Westwood Prime Meats 190 Westwood Ave…read more Westwood, NJ 07675 Brewery burger The interior is set up in two sections; a deli for placing to-go orders and a sit down restaurant. There are multiple seats in the dining area. There is a unique procedure when ordering the burger. A customer may select one of three blends: steak blend, SSB (short rib, sirloin, & brisket), and dry aged. I selected steak blend, which was 80% beef and 20% fat. At first, I was filled with concern as I observed the specialty burger. The burger itself looked like it was sliding apart. The bun did not have any physical resemblance to a pretzel as it looked like an ordinary bun. As always, never judge a book by its cover. I took a single bite and my taste buds were in paradise. The burger was cooked medium and topped with butcher cut bacon and IPA beer cheese sauce. The thick slab of bacon strips were chewy and they melted right in my mouth. The beer cheese was so mouthwatering that I requested an additional cup. The pretzel bun may look like a regular hamburger bun, it has the texture and taste of a pretzel; it is even sprinkled with a dash of rock salt. As a bonus, a full size pitcher of water and crispy fries with a smokehouse dipping sauce are all included with the burger. Both the burger and fries can be dipping in both the smokehouse sauce and cheese sauce. These sauces are the backbone to the burger and you won't even consider supplementing anything else. Although the initial appearance didn't catch my eye, they had me by taste and that is what matters in the end! #westwoodprimemeats #breweryburger #westwoodnj

Solid amount of parking available of this very cool, "old school" butcher shop. In this instance, "old school" means an absolute full service butcher shop, where they treat the customers well! It felt like a family affair, the nice young man that took my order gave helpful advice. They cut "country pork chops" to order, they cooked very nicely in a sauce. I also picked up their sweet pork sausage, also great in the sauce. Perhaps the highlight for me were a couple of super tender and beefy NY strips! Had a great experience at Wyckoff Prime Meats and I'll be back!

Lovely dual atmosphere of the bar and the upscale restaurant - Even the the name was terrible and threw a lot of people off by the vibe. Steaks were great. Cooked Italian pasta dishes very well. The host was honestly the best thing there, when we walked in I told her we were celebrating a birthday if they could please bring out a candle with the dessert and she said "no problem, I already see it in our system" great. Once we sat down it took the waitress about 20minutes to take our order, other than the fact she had an attitude most of the time and barely came around asking if we needed anything else. We saw everyone else get bread with butter to start off and we had to ask another waitress to please bring us some because our waitress had not bothered. Once we got the bread the butter was extremely melted pure liquid. We ordered the bacon to start which was okay but a bit too sweet for our taste. We ordered the porterhouse for two (medium) once we got the steak it was more on the rare side and had barely any flavor. For sides we got the truffles fries and Mac and cheese which were good. Once our waitress FINALLY decided to come by and ask if we wanted some dessert we chose the apple one and once we received it I expected the candle to celebrate my bf but nope we never got it. Overall the experience was not good and I would NOT go back. There are a lot better places I could spend $300 for food!

It's not a huge store but the perfect size to find so many unique and healthy items as well as your average grocery items especially on a weeknight grocery trip. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to all requests. I was looking for weekly meal planning ideas and found thai curry pastes, Italian & Asian noodles, fresh and delicious prepared hot foods, and general groceries that I needed in a rush. All here at a reasonable price! Theres a great variety of deli meats and produce. It's definitely worth making your weekly grocery stop because you will find this store has better than average rice and grains, teas of all variety, sauces that suit any palate and fresh fruits and veggies. This location is amazing too. Theres a beautiful view of the Hudson river as well as banking, hardware store, pharmacy and a bakery along the same street. Its a really small town feel and I love it!
