From the moment I made the call, Orchid Florist was attentive and compassionate, guiding me through the selection process with patience and care. They ensured on-time delivery with the email confirmation. This extra step (the email confirmation), gave us peace of mind during a time of great stress and uncertainty. The flower arrangements they provided were not only beautiful but also a true testament to their dedication to their craft. The flowers were incredibly fresh and vibrant, and they added a touch of beauty and elegance to the service that was deeply appreciated by our family and friends. I was simply amazed by the quality of their flower arrangements. Even after two days, as we gathered for the burial service, the flowers retained their stunning beauty and freshness. During such a challenging time, it's reassuring to know that there are businesses like Orchid Florist that genuinely care about their customers and the quality of their work. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking not only beautiful flowers but also professional and reliable service.

I wanted something that wasn't too flashy since it isn't a romantic relationship but at the same time wasn't too simple. I landed on the website for Cool Green & Shady and I could tell immediately that this would work. All of their arrangements appear to be custom and NOT the generic Teleflora offerings. There are sections for types of occasions. There Valentine's section really had something for everyone at different price points, in vases, in boxes, etc. I settled on the 'Puppy Love' which had really uniquely shaped greens with a few roses to fit that V-Day theme. The site includes a lot of detail about each of the arrangements so the one I chose is really only meant to be optimally displayed from one side which was interesting. Also they do mention that they will make substitutes if any of the components are not available. I was able to leave a small message with the flowers at no extra cost. At check-out, I was able to select goodies like different types of chocolates to add, so I wound up adding a chocolate lollipop. This was obviously a surprise so I didn't give my friend a heads-up on the delivery. She has a tendency to ignore callers she doesn't know so the delivery driver had to ring a few times before she finally answered. I'm so glad they were persistent so she could get her flower delivery! They didn't wind up making any substitutions for her flowers and they looked beautiful! Will definitely order from here again.

My husband and I began our search for a florist about a year before our wedding date and decided, despite the advice of our wedding planner, to just go with a family friend. As the wedding day approached we began to realize we absolutely needed a professional florist. Our lax approach to florals quickly turned into a nightmare, we were two weeks away from the big day and had to tell the family friend that it just wasn't working out. Thankfully, our wedding planner connected us with Amber who was able to squeeze us into her busy fall schedule. We loved the first sample images she sent over and knew, right away that our day would be saved! Amber was so professional and replied to emails right away. We were stressed enough as it was and she made this process a lot easier for us. Walking in to our ceremony space and reception room for the first time took my breath away. Amber and her team went above and beyond, I knew everything would look great I just had no idea how great! We received so many compliments and guests were practically fighting over who got to take the centre piece home! We cannot thank Amber and her team enough!

Beautiful flowers that are bang for your buck!…read more I've been coming here for a couple years to grab Mother's Day flowers and always pre-order with a bunch of my friends. We usually order our flowers with customization in colours and preferences through the wechat app and the owner is pretty responsive to our orders. However, on busier days such as Mother's Day, the owner is super disoriented and gives you whatever pre-made bunch of flowers she has on hand. I ended up with two bouquets that are purple, even though that is not what I have ordered. The owner stated that she had given my bouquet earlier to someone else who came to pick up and therefore is giving me someone else's purple bouquet as well. You can let the owner know your budget for the flowers and she came make the magic happen for you. I usually order $50 bouquets in advance with requests of peonies and no lilies. Her wrapping has gotten more modern and beautiful over time which is great that she is keeping with trends! There are also single stem flowers and premade bouquets that you can purchase on the spot. A big tip for this shop is to pre-order early and don't pick up your flowers on a busy day/ holiday like Mother's Day. Pick up your flowers a day before and have it readily available at home to make sure you get what you actually ordered! Overall, would I order from here again? Yes - because it's cheap! Is it a gamble with your flower colour? Yes - but I'm willing to take the risk for it!

One of the best things about this little shop is that you give them whatever budget you have plus a colour theme if you have, and they put together something unexpected and amazing. If you don't have anything in mind they also give great suggestions. They've been opened for many years now and for a good reason. So, if you're from the area and you're looking for a flower shop, this is the one to go to.

I did a quick Yelp search and found a few options - the photos of Helen Blakey's arrangements were most in line with my aesthetic and very reasonably priced for delivery. I ordered the Teleflora's Pretty Pastel Bouquet - Standard and made a quick note in the comments section about what I liked most about the arrangement. The online system was very simple to use (it looks like many florists use the same system) and I placed the order on Mar 10, 3 days in advance of the desired delivery date of Mar 13. I was a little apprehensive about placing an online order with a florist without any verbal/email communication but decided to give it a chance - and am so glad I did! The arrangement my mom received was absolutely stunning and even more beautiful than I expected!! I didn't specify a delivery time - the arrangement was delivered in the afternoon on the day requested. My mom has texted me multiple times about how much she loves the flowers and even said (and I quote): "I think these are the most beautiful flowers I have ever received in my life. The pleasant colours, the aroma, the charming delivery driver, the ribbons on the packaging ..." The arrangement & overall experience brought her so much joy! Helen Blakey Flowers is definitely going to be my go-to Toronto florist now & I may even look into using them for my Toronto wedding next year!
