What was delivered was a small unimpressive (poor quality) bouquet that looked nothing like what I ordered. The flower selection was cheap, and the overall quality was far below what I expected for the price. On top of this, within 24 hours the cheap flowers were wilting. I had high hopes based on their reviews, but this was a major letdown. Unless this was an isolated incident, I'm left wondering if their high ratings are fake.

I ordered the Teleflora's Pretty Pastel Bouquet - Standard and made a quick note in the comments section about what I liked most about the arrangement. The online system was very simple to use (it looks like many florists use the same system) and I placed the order on Mar 10, 3 days in advance of the desired delivery date of Mar 13. I was a little apprehensive about placing an online order with a florist without any verbal/email communication but decided to give it a chance - and am so glad I did! The arrangement my mom received was absolutely stunning and even more beautiful than I expected!! I didn't specify a delivery time - the arrangement was delivered in the afternoon on the day requested. My mom has texted me multiple times about how much she loves the flowers and even said (and I quote): "I think these are the most beautiful flowers I have ever received in my life. The pleasant colours, the aroma, the charming delivery driver, the ribbons on the packaging ..." The arrangement & overall experience brought her so much joy! Helen Blakey Flowers is definitely going to be my go-to Toronto florist now & I may even look into using them for my Toronto wedding next year! I completed the order process online, which was quick and simple. I requested for the delivery to be made after 4:00PM and the Helen Blakey team did a great job to meet my expectation. In addition to making a note on the delivery card to deliver as "late as possible," the individual that delivered the bouquet asked the security guard of the building to hold on to the bouquet and contact the recipient at a later time than when they actually dropped it off. The flowers were fresh and beautiful. I couldn't be more impressed with my experience and I look forward to placing future orders!

Knowing this weekend would be very busy for him and his staff, I suggested picking up at a later date. He was swift in his responce, requesting details on how I would like the arrangement & followed up with confirmation of having everything prepared for Mother's Day (Sunday) 3pm pickup! Always extremely helpful & understanding. I absolutely love Kyle's arrangements, as the flowers always last far beyond other suppliers I've tried. They're all the more special as he seems to design each bouquet in layers. On pickup you'll have an already bloomed set of beautiful flowers which last at roughly 6-7 days, the filler is accompanied by unbloomed buds which tend to blossom after 5-7 days of pickup. This bouquet appears to have a third layer of unbloomed lilies which I assume will blossom within a few days as well. Where a typical bouquet is thrown out after a week, Kyle's arrangements always last a minimum of two weeks! I will continue to be loyal to Growers Flowers.
