Lol my order came in an old used Martins potato roll bag. Love it.

Finding a good hot dog/sausage is much harder than you would think. This place is a good solution for that. It's a little stand outside of a butcher shop. There is a line basically all of the time. Is it earth shattering? No. But if you want a brat and want it grilled up nicely, this is your place. Kielbasa is $10. It's huge, pretty good but skip it for something else like the brat. The brat is $4. Worth it.

Earlier today, I was in the Westwood area at a Dr's. appointment just minutes from Hillsdale, so I had to stop by Karl Ehmer's Prime Meats for one of my favorite sándwiches... German Kielbasa on a roll with sauerkraut and mustard!!!! That sandwich never ever disappoints and is just soooo delicious!

Random but also best hot dog cart/stand anywhere.

Ugh, I forking LOVE this place! Come early so you can get whatever you want otherwise they do run out of stuff. We love the German dogs, cheddar brats, polish and German kielbasa and wagu dogs but that's because I haven't tried them all yet. The all beef is awesome too, not salty. The mustard has a bit of a bite so if spicy isn't your thing, maybe pass on the mustard but otherwise it's a good sting! Everyone here treats you like family. Idk who Karl Ehmer is but I'm obsessed!

This place has the best fresh hotdogs. The lady that works there is sweet and it's just a great place to pick up a bite for the road.

This past weekend, we had a chance to experience something a little different -- a private event my cousin hosted there for his 30th birthday -- and it was fantastic. The event was a seated, sit-down dinner at the market, which isn't something they typically do, but they executed it really well. The evening started with passed appetizers (all delicious, as expected) and a table full of charcuterie. For dinner, my cousin opted for a seated "steak sampling" experience -- almost Brazilian steakhouse-style -- featuring tastings of five different cuts. There was also shrimp scampi served family-style, along with sides like roasted potatoes. Even with varying preferences for steak doneness across the group, they did an impressive job accommodating everyone. Huge props to the B&M team for pulling off something outside their usual offerings so seamlessly. This was my first time in the market itself, and it looked great -- clearly a great destination for quality meats and prepared foods. If I lived closer, I'd absolutely be a regular and would use them for catering for myself. Looking forward to more events with their food in the future!

Exceptional Catering for Our Dinner!…read more I recently used B&M Market in Park Ridge to cater a Dinner for 10, and I can confidently say they overdelivered on every level. From the ordering process to the presentation to the flavors, everything was absolutely top-notch. I also have to give a huge shoutout to the owner, Jon, who was phenomenal to work with from start to finish. Jon took the time to help me build out the perfect menu, offered thoughtful suggestions, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. His responsiveness and attention to detail really set B&M apart, you can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and takes pride in the food his team puts out. We kicked off the night with a fantastic spread of hors d'oeuvres. The sushi platter was fresh and beautifully presented, and the homemade guacamole with warm, crispy tortilla chips was a standout. The apple smoked bacon in honey chipotle sauce disappeared almost instantly; smoky, sweet, and addictive. The spinach & artichoke puffs were flaky and flavorful, and the bacon-wrapped shrimp tasted like something you'd get at a high-end restaurant. For entrees, everything arrived well-seasoned, and perfectly portioned along with serving/heating instructions. The Bell & Evans chicken parmesan in vodka sauce was a crowd favorite, tender, not overly breaded, and the sauce was rich without being heavy. The prime all-natural skirt steak with scallion sauce was the star. Cooked beautifully and packed with flavor. The pasta dishes, 4-cheese baked ziti and the orecchiette with Italian sausage, spinach, and light red sauce, were both excellent and tasted homemade. The Caesar salad, steamed string beans, and cheesy garlic bread rounded out the meal perfectly. Dessert was a refreshing fresh fruit salad, which was a great balance after the hearty main courses. What impressed me most was the consistency. Every single item was fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Combined with Jon's personal involvement and guidance, the experience was exceptional from beginning to end. If you're hosting an event of any size, B&M Market should be at the top of your list. They helped make our dinner a hit, and I'll absolutely be using them again.

There's only one register open at all times so sometimes a line goes all the way to the back of the store for checkout. There's a total of 3 workers there. One stocks shelves, one on the register and what looks like a manager who walks around the store thinking it looks good. There's freezers and fridges leaking water into the aisles. The only good thing I saw was that they had a wet floor sign up. I can't speak on the meat section because I wouldn't even think to buy meats from here. There's piles of dirt and garbage with brooms blocking some aisles. Overall I'm not sure how the health dept hasn't seen any red flags out of this place. It's a shame because it's located in a nice area.

Terrific square footage. Price per acre of a Midwest farm, with some of the charm. Everything was delicious! We sampled a small portion of the spaghetti and meatballs. The sauce/gravy was amazing and something I'd go back to purchase. All the sandwiches are made fresh so it will take a few minutes, but worth the wait. We will definitely return!
