Clean eats. Really enjoyed the breakfast here. Their beef tacos were really good along with the egg tacos. I usually mix them together! Plenty of seating inside and parking outside. Usually other places Mexican food is either too greasy or too dry. This was perfect! Service was great as well! The guy at the cashier was waiting tables as well. Place was pretty emptyish when we went.

I cannot believe how unprofessional this restaurant is. i picked up food back on nov 14th. i live far away and i didnt find anything i bought to taste good. yes, it was fresh but it was bland af. i left an original review and they responded as u can see in the photos. they left me a voicemail with the managers personal number after i called and gave my name and number explaining the issue and how they said on google i could call for a refund or to make things right. i first txted her on the 15th and she said she would reach out to me a week ago but never did. i was left on read multiple times and told multiple times id be given a refund. i finally reached out to my bank yesterday instead. i recieved this weird reply back today like its from uber eats or something, not from someones personal number. i have 0 idea wtf theyre talking about. me having issues with other establishments has absolutely nothing to do with me having an issue at this one. nor is me as a customer having problems with restaurants food MY fault. not even worth all this to wait weeks from my bank to get $24. and i had been a customer here multiple times. i dont understand and i would NEVER come back wtf. they said "good luck". ive literally never had a place act this way

It's a small mom and pop shop in Rosenberg. Definitely different than other places I've been to. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by friendly staff. The only problem is there were so many bugs in the restaurant. They were crawling in the bathroom as well as the front of the restaurant. It made it hard to enjoy the experience.

It's a small place with nice kind staff. The food is homemade and prepared with care. You would think the portions are small but they are a good size and fill you up. The smell of the food being cooked is amazing. I recommend this place especially for those that miss that ol school mexican food your grandma or your mom would make back in the day.

This is a taqueria type Mexican restaurant- casual. Order food at the bar. Food was good but not awesome. We got the tacos Al carbon and a kids plate of soft tacos. The chicken comes out in my daughters words "looking like cooked strawberries". Heavily seasoned so that it's red colored. My daughter wouldn't touch the meat and usually is not a picky eater. They have a 4% up charge if you pay with a card and not cash. They won't give you water. You have to pay for a bottled water or different drink. Staff seem very friendly but may not speak English well- they didn't say more than 2 sentences to us the whole hour we were there and we were the only dine in customers. Quite a few take out customers in and out the door. It was good but with so many options around here, we probably won't be back.

If you are looking for your "Amas' or Tia's" home cocked meal.. THIS IS YOUR SPOT. Two little ladies cook it all fresh and so well. I got a torta with no beans and it was just what I imagined. Bf got carne guisada and that meat was so tender and well seasoned! Also- the pupusas are delicious! Honestly,we've been looking for a good authentic Hispanic place and we finally found it!

Karlito's is a awesome restaurant for your Mexican food fix and shouldn't be passed up. It's basically on the corner of Ave I and Mahlmann in the strip center. I've driven passed Karlito's 20 times in the past two weeks never noticing. That's because the sign is very faint and part of an unassuming strip center. I just happened to look over while waiting to turn onto Mahlmann and saw the sign. As you enter the order counter is directly ahead. 2 and 4-top tables are available for dine in. Place your order, pay, grab a table and they deliver to you. The servers were friendly, helpful and the restaurant was clean. The menu isn't overwhelming but offers all the regulars we all enjoy. Several types of tortas, tacos, quesadillas, nachos plus more along with several weekend specials (check out the menu). I never order quesadillas but one was coming off the grill and I was about to order. It looked wonderful so I ordered along with an order of delicious charro beans. The quesadilla was cut into thirds, filled with tender chicken and oozing with cheese. The charro beans were flavorful just wish there was more of them. Don't skip the green and red sauces which have a bit of heat and so good! I hope to get back soon to try another quesadilla and a few of the tacos. Worth a trip!

Tried this place out because of the ratings but was disappointed. It was over $20 for 5 mini tacos, two drinks and some sort of sweet bread. They server did not even remember our order and had to correct it. The fajita and pastor tacos were okay but not great, the sweet bread was stale, the red sauce was not good, and the green salsa was probably the best thing they had. I will certainly not be coming back.

Excellent spot for great Mexican food! I ordered the Pastor Gorditas and they were fabulous. The were made fresh to order and were so tasty! Great service in a very clean and inviting restaurant. Definitely worth the visit. Plenty of parking.

Hole in the wall spot for your mexican cravings! We wanted a gordita and we decided to look up for restaurants around Rosenberg. We weren't disappointed in the food. It was delicious! Small little Mexican food place in old Rosenberg. The menu is limited and the prices are a little high, however, it's great food and great customer service! Authentic Mexican and not tex mex. if you're not a picky eater (I'm not) then let them recommend what you should try your first time there. You won't be disappointed. Nice owners, awesome selection of the trio hot sauces, great food over the weekend, had the trompo mini tacos that comes with soup. The beef tacos had great flavors as expected and the soup was awesome... wish there was more in that cup. I'd definitely come back and try the pastor tacos. Love this place the food is delicious ,authentic and amazingly priced. Best fajitas I've ever had, I drive all the way from Katy just to have them. It's a small hole in the wall but its very very good. I must have them at least twice a week. they close early so get in there before 3 pm the beginning of the week but weekend they they are open all day. read more

First time here trying this new place. Carnitas taco are excellent! My 11 year old son who is picky about his fajita really enjoyed his mini tacos. I had one of their specialties which is torta ahogada Guadalajara style which was very good. Their salsas were also very tasty. Also tried a courtesy sample of Birria de res (beef) very good! Service was excellent, everyone very attentive. We will definitely be back. read more

Normally I would call this 4.5 star but around here if Burger King gets 4 star then this is 5 and then a heck of a lot more. People are too nice around this area, making a place like this not stand out as much as it should it blows most places out of the water. The chicken is great and the pastor is too. Was a frequent, pre-pandemic, visitor here and always found the food much superior to most restaurants focusing on tacos. My first post covid visit was this week. My plate of street tacos al pastor was again both exceptional and comforting. I was also caught off guard by the expanded menu and excited by prospects of exploring the menu. I started that process the next two days in a row. First, I was served the single best carne asada I have ever eaten. The following evening, in need of simple comfort food, I ordered the pork chops, with ranchero sauce, plate. The best pork chops I have ever had, no. However, like a big plate of chicken and dumplings or a bowl of red beans and rice, it was full on comfort food and I left completely satisfied. I look forward to further menu exploration with high expectations. I certainly recommend those dishes described above. read more

My husband and I decided to try a new place and we tried Karlito's Grill. The owner is a very nice guy who is passionate to serve people. It did take about 20 minutes for the food to come out but everything was made fresh and the exact way we wanted it. The place is small but it is very welcoming and the food was delicious. Went to check it out after looking for street tacos...let me just say ...it was sooo GOOD!!! I got the steak street tacos and the steak torta for my friend. The corn tortillas were so soft and homemade, the salsa was spicy and devious and the steak was so flavorful and so tender. The reason I didn't give a five star rating was because there were a few items that were on the menu but they were just starting to cook when I got there and it was a little hot and muggy inside and it was a little pricey . Buttttt the staff and owner were very friendly and the service was amazing and the food was definitely so good. read more

Food is ok but small location and portions aren't filling. Menu was basic and served with no rice and beans. One waiter and 2 cooks and a place of 30+ people. No bueno!
