," he offered, "you can use the $180 toward the purchase of a new model." Instead of doing that, I watched a single youtube video about fridge repair, then bent down to look for the part of the fridge that was making the obviously broken-sounding high pitched whine, then googled its part number and bought a new one for $45. That fixed it, instantly. I didn't even need a screw driver. So their business model, it seems, is to half-ass the repair in order to lock you in, and then they sell you a new one for much more money than you'd pay elsewhere. Wouldn't be surprised if they then refurbish your old one and sell it on the side.
