They truly care about the kids and families in our community, and it shows in everything they do. We've had the opportunity to collaborate with them on several events, and they are always supportive, professional, and a pleasure to work with. The facility is really nice with a classroom for before and after care, pro shop and viewing area for parents. The camp is from 9-3 and is a fun filled day of different gymnastics (before and after care is as early as 730 and late at 6pm and is FREE!!!). For my daughter, this was an excellent introduction to the sport and we are hopeful to continue in the fall with weekly sessions. Room for improvement: Lack of communication. I was told I would receive an email prior to the start of camp with specifics for the week and I never did. I was able to find all of the information needed from the website (which is very helpful and has easy class sign up). Also, I was a little uncomfortable with the lack of sign in and sign out. My husband dropped my daughter off, therefore they did to know me and didn't say anything as I packed my daughter's things and we quickly exited the building. I did come during the transition from camp to after care, but that is more reason to have eyes on children to ensure they leave with the appropriate people. All in all, I think the facility and program is very nice and with improvement of a couple things, they would have 5 stars :) Thank you so much for the email. I appreciate your time.

Our two daughters have been attending United Family Taekwondo since the summer of 2021, and the…read moregrowth we've seen in both of them has been incredible. They both started as white belts and are now black belts. Our oldest is now a 2nd Degree Black Belt and serves as a Junior Instructor. Through her journey at UFT, we've watched her confidence, discipline, and character grow tremendously. Master Kim, Master Daniel, and Grand Master Lee have all been such positive influences in her life. It makes us so proud to see her continue pushing forward while also giving back by helping younger students learn and grow. Beyond self-defense, United Family Taekwondo has helped her develop self-esteem, confidence, endurance, perseverance, and a strong sense of self-worth. These are invaluable life skills that will continue to benefit her for years to come. Our youngest daughter is now a black belt as well. She started when she was only 5 years old and has come such a long way. In the beginning, she struggled with paying attention in group settings and required one-on-one instruction. Master Kim worked patiently with her individually to help her catch up and build confidence. Today, she is sharp, confident, funny, and absolutely loves going to TKD. She also loved being part of the after-school care program with Ms. Jen, during the time when we needed after-school care. As parents with a very busy schedule, we truly feel the time and money invested in training at UFT has been more than worth it. Our children have gained so much more than martial arts skills -- they've learned respect, discipline, confidence, and strong core values. Above all else, the Masters and Grand Master Lee consistently teach students to love, respect, and honor their parents, each other, and others. Teachings like these are rare nowadays. We recently extended both of our daughters' contracts for another two years because they genuinely love being there, and that alone speaks volumes about the environment UFT has created. Thank you to all of the instructors at United Family Taekwondo for your dedication, patience, and hard work. We are truly grateful for everything you do!

Sandi Bryant, the director, and her superior regional director,Hope Anderson are two prejudice and lack luster employees of Cadence Education. I was running late on my birthday 10-24 and was called at 6:06pm by Sandi Bryant. I informed her of my location and that I would arrive shortly. She proceeds speaking to me in a condescending tone stating I need to call if I'm going to be late. I replied agreeing that if I were to be late again I would make sure to call. She responds frantically stating there may not be a next time because my child will be suspended. I asked her why would she be suspended when there's a late fee penalty of $1 per min. This was my 3rd time being late since august... her response was "this shouldn't have happened more than once!" If you are a working mother then you understand this happens occasionally and the last thing you need is a disgruntled employee taking their frustrations out on you because she has to stay late everyday. News flash‼ parents are late sometimes. We are in a populated area where traffic is extreme at times. Where is my grace as a parent?? Especially since I am going to be charged a fee anyway!!! I contacted HOPE ANDERSON who had zero urgency to even respond to my initial complaint. She did not respond UNTIL I THREATENED W/THE MEDIA. She was of no assistance and only further perpetuated the discrimination. She took the side of Sandi instead of actually investigating. I was told my child was withdrawn bc I had been late even though each occurrence was over 30 days from the last and because I had to be "called" for payments. There's no proof that they have EVER called due to a late payment especially when the TADPOLES app SENDS A PAYMENT REMINDER IN THE APP AUTOMATICALLY. Their policy states if no payment by Tuesday the child can not continue. My child NEVER missed a week. So how are those JUSTIFICATIONS for withdrawal?? THIS DAY CARE does NOT CARE ABOUT BLACK AND BROWN CHILDREN. I called CADENCE EDUCATION (headquarters)in Scottsdale's Arizona to make a complaint... No one answered from ANY DEPARTMENT nor did they return my messages. Here is proof that HOPE ANDERSON ONLY RESPONDED WHEN THREATENED WITH MEDIA ATTENTION.
