I landed on the website for Cool Green & Shady and I could tell immediately that this would work. All of their arrangements appear to be custom and NOT the generic Teleflora offerings. There are sections for types of occasions. There Valentine's section really had something for everyone at different price points, in vases, in boxes, etc. I settled on the 'Puppy Love' which had really uniquely shaped greens with a few roses to fit that V-Day theme. The site includes a lot of detail about each of the arrangements so the one I chose is really only meant to be optimally displayed from one side which was interesting. Also they do mention that they will make substitutes if any of the components are not available. I was able to leave a small message with the flowers at no extra cost. At check-out, I was able to select goodies like different types of chocolates to add, so I wound up adding a chocolate lollipop. This was obviously a surprise so I didn't give my friend a heads-up on the delivery. She has a tendency to ignore callers she doesn't know so the delivery driver had to ring a few times before she finally answered. I'm so glad they were persistent so she could get her flower delivery! They didn't wind up making any substitutions for her flowers and they looked beautiful! Will definitely order from here again.

My husband and I began our search for a florist about a year before our wedding date and decided, despite the advice of our wedding planner, to just go with a family friend. As the wedding day approached we began to realize we absolutely needed a professional florist. Our lax approach to florals quickly turned into a nightmare, we were two weeks away from the big day and had to tell the family friend that it just wasn't working out. Thankfully, our wedding planner connected us with Amber who was able to squeeze us into her busy fall schedule. We loved the first sample images she sent over and knew, right away that our day would be saved! Amber was so professional and replied to emails right away. We were stressed enough as it was and she made this process a lot easier for us. Walking in to our ceremony space and reception room for the first time took my breath away. Amber and her team went above and beyond, I knew everything would look great I just had no idea how great! We received so many compliments and guests were practically fighting over who got to take the centre piece home! We cannot thank Amber and her team enough!

When I walked in, a doorbell chime went off and a staff member was quickly out to help me. I told her about my situation and she asked a lot of good questions like who the bouquet was for, what was their relation, if they had favourite colours or flowers, to help narrow down what the ideal arrangement would be. Next, she asked for my budget. Once I decided on an amount, I was rung up ahead of time. It is a little spooky to pay ahead of time without an idea of what you're getting but I was sort of in a pinch without any other options. She let me know that they'd need about 30-45 minutes to pick something up and that she'd give me a call when they were ready. They were done in about 40 minutes sand I received the call to come by. The bouquet was absolutely gorgeous! The front room has a refrigerated case with some flowers but I don't think that is there entire inventory because there was a huge variety of stems in my bouquet than I saw displayed. I can't describe how pretty it was with the assortment of lilies, roses, and greens that were in there. I was there for the unpacking of the flowers and the wrapping was expertly done. There were several layers of paper and they were matching with the flowers and very high quality with a nice texture. The flowers were really packed in water so they didn't wilt on their 3 hour journey around the GTA. They were also trimmed so there was nothing to do except put them in a vase and sit back to admire them!

She knew exactly what to do and gave us an example of what she thought. Came to pick it up the next day and the bouquet was beautifully done and very full! It was about $60 and she gave us nice, straight-forward directions on what to do to keep the flowers until we gave them. Excellent service, quick and effective. Gave me a strong sense that they knew exactly what they were doing, and that they were good at what they do. Will be back in the future for any of my floral needs.

What was delivered was a small unimpressive (poor quality) bouquet that looked nothing like what I ordered. The flower selection was cheap, and the overall quality was far below what I expected for the price. On top of this, within 24 hours the cheap flowers were wilting. I had high hopes based on their reviews, but this was a major letdown. Unless this was an isolated incident, I'm left wondering if their high ratings are fake.
