After reading through review after review, I came across Flowers by CC. At that time, there wasn't a whole lot of reviews for CC. Of the few out there - they were enough to convince me to give them a try. Fast forward to now, they're the only place I trust to order flowers in Toronto. The bouquets are always beautiful, tastefully arranged, and flower selections are unique. They never fail to put a smile and brighten up my friends' day and home. If properly trimmed and cared for, the flowers last well over a week. An added bonus, I get to support a local Canadian business too!

I remembered I needed to pick up some flowers for a birthday gift when I was out in Markham. I…read morequickly looked up a few shops and Blooms was one of the few in the area that was open before 2pm. It looks like they have a backroom where they prepare most of the flowers. When I walked in, a doorbell chime went off and a staff member was quickly out to help me. I told her about my situation and she asked a lot of good questions like who the bouquet was for, what was their relation, if they had favourite colours or flowers, to help narrow down what the ideal arrangement would be. Next, she asked for my budget. Once I decided on an amount, I was rung up ahead of time. It is a little spooky to pay ahead of time without an idea of what you're getting but I was sort of in a pinch without any other options. She let me know that they'd need about 30-45 minutes to pick something up and that she'd give me a call when they were ready. They were done in about 40 minutes sand I received the call to come by. The bouquet was absolutely gorgeous! The front room has a refrigerated case with some flowers but I don't think that is there entire inventory because there was a huge variety of stems in my bouquet than I saw displayed. I can't describe how pretty it was with the assortment of lilies, roses, and greens that were in there. I was there for the unpacking of the flowers and the wrapping was expertly done. There were several layers of paper and they were matching with the flowers and very high quality with a nice texture. The flowers were really packed in water so they didn't wilt on their 3 hour journey around the GTA. They were also trimmed so there was nothing to do except put them in a vase and sit back to admire them!

I came in wanting to buy my mother a small bouquet for her birthday, so I explained some of my mother's likes and gave the shopkeeper a budget of only $20. The shopkeeper claimed that she could not give me much given the small budget, but she went above and beyond what I expected. Within seconds she was able to pick and choose flowers that went well together, and within minutes did she make a beautiful bouquet with all sorts of flowers and a decorative pink wrap with a golden ribbon. Never underestimate this place, the shopkeepers can make anything work.

Beautiful flowers that are bang for your buck!…read more I've been coming here for a couple years to grab Mother's Day flowers and always pre-order with a bunch of my friends. We usually order our flowers with customization in colours and preferences through the wechat app and the owner is pretty responsive to our orders. However, on busier days such as Mother's Day, the owner is super disoriented and gives you whatever pre-made bunch of flowers she has on hand. I ended up with two bouquets that are purple, even though that is not what I have ordered. The owner stated that she had given my bouquet earlier to someone else who came to pick up and therefore is giving me someone else's purple bouquet as well. You can let the owner know your budget for the flowers and she came make the magic happen for you. I usually order $50 bouquets in advance with requests of peonies and no lilies. Her wrapping has gotten more modern and beautiful over time which is great that she is keeping with trends! There are also single stem flowers and premade bouquets that you can purchase on the spot. A big tip for this shop is to pre-order early and don't pick up your flowers on a busy day/ holiday like Mother's Day. Pick up your flowers a day before and have it readily available at home to make sure you get what you actually ordered! Overall, would I order from here again? Yes - because it's cheap! Is it a gamble with your flower colour? Yes - but I'm willing to take the risk for it!

They set the expectation that the flowers would not be delivered same day, and it was totally understandable as it was the day before Christmas. It was so nice of them to tell me ASAP and gave me a realistic update, and made sure that they would be delivered on Dec 27th. On Dec 26th, I found out that my co worker has already gone home from the hospital and I needed to update the delivery address, so I emailed & left them a voicemail. Even though the shop was closed for the holidays, I still received an email confirmation about an hour later and I was rest assured that address would be updated. It was a great experience with Metro Florist inc from start to finish and I would definitely re-order from here again in the future :)
