I absolutely love this office! All of the equipment is very clean and high tech. All of the staff are super nice and caring people! You can tell they love what they do. Dr Hatami is such a lovely person! She will tell you how it is but she never makes me feel bad about my teeth. They are all wonderful and I will recommend her every time!

If I could give Spring Hills more than 5 stars, I would…read more I came to Spring Hills after my tooth broke, scared, embarrassed and extremely anxious. Because of past dental trauma, I hadn't been to a dentist since 2020. I called several offices that morning, but Nora was the first person to answer. Her kindness immediately put me at ease, and she got me scheduled quickly. That same warmth greeted me when I walked through the door. Then I met Kayla, who was an absolute Godsend. I came in already struggling with a cane and boot from an ankle injury, and we connected over her own experience with an injury. She explained everything before doing it and was incredibly gentle with my photos and X-rays. But what meant the most was her compassion. When I became emotional about the years of damage to my teeth, she handed me tissues, reminded me to breathe and told me, "one step at a time." I never once felt judged. I felt safe. Vanessa, my hygienist, was incredibly kind, informative and compassionate. Dr. Kim took his time explaining what was happening, what could be fixed and all of my options. When I asked for his personal advice, he explained how each option could affect me long-term, which helped calm so much of my anxiety. Finally, Letty walked me through my treatment plan and finances. Instead of just handing me a huge number, she broke everything down, helped me prioritize what was most urgent and discussed ways to make treatment manageable. When I wasn't approved for enough financing and felt defeated, she suggested looking into individual dental insurance--giving me another option and hope instead of making me feel like the conversation was over. I didn't even have dental work done that day--this 5-star review is based entirely on the exceptional care I received during my exam. From Nora answering my frightened phone call, to Kayla helping me through my anxiety, Vanessa educating me, Dr. Kim explaining my options and Letty helping me find a path forward, I felt cared for at every single step. I walked in fearful, stressed and overwhelmed. I walked out feeling relaxed, understood, seen and heard. Most importantly, I walked in because my tooth broke, but walked out feeling like something much bigger had been repaired--my trust in dental care. I truly believe God led me to this office when I needed it. I'm now looking forward to getting my dental health back on track and becoming a regular patient at Spring Hills. Nora, Kayla, Vanessa, Dr. Kim and Letty--thank you. Your kindness and compassion made an impact far beyond a dental exam. The gifts were sweet, but my experience with the Spring Hills team was even sweeter. You didn't just gain a patient. You helped someone who was afraid of the dentist finally feel safe enough to come back. I can't wait to return!

I used to be afraid of going to the dentist…read more I'm extremely happy with Dr Iwata (and Doris-she's great too). The first time I walked into his office, I saw his business cards folded up in origami and looking back, appreciate the relevance of how he practices. Aside from a painless experience, I appreciate the attention to detail and the artistic aesthetics he applies when making crowns or veneers. I have recommended his to friends and would recommend him in general though that could possibly make getting appointment for me harder in the future... Just kidding, if you're looking for a great experience, I recommend this place & I hardly ever submit Yelp or Amazon feedback.

BEWARE...DR. IWATA no longer owns this practice!! After over 15 years of excellent dental care with…read moreDr. Iwata in Loma Linda, I am deeply disappointed by the changes implemented since his retirement less than a year ago. The new owners, Dr. Johnson and team, require X-rays every 12 to 18 months , even though the ADA recommends X-rays every 24 to 36 months, unless there is a significant dental issue (https://www.ada.org/enmember-center/oral-health-topics/~/media/0666B35FBAFF4459814E5E635142638A.ashx). At my recent teeth cleaning appointment, I was told X-rays were MANDATORY and that the cleaning could not proceed without them. I explained that I was not interested in having X-rays since it had only been 18 months since my last set, and I've had no dental issues. Despite offering to sign a liability waiver TWICE during our conversation, the dentist refused and insisted on the X-rays. Being coerced into paying for an unnecessary service is both frustrating and UNETHICAL. Patients should have the right to make informed decisions about their care without pressure or ultimatums. This is based upon my experience of working in health care for 30+ years. Furthermore, the practice still heavily utilizes Dr. Iwata's name in texts, on their website, and in other communications, despite his retirement nine months ago. It is concerning that the new dentists' names and information are not mentioned on the website so patients can research where they went to school, work experience, etc. This reliance on Dr. Iwata's reputation and unwillingness to publicly attach their name to Dr. Iwata's FORMER practice, suggests they may be struggling to build trust with patients on their own merit. The staff, who formerly worked for Dr. Iwata, are excellent but without a competent dentist who values their patients there is not a reason to continue seeking care at this practice. Other changes include a $50 fee for canceling an appointment less than 48 hours in advance and requiring a dentist consultation at EVERY cleaning, resulting in additional charges. Under Dr. Iwata, cleanings were straightforward and did not necessitate extra fees unless the Hygienist found something of concern. Many times, Dr. Iwata would come in to assess xrays or my chart without charging a consultation fee. There are MANY excellent dentists in the area, so it is time to move on to one who RESPECTS patients, VALUES their choices, and builds trust based on their own reputation--not someone else's.

Well, "level up" barely describes the experience we have had so far with Dr. Wang and her associates! First and foremost, Dr. Wang is a passionate dental educator at heart and incredibly professional and knowledgable! My new patient visit included x-rays, a thorough cleaning, MANY photos of what my teeth actually look like (yikes, the plaque!), a tooth-brushing demonstration, and guidance about how to use a Water Pik. The treatment plan she formulated for me was conservative, fair, and reasonable, and there was not one attempt to try to upsell me. She taught me so much about my teeth and oral hygiene care in that initial visit. And like any good educator, she was transparent about the work she was doing and what she plans to do with my teeth. I found her to be so motivating and encouraging. As someone who has never been a consistently good dental patient, I really appreciated her approach. I went back a month later for a few fillings and she showed me (via before and after photos) how much I've improved in my oral hygiene and a few areas where I need to be more diligent. That was really helpful and I will look forward to this monitoring in subsequent visits. The vibe in the office? Welcoming, friendly, and completely patient-centered. Heather, Natalia, and Sarah, along with Dr. Wang, are all so personable, sweet, and relaxed. If you are looking for a dental professional of this caliber, Dr. Michelle Wang is the one!

I must say that I unequivocally feel that her practice is well worth the long commute. I have been very impressed with Dr. Wang, her staff and hygienists. Dr. Wang is thorough, knowledgeable, sensitive to the needs of her patients, and accommodating if there is an emergency situation. I have since moved out to Yucaipa so I no longer have the long commute, but I would have been more than happy to continue traveling the long distance to receive the quality care and attention I get from Dr. Wang, Heather, and the hygienists. I am so appreciative that I found them for my dental needs.
