Instructor Jarus quickly became my daughter's favorite teacher. I highly recommend you give this place a try. Martial arts has been my saving grace. After having my daughter, I struggled to get back into shape. I joined a gym, but I got bored and had no motivation to keep going. I tried diets, but it was too hard as a groomer, drinking coffee for breakfast, not eating lunch, and then wolfing down an entire day's worth of food in one sitting. My dad signed my daughter up for martial arts classes and eventually, I joined her. I fell in love with it, me. I never have been athletic my entire life! It not only engages me physically, but mentally. I found self confidence that I've never had before. I actually like putting on clothes and I feel good in my skin. I'm 5'7". My goal was 145, I'm at 142 now. The number wasn't as important to me as feeling healthy and I have never felt better! I'm stronger than I ever thought I could be, my flexibility is so much better, my back and my joints don't hurt as much anymore, and I'm not drained of energy after a day at work. They scarred my 3 year old by chasing him while slapping the ground to make loud claps to try and get him to go faster. He was the slowest in the class because he was the YOUNGEST AND SMALLEST. He literally immediately stopped in his tracks and from that moment on hated every second and cried anytime "karate" was mentioned. Every time I would bring him it felt like I was torturing him because he had legit fear and I could see it in his eyes. When I said I was canceling his they said they understood and it was fine but then continued to charge me. Master Miron said he would reimburse and make sure it was canceled but never did. Then my oldest wanted to stop because his brother wasn't doing it with him and I wasn't about to force a 4 year old to do something he truly didn't want to do. When I told them I wanted to cancel both o was suddenly told "oh, you actually signed the 12 month agreement and are obligated to pay for the whole year." EXCUSE ME?! they have my signature on a piece of paper that I was falsely informed of while they took advantage of me having an 18 month old with me as well, always busy and never able to sit and talk about any contract. Never in a million years would I sign a 3 and 4 year old up for a 12 month contracted class. THEY ARE THE WORST. ONLY SEND YOUR ENEMIES HERE.
