So proud to have had my kids (2 sons, 2 daughters) enrolled in this school for the last year or so now. Having had just moved to the area at the time, my wife and I wanted to get them started in an afterschool program that was challenging both physically and mentally, which martial arts was at the top of our short list. The instructors and student families here made us feel so welcomed but the intensity and high caliber of their training curriculum was the ultimate deciding factor. For the grown ups there's kickboxing and adult Hapkido classes to take part in, which my wife and I eventually got started with respectively and it's the best work outs either of us have gotten in a group setting anywhere around. Right off the bat, you know everybody here takes what they do very seriously but all know how to cut loose and make it so much fun. It's impossible to convey just how truly epic it is to train with the folks here at Choe's in Gryason. You'll just have to check it out for a couple weeks yourself and got hooked like us, which we're very glad we did! read more

While searching for a martial arts school for my daughter, I found a lot of options and a lot of basic options - however, when we visited Choe's HapKiDo in Grayson, I found the instructors and the program to be anything but basic. The trial class was impressive and went beyond the basic physical drills we expected, expanding to character development, self discipline, personal health, and practical martial arts training - all of which I have discovered are addressed at EVERY class. My daughter loves it here and I developed such an appreciation for the response in my daughter that I joined too! I highly recommend it - my only wish is that I'd found them sooner. read more

I've been taking the kickboxing class here for about three years and the workout never gets stale. All of the instructors, specifically Instructor Dan Wilson, are extremely helpful and motivating. He will never stop pushing you to achieve your fitness goals. Even when you think you've done the best you can do, Dan makes you realize you've only scratched the surface. I am 42 years old and I feel better now than I did in my 20's. If you're looking to incorporate something more challenging into your exercise regimen, definitely give the I Love Kickboxing program at Choe's Hapkido a try. read more

I found ILoveKickboxing when I saw a groupon for $50 for 10 classes and a free pair a gloves. Knowing that I needed to stop making excuses and work to get back in shape I bought the groupon an came to a class on a Saturday morning in June 2013. Despite being nervous about my first class, the instructor and other students were very welcoming and encouraging. In just a few short weeks of attending classes, I was feeling stronger and happier. The fact that I also was more toned and dropped 20 pounds in only 30 months didn't hurt either :) read more

I started I Love Kickboxing at this location almost a month ago, I didn't anticipate on it being this fun. None of the workouts are the same, each night it's something different (which is a great thing) Although it's a "full workout" the instructors are really cool and they push you so that you won't give up. I definitely need the motivation :) Right now I'm attending 3 days a week, but I do plan to make it 5 days a week. read more

I took my son to try it out in hopes that it would help with some of the side effects from his ADHA meds he wasn't sleeping at night and so they had to put him on 2 more meds I was not happy. He loved the class and after only going for a month we are no med free at night and he sleeps better than before. But he also benefits in so many other ways by taking Hapkido he seems to be a much happier child all around. read more
