Linda was super…read moreresponsive and helpful in selecting a birthday floral arrangement, candle, card, soap, lotion and herbal tea. The arrangement was fresh and impressive and delivered when estimated. I hesitated in ordering an arrangement in a vase vs a bouquet because I knew the recipient had many but the vase used was unique. Highly recommend!

I requested a special arrangement for same day delivery for an anniversary. The recipient is an…read moreexperienced flower arranger, so I asked for material that was as unusual as possible, and would last a long time. It was gently explained to me that with only same day notice it would not be possible to order truly unusual material, but that they would try to do their best. I gave them a decent budget ($100+ tax and delivery) and said that I understood the limitations. I said I was confident it would be appreciated in any case. And, if it turned out to be better than that, more business would likely follow (as another anniversary was coming a month later). WOW. A home run. Not only did the recipient immediately send me texts of appreciation and surprise, she had to struggle to identify three of the flowers, which almost never happens. The main arrangement lasted a week. The recipient then subdivided the arrangement to serve as a gift for another friend, while keeping some for themself. Some of it was still lovely almost two weeks later.

First I waited months for an…read moreestimate (no big deal because I had plenty of time) and then when I got the estimate I questioned one of the prices to see if we could do something different and I never heard back. Here is the thing...In my email I explicitly said "what can you do for "x" amount of money?" I then went on to say "if there is nothing you can do that is fine and I understand". I worked in the design industry for years and my pet peeve was people who wanted the world but didn't want to pay for it. I wasn't asking for that, I was asking for options. To never even respond is completely unprofessional. So, in the final hours I found a different place and only ordered what I knew I couldn't DIY - a corsage and two bouttoniares. This new place treated me like I had just given them a million dollar contract. They wanted me to be perfectly satisfied and they told me so. I felt so "seen" and respected. They asked if I was going to have a bouquet and I said I was but that I was going to attempt to make it myself. Thinking they'd be horrified and I'd never hear from them, like Singing Flower, they said "Oh, you can totally make your own! Especially the kind you are describing." Well, I went ahead and did just that and what I made with my friend was STUNNING and affordable. I will be forever grateful to this other flower shop and I will sing their praises. True professionals in every sense. What Singing Flower doesn't realize is that the company I work for requires the use of floral services and they spend tens of thousands a year. I don't have a lot of money to spend on flowers, but they do, and now I can recommend this other floral shop for their needs. You should treat everyone equally regardless of budget because it is the right thing to do AND you never know who THEY know.

Her work is beautiful and unique, and unlike that of any other florist I've worked with in years. She went far above and beyond our expectations, delivering some of the most gorgeous floral arrangements I have ever seen. She listened to my ideas with an open mind and then presented highly creative concepts that helped evoke the look and atmosphere I envisioned. She is great at communicating efficiently and warmly with a stressed bride, and is truly supportive; she went out of her way to help me with tasks that were not her responsibility, helping me choose the best table linens to coordinate with the table centerpieces, providing floral accents for our menu folds...the list goes on. Darcy is imaginative with her flower choices, suggesting seasonal flowers and plants that the average bear may not know to ask for. The groom and groomsmen's boutonnieres were unusual, too; Darcy cleverly used succulents to create a look that was graceful and more masculine than our bouquets. She also built a gorgeous bower out of weeping beech branches, constructing it in the garden where we had our ceremony. It was the perfect natural backdrop. I can't recommend Darcy highly enough -- she is seriously a bride's dream!
