We are able to apply some of the respect and focus lessons my kids have learned at The Dojo at home as well. We have and will continue to recommend The Dojo to anyone who asks. It's a great place and the kids have lots of fun and learn a lot, too.

He's built up a squad of very technical guys, and the culture he's developed in his gym is one of the best I've seen. Everyone went out of their way to make me feel welcome, and I never felt like I had a target on my back during rolls. Tony trained for years with both Matt Serra (Renzo Gracie) and Alliance when legends like Lucas Lepri were teaching, and it gives him the unique perspective from having seen how two of the top teams in the sport teach and train. We thought he would be interested, so we decided to try this school out after having seen information about them online. The school is now owned by Mr. & Mrs. Evans, who purchased it from the Larys about two years ago. They used to have two locations (this one and one down near Holly Springs) but have decided to close the other location for various reasons. Shortly after my son started taking classes, his (then) two-year-old sister started begging us to let her take classes, because she saw how much fun my son was having. She started their Tiny Tiger program shortly after she turned three, and has loved it ever since. Now, my wife and I have both become sucked in as well and are enjoying going here instead of maintaining the gym membership that I had down in Alpharetta. Mr. Evans is the head instructor and Mrs. Evans generally handles the office side of the business. They do make use of a couple of student instructors, particularly for larger classes. My biggest complaint is that it does seem like the prices are perhaps a little on the high side relative to other schools, but I am not sure how much of that is because of their overhead costs and how much is due to simple choice on their part. Either way, I do feel that the school is a good value for the money.
