There is a jewelry store for people who don't want to venture above 14th street but want to make a statement with their gift. Of course you can buy something for yourself too or travel to NOLITA from out of the area and you won't really need your passport. Push has continued to grow in their designs and the materials they use, so if platinum and diamonds are what you are looking for than this is the place. The owner, designer is in residence to work with customers as well as a very friendly and staff. Magazines and celebrities discovered this goldmine, no pun intended, years ago and now it's your turn. read more

Karen Karch - Jewelry Near Me - New York, New York

Fantastic place. Beautiful pieces. Lovely staff. Always a great experience shopping here, whether it's online or in person. I have no complaints :) read more

I've worked with many jewelers over the years and the Karen Karch experience is truly exceptional-- & always has been since I started collecting her pieces many years ago. Not only are Karch's creations in the highest realm of contemporary designers working today but interacting with the studio is a truly positive experience. Karch and her staff are professionals who communicate with warmth and care, every time, so it's an experience I know I can trust. These are often investment pieces but the kind you want to wear forever, everywhere you go (I live in my favorite pieces!). And if you are familiar with fine jewelry, the pricing is excellent considering the BeauTY & quality (& intensive skills & time) that goes into each piece. Karch's work is unique & amazing-- treasured talismans to cherish. (Her new collaboration with Deme Wolfe is also stunning & worth a close look) read more

I am so sad to say I had a truly terrible experience with Karen Karch's retail operation - ending in tears. Being a decidedly drama free woman, this is saying something. After months of research to find my dream engagement ring, I finally found Karen's exquisite work online and a few months later, I made a point during a business trip to go to her shop on Mulberry Street. I found that her work is indeed worthy of its praise and left with 2 rings chosen for my boyfriend to choose between. Sadly, her sales staff are incredibly indiscreet and instead of dealing with him exclusively on the ring purchase, contacted me directly 2 days after getting his email (and only one week after my visit), asking me to clarify some of his questions. I also learned she never spoke to him, and perhaps as a sales tactic thought it smarter to involve me rather than speak to him by phone. This is after they told me they knew to contact only him after I left, and that they knew how to handle surprises. Having had zero knowledge he even had spoken to them, her emails came as a shock, and went into detail on his questions and let me know his plans were in action. While the surprise was ruined, more than anything a really special moment was turned into an upsetting day. I went from over the moon to very disappointed and my poor boyfriend feels like his trust was betrayed. More than anything I am frustrated that the sales staff didn't even have the courtesy to pick up the phone and apologize to my him. It would have meant a lot to both of us. Perhaps being right is better than a sale, but in terms of something so momentous as an engagement, feeling special and taken care of means a lot to both of us - and it was made abundantly clear we were not important enough for even a phone call. I truly hope other people don't experience this - I've never heard of anything like it. read more

I was deeply disappointed when trying to buy a ring here a couple of years ago. My husband and I were planning our wedding and were ready to get the dreamy fantasy ring for myself. After cruising Catbird, Roseark, Broken English and Love Adorned, I decided on Karen Karsch. Such stunning designs. We were in NYC for the week and I tried to book an appointment since I wouldn't buy something like this online without trying it on. Lisa asked me to name our budget before making an appointment - which seemed really off color. Can you imagine Margiela or Rick Owens or any other luxury environment asking you how much you planned on spending before bothering to let you see the collection...um no. She then told me that she could only give me an appointment unless I 100% guaranteed I would purchase a ring on the spot and not order it at a later date. It seemed like a joke, but no it was not. Apparently the physical store was under construction, so for them to bother meeting us without a prior agreement to purchase something I had not seen was not an option, and she went on to tell me that It is totally normal to buy your wedding/engagement ring without trying it on or seeing it in person - sweet. Then they contacted me to let me know months later that the ring I was interested in had gone on sale. Day late - we had already purchased a ring and formed a relationship that has led to many more purchases with another jewelry designer. We wound up spending about three times what we thought such a ring would cost - because no walks in the door focused on spending $6,000 on an nondescript object, the magic happens when you fall in love with the item and the numbers should follow. So the name your budget before coming in approach is in very poor taste. I have never come back as this experience was frankly a tad ghetto and pushy. I love the designs so it is unfortunate. read more

It truly is upsetting to see all of these bad reviews. I heard about the designer online and when buying jewelry...in person truly is better than seeing anything online. With that being said, I made my way to the store and had a wonderful experience! I had no issues with the salesperson, she was very sweet. I bought my mother a birthday present and she loved how unique her piece was. I would go back to the store and recommend it to anyone I knew! read more

