We ordered an arrangement two days before and specifically requested a morning delivery to coincide with my elderly sisters birthday. The flowers did not arrive until late afternoon. The florist was not very sympathetic but offered to refund $15.00. 3 weeks later we did see the refund. When checking on it we were told that a refund was not going to happen, that we could only have a store credit and for a much lesser amount. We did not accept their weak offer and will never shop there again. read more

We ordered the flowers 8 days in advance for a 70th birthday. As of 3 pm the day they were supposed to be delivered, they still were not there. I called to find out when they would be delivered and I was told 'well, we're really busy'. Say what! We wanted to make our friend's day - not their evening. I called AGAIN at 4:45 pm and 'they were still on the truck". WTH! Asked to speak to the owner so I could complain, and they would not come to the phone. Tsk tsk. The flowers should have been delivered first thing in the morning - not after 5 pm! NOT IMPRESSED. The driver apologized profusely. Arrangement is nice. read more

This flower shop is hands down my favourite. I have ordered from them for years and they have always come through. Since I now live overseas, I rely on them even more for birthdays and special occasions. Here's a tip, if you have a kid you know in elementary school order them a balloon bouquet and have it delivered to the school - they won't see it coming. Went here on thanksgiving to buy flowers for my mom's bday. Amazing selection, great service, super friendly. They wrapped up my flowers and for a great price, i walked out happy. Cut to two minutes later, I walk back in, shoulders slumped. I had dropped my flowers and smashed them to bits by accident, so came back in to buy some more. The ladies working wouldn't hear of it when I asked to pay, they said accidents happen and it was thanksgiving, so they wrapped up another exact same kind of flowers for me. I was floored. Picked up my table arrangement a day early and was extremely pleased. Added water immediately and placed them on the table. I checked them today, Christmas Eve and found the hydrangea were both limp and dying, they didn't even make it to Christmas Day. The rest of the flowers seem fine. I hope to have them around for new year's dinner. read more

I ordered flowers to be sent out to a grieving friend and they put the wrong name along with my husbands name on the card. I called and in the background the girl was saying it was her fault as she had too many things on the go. They offered to call and apologize but the damage was done. I'll never use them again!!! read more

I went to this store a couple nights ago about making a bouquet. The younger girl was very helpful and said to come back to speak to the designer after we tentitively put together what ibwanted. She quoted me about 15 to 20 for the 2 flowers and 2 pieces if greens. I went back today to speak to the designer and place my order. I was treated like i was a huge inconvience and was spoken to with great attitude. The designer also wanted to charge me about $55 for her "design". Between the rude attitude and outlandish pricing i will never enter the store again. read more

This florist has the friendliest staff . I have been a customer since I moved to Newmarket 10 years ago. I have given and received many floral gifts and they always exceed my expectations.Their flowers are always fresh and beautifully presented . My boyfriend bought me long stem roses for my birthday from Karen and Tina, they only lasted 3 days. The roses did not open and wilted on the 3rd day. I live in Thornhill, my boyfriend is from Newmarket. I only see Mike every other week. I took a photo of the roses and texted the pic to Mike. I told him to go back to the florist to show them what my expensive roses look like. They said to him that he should bring them to the store so that they can see how I cut them. It would have cost me more on gas then what they would have done to conpensate. What a joke. Mike has bought flowers from them for many years, but this will be the last. Flowers that I buy from the Superstore last longer than that. If you are going to buy from them, read this over again. THEY ARE EXPENSIVE AND VERY POOR QUALITY!!!! read more

Karen and Tina' flowers is probably the worst place to purchase flowers in Newmarket, without a doubt. To start Karen and Tina have NO customer service. I called them to have flowers sent to my mom on Valentines day, I did this order over the phone thinking it was the safest and easiest way and I was so far from right. By the end of the call I had to cancel as they could not tell me a time when they would be delievered due to the high amount of flowers being sent being that it was Valentines day, they told me within a 6 hour time period, with that being said I had to cancel. The Manager herself then wished me luck on finding someone who was going to deliver my flowers then hung up on me, keep in mind while on the phone they had taken all of my visa information. The next day I go on and find out that they had taken $61 from my visa after I had cancelled the order. Calling back to find out about a refund which should of never even been taken out to begin with I was told that I was all told on the innitial phone call that they would STILL process the order and I would need to wait 2 business days for a refund, which is clear never happend or I would have never had to call in the first place. LASTLY, when I called back to get this all cleared up the MANAGER had NOT even canceled the order when I asked her to. As a result, there was NOTHING they could do and NO appology was ever given to me. Basically, NEVER go to Karen and Tina's flowers if this story was not obvious enough, unless you want they illegally taking money from your visa without going thru the by-law process of notifying the customers. read more
