Love this place! As soon as you walk in, the glorious smells hit you like a warm friendly hug. Then…read morecomes the joy of browsing the fab range of stalls to see what tickles your fancy (most likely everything!). The first thing that caught our eye was the coconut cocktail bar with its neon frontage and classic cocktail umbrellas (mine is still tucked in my pony tail!). We clocked our choice of drink and decided to return once we'd chosen our food. A lot of burgers in sight but with various twists. Everything else from choccy bakes, ice cream, Nachos, Naans, ribs and steamed buns is on offer too. I love a bit of Japanese food so went with the buns. The name Yum Bun does exactly what it says! Light and full of tasty flavours. Spot on. We found a spot on a table in the corner and munched on our foodie delights and slurped our delectable frozen Tequila Colada. What I also loved is that unlike some more central street food spots, there was no sense of pretension or try-hard hipsterness. The place had a very cool vibe and everyone seemed very polite and chilled (families and little ones seemed comfortable moving through the crowds). Great music to match the mood and fill you with a sense of urban summer days. Definitely keen to go back!

Hot Box - their beef short rib literally fell of the bone & melted in your mouth Bill or Beak - their chicken wings were crispy & crunchy skin and juicy & tender meat Up in my grill - their bavette steak was a little overdone but the chimchurri was delicious Club Mexicana - side of nachos bought for kids but eaten by the adults as it was so fresh & tasty SE Cakery - lewisham mess for dessert was a big hit. Oreo brownie, peanut brownie, meringue, pretzels & cream. Feast indeed! You doughnut - what is not to love about doughnuts & ice cream with chocolate sauce & sprinkles.

We booked a table for 4 at 11am, then changed the time to 11.30am and then turned up with 5…read morepeople... but the delightful people here were so accommodating and even found us a great table in the conservatory. We were here for the breakfast and three of us ordered off the menu, and two of us just had to be fussy and order various items individually. They catered to every wish! The coffee was fantastic and they even had skimmed milk (YEY!) I had the English breakfast with poached eggs, and apart from some hollandaise sauce that appeared on my eggs (I don't like hollandaise sauce!) it was all very yummy. The mushrooms were cooked with rosemary and the cumberland sausage was delicious. I was not keen on the bacon, but that's probably because it was smoked and I'm not a fan of food tasting like sweet smoke. My fellow breakfastarians between them tried the Eggs Special Royal (to celebrate our new princess!) which was apparently delicious, but came with cold avocado under the egg, which made the temperature of the whole dish a little odd. There were no other complaints though and we all agreed to go back very soon. Lovely place!

I had one of the best meal experiences in London here. To start, very friendly staff directed me to…read morethe lovely enclosed garden in the back. I asked to wait 15 minutes for the regular menu to start and the staff happily let me sit, reading a book and offering a jug of water. At noon, I ordered a small asparagus and goat cheese tartine. Man, what a DELICIOUS dish. Tons of rich goat cheese smeared on a large slice of grain bread. Shaved parm chunks with diced green peppers as well. I got the dish sans egg. A small green salad with a light dressing accompanies it. Overall a salty, rich plate of goodness for 4.50 quid. The waitresses were constantly in the garden so it was always easy to get their attention for drink top-ups and such. They all had smiles on their faces and were quite kind. This pleasant attitude is so rare in London, I had to tip well! Well done Gantry!
