I landed on the website for Cool Green & Shady and I could tell immediately that this would work. All of their arrangements appear to be custom and NOT the generic Teleflora offerings. There are sections for types of occasions. There Valentine's section really had something for everyone at different price points, in vases, in boxes, etc. I settled on the 'Puppy Love' which had really uniquely shaped greens with a few roses to fit that V-Day theme. The site includes a lot of detail about each of the arrangements so the one I chose is really only meant to be optimally displayed from one side which was interesting. Also they do mention that they will make substitutes if any of the components are not available. I was able to leave a small message with the flowers at no extra cost. At check-out, I was able to select goodies like different types of chocolates to add, so I wound up adding a chocolate lollipop. This was obviously a surprise so I didn't give my friend a heads-up on the delivery. She has a tendency to ignore callers she doesn't know so the delivery driver had to ring a few times before she finally answered. I'm so glad they were persistent so she could get her flower delivery! They didn't wind up making any substitutions for her flowers and they looked beautiful! Will definitely order from here again.

As the wedding day approached we began to realize we absolutely needed a professional florist. Our lax approach to florals quickly turned into a nightmare, we were two weeks away from the big day and had to tell the family friend that it just wasn't working out. Thankfully, our wedding planner connected us with Amber who was able to squeeze us into her busy fall schedule. We loved the first sample images she sent over and knew, right away that our day would be saved! Amber was so professional and replied to emails right away. We were stressed enough as it was and she made this process a lot easier for us. Walking in to our ceremony space and reception room for the first time took my breath away. I spoke to both my mother and mother-in-law and nothing has come to their doorsteps. Sweetpea's didn't bother to even call me or e-mail to tell me that the flowers will not be coming. I'm assuming they won't be delivered this evening. Even if they are, the whole point was to have them delivered to be enjoyed during the day on Valentine's day. I will NEVER use this company again. The fact that they didn't even have the courtesy to tell me that my order will not be completed as it was supposed to be shows a general lack of professionalism and a complete lack of respect for their customers. I'm hoping to get my money back tomorrow, because there is no point in getting Valentine's Day flowers after the actual day. Very disappointed!!

I ordered the Teleflora's Pretty Pastel Bouquet - Standard and made a quick note in the comments section about what I liked most about the arrangement. The online system was very simple to use (it looks like many florists use the same system) and I placed the order on Mar 10, 3 days in advance of the desired delivery date of Mar 13. I was a little apprehensive about placing an online order with a florist without any verbal/email communication but decided to give it a chance - and am so glad I did! The arrangement my mom received was absolutely stunning and even more beautiful than I expected!! I didn't specify a delivery time - the arrangement was delivered in the afternoon on the day requested. My mom has texted me multiple times about how much she loves the flowers and even said (and I quote): "I think these are the most beautiful flowers I have ever received in my life. I completed the order process online, which was quick and simple. I requested for the delivery to be made after 4:00PM and the Helen Blakey team did a great job to meet my expectation. In addition to making a note on the delivery card to deliver as "late as possible," the individual that delivered the bouquet asked the security guard of the building to hold on to the bouquet and contact the recipient at a later time than when they actually dropped it off.