I love KK jewelry. The pieces are really unique, beautiful, and well made. I always have a great experience there, whether buying "off the shelf" or having a custom piece made. They are really helpful and creative. My godmother had given me her diamond ring to use the diamond to make a ring that was my style. KK did this unique, blackened platinum ring that I love to wear every day. This place is a tuei gem. read more

Karen Karch - Rings - Jewelry Near Me - New York, New York

My experience in Karen Karch was excellent. The space is so relaxing and makes picking out a gift for my girlfriend so easy and realizing. I will definitely be returning for all future jewelry gifts. Lyssa was super helpful and showed me all different options I could choice. My girlfriend has admired Karen Karch for years and I was surprised to find they created a sister collection Karch Wolfe that is just as amazing and fits any budget. So happy with my entire experience and look forward to working with them in the future. read more

This jewelry store appears to have beautiful pieces. I am sure it would have been nice to buy something there. However, had an unfortunate experience with their Director of Sales, Lisa. She was a pushy sales gal which you gotta appreciate, after all that is the job of sales. However, her pushy sales tactics were so inappropriate that it ruined a surprise purchase by contacting the very person I wanted to surprise. Since the surprise was ruined I would not recommend purchasing from this jeweler. There are many jewelers out there that can provide better service. read more

When I got engaged my husband knew I wanted a unique ring. I had seen a stone but did not know what it was. Deme helped me figure out exactly what I wanted. After not being able to describe what I wanted in a ring, she designed more than one setting until she designed a gorgeous one-of-a-kind wedding set. I get compliments on it constantly. She didn't give up, even when I couldn't put in words what I wanted. I appreciate her patience and their amazing talent! If you want a unique and classic piece, Karch Wolfe is the answer! read more

Such a cool place. Loved seeing the unique designs of Karen Karch and KarchWolf. Relaxed vibe and wonderful staff. I came upon KarchWolf on instagram and just fell in love with some of the designs. Deme was happy to help my try on their work. I didn't feel rushed or pressured. If you're looking for that piece of jewelry that stands out, be sure to check them out. read more

This store used to be called Push and I think it's changed it's name to the owner/designer's name, Karen Karch. This store has beautiful, uniquely designed jewelry, however, one should see the merchandise in person rather than shopping the web-site. I have felt some pieces and wasn't impressed with the weight of the metal and for the prices, I expected more. That said, I still would recommend this jewelry line for the funky bride looking to make a very personal statement! read more

I cannot properly express how gifted a designer Karen is. Her jewelry treads the delicate lines between punk expression and elegant refinement. My wife is so excited to see one of Karen's pieces, because we both know they're always going to be a one-of-a-kind. This is jewelry for those who are passionate about jewelry. read more

13 years ago I started buying KK jewelry with my wife. We love the craftsmanship, the uniqueness and the attention we've received with every purchase. It seems like every major milestone in our marriage is celebrated through Karen's work. Furthermore, I found Lisa and Karen to be a team that wants to understand our tastes. They take the time, in a friendly way, to exceed our needs. Couple their low-key style, their desire to please, and the jewelry itself and it's fairly obvious why we are lifelong customers. read more

A talented designer with some unique organic designs but the value equation is difficult to understand. This coupled with an overly aggressive and heavily manipulative salesperson named Lisa make it a regrettable decision. Do not give up your email address or phone numbers, you will be hounded and she works all the angles to pit husband against wife and vice versa. Nice stuff but stay anonymous I'm telling you. read more

I personally believe that the jewelry industry is littered with scam artists (i.e., google DeBeers & diamond scam). Karen Karch, while talented, is no different. A few things you can count on if you buy a ring here: (1) her sales staff will engage in high-pressure sales tactics & likely be rude; (2) the jewelry's actual value will be SIGNIFICANTLY LESS than retail price; and (3) Karen will disappear if you start to ask too many questions. My suggestion? Find one of her pieces USED if you're smitten with her design aesthetic. You'll save tons of money and a headache. If interested, contact me directly as I'm selling my engagement ring and tiara for about 75% off retail. read more

I have been collecting Karen Karch jewelry for about 5 years now. I'm a big believer in finding a favorite jewelry line and building from that. The pieces are my absolute favorites and get worn daily. I live in Austin Texas, so have ordered online usually with the expert help of Lisa. I have never had anything but a fabulous experience. My husband and I will check out the new Gramercy Park store in September when I'll have my engagement ring reset to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. I trust Karen to create something unique and special. KK jewelery reminds me of fairytale romance mixed with sophisticated edgy elegance. I get so many compliments on all my KK gems. read more
