In August, I had to place a phone order from the US for 2 flower arrangements (SILKEN SERENITY CASKET SPRAY and GLORIOUS FAREWELL SPRAY in white to match the casket spray) for my mother-in-law's funeral in Toronto, Canada. From the moment I made the call, Orchid Florist was attentive and compassionate, guiding me through the selection process with patience and care. They ensured on-time delivery with the email confirmation. This extra step (the email confirmation), gave us peace of mind during a time of great stress and uncertainty. The flower arrangements they provided were not only beautiful but also a true testament to their dedication to their craft. Once again, unbelievable, customer service and absolutely the best flower quality available in Ontario. These are the Mother's Day flowers I sent to my mom -two of the photos were the flowers the day they arrived and then one of the flower photos was 10 days later. Still looking spectacular if not even more spectacular now that the flowers are opening!!!!. First of all, I've used these guys for at least 8 different delivery orders. Secondly, ALWAYS ask for help from Karen. She has great ideas and is always patient and helpful. I made the mistake of letting another worker there help me one time and the results were disappointing to say the least. From the final product to the customer service this person provided, it was pretty bad. If you order, do so over the phone, prices are much more reasonable if you just call them as opposed to using their website. It costs an extra $11 to have the flowers delivered, well worth it. Same day orders need to be made around noon, Ontario time, to be delivered the same day. Highly recommend these florists for their creativity and customer service. read more

At Orchid Florist Karen gave me her honest opinion about where to spend and where to save, she had a great eye, and she understood what my priorities were with an immediate understanding of my taste. In the lead up to the wedding celebration my mom or myself would pop in and the women in the shop were all so incredibly pleasant, competent, and overall a delight. For many years, I have frequently sent flowers for various occasions (from joyous events to funerals, etc.) to friends and family in Ontario, Canada, but it's almost always been a horrible experience that I came to dread. I've tried ALL of the florists in the city where most of my "peeps" live. I am an artist and I adore flowers, yet no matter how clearly I have communicated to florists what I want as well as what I do NOT want, almost without exception, when the recipient would send me a photo of the flowers they received, I was horrified by how utterly hideous the arrangements were, and stunned by how wrong the florists had got my requests. I was also embarrassed to have my name and my husband's on these floral messes. Not so with "Orchid Florist" which is three hours away from the city referenced above. My sister was having a surgery nearby "Orchid Florist" and I spoke with Jenna about the arrangement I wanted to send. She was great -- she listened carefully, we talked about options, etc. and I sensed that she truly "got" what I desired...but since I'd been disappointed countless times before, I didn't let myself get hopeful. Well, I received a photo of the arrangement last night and it was PRECISELY what Jenna and I had discussed in every single way -- the flowers, the container, the size, the overall silhouette, everything! She made a strikingly gorgeous arrangement and I was over the moon! I had to call today to tell "Orchid Florist" how impressed and thrilled I was! Karen, the owner, was as lovely as Jenna! I only wish they were closer to where most of my family and friends in Ontario live. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and I will definitely look forward to using them again for the few people I know in their area.
