I was originally planning to do my own wedding florals but quickly realized how much that would require! I have a love of florals and I really wanted to work with someone who understood my vision. Karla was that person! She was enthusiastic and created the most gorgeous proposal based off of our initial email interactions and some inspiration photos I sent her. I had a warm earth tone color palette that needed to pull together green suits and 4 different color bridesmaid dresses. Karla was very open to including all of the details I wanted and everything came out PERFECT! She was so easy to work with, responsive, and just an overall very genuine and extremely nice individual. We spoke a couple times on the phone, communicated via email throughout the process, and met in person to finalize the proposal. It was an absolute dream working with Karla! From the very beginning, I fell in love with her style--both her vision for our floral designs and her responsive communication style. Going into this wedding, I had a fairly limited knowledge of flowers and felt stressed about finding a wedding florist. However, Karla has this wonderful way of making you feel completely heard and also feel like she's completely got everything under control. After sharing a few Pinterest images with Karla, she put together a proposal for me incorporating some of my images, as well as inspiration images of her own, and detailing her prices, which were some of the most affordable I'd come across in my research! Over the next few months, we corresponded through email to flesh out our shared vision. She always replied in a timely and professional manner and as I suggested new ideas or shared new images that I'd come across, she expertly incorporated each idea into our proposal. In total, we spent $1360 on the following services: + bridal bouquet + bridesmaid bouquets (x5) + groom/parents boutonnieres (x5) + simple groomsmen boutonnieres (x5) + chuppah + centerpieces (x7; we re-purposed the bridesmaid bouquets for the remaining tables) + cocktail table succulent arrangements in geometric glass terrariums (x5; these were the only things we didn't get to keep at the end) + a tall vase with foliage branches (for the welcome table) Karla truly made this part of our wedding planning so easy and the wedding day went without a hitch--everything was absolutely gorgeous! We would 110% recommend her to anyone and if I had to do it all again, I would without doubt still choose to work with Karla! (A logistical note: I don't think Karla has a physical office/store--I remember hearing that she works from home and that's part of how she is able to keep her costs so affordable!) (P.S. There is something extremely special about Karla. When researching florists for our wedding there was something very different about her, I felt it from our very first interaction. Karla took the time to really put a quote together and talk with me about our wedding and what we were looking for. Other florist gave quick quotes or directed me to their websites. However, Karla took the time to really connect with me. She has a very warm personality and I had a great vibe from her right away. It made me excited to book with her! My husband and I met with her prior to the wedding to go over our vision, he was happy with her when we left our meeting as well. The day of our wedding was a complete horror show, it poured buckets, we were an hour late at the salon and didn't get to take getting ready pictures, and the dj didn't show up to the venue. BUT... I can tell you, when I saw the flowers my heart fluttered. In the middle of the chaos those beautiful flowers made me smile. She knocked it out of the park! Karla absolutely exceeded our expectations. We are so extremely happy with her work and we are so glad we booked with her. She cares about you, your wedding and your vision. Karla's flowers were like the icing on my daughter's wedding cake. Our beautiful oceanside venue was decorated perfectly ~ exactly as we envisioned. Table decor included candles, garlands of eucalyptus and roses. The bouquets were just the right size, provided a pop of color and lasted for days after the event. Karla was a delight to work with, understanding exactly what we wanted and bringing that vision to life. She kept us on task and helped us to keep costs down by being creative with our use and placement of arrangements. We felt completely confident that Karla could work independently and professionally. Such a relief not to have to worry about a vendor following through. Plus she introduced us to Atomic Cafe in Beverly. Also a treat! And...about that wedding cake...she decorated it, too! This review is long over due! I don't even know where to begin. Karla turned our November wedding into the wedding of our dreams! I seriously can not thank her enough. She is the sweetest person ever and dealt with me changing my mind a million times! I don't know what I would of done without her. She has such an eye for detail! I told Karla how much I loved peonies and she went and surprised me with some in my bouquet even though they were out of season!
