The karaoke bar was quite small. It was empty when we visited on a Sunday night. The karaoke room felt cramped for a group of 5-6 people, leaving barely any space to move around or dance. They had a menu with food and drinks, though I didn't order anything. My friend and her group ordered some drinks. One nice perk was that the venue allowed outside food and drinks, which worked out perfectly for me since I wasn't hungry or in the mood to drink. Karaoke Boho orchard was able to accommodate a last minute reservation for 6 people which was good. The venue is pretty large, with multiple floors (I counted about 3). When you walk in, the main bar and public karaoke area is packed with people, which makes it hard to walk to the host area. You have to check in at the side of the bar which isn't great because there's hardly any room to stand. We were brought to our room which was located downstairs. There are no elevators but there are karaoke rooms on the main floor that don't require stairs. Staff were haphazardly walking around and rushing, and one staff member turned a corner so fast, he full on crashed into my boyfriend, knocking him to the other side of the wall. The room we were given for 6 was a little too small and we were squished together. They have two large books of songs or you can scan a QR code to view the songs digitally. You have to key them in on a keypad to put them in the queue. I prefer the karaoke venues that have an iPad for use. Service was attentive. You have to push a button to call them and they come pretty quick. Friends had some drinks but we did not have any food. People generally liked the drinks. The karaoke equipment left much to be desired. One microphone hardly worked and you had to basically hold it in a certain position to get sound out. The volume on some of the songs was so low that you could barely hear the instrumentals when you were singing. The soundproofing (or lack thereof) between rooms is bad. We could hear other rooms fully singing next to us, and it felt like they were basically in the room with us. The temperature of the room was freezing. It was 40 degrees outside but they had the AC blasting like it was a 99 degree summer day. We asked them to raise the temperature but it never happened. The rooms do not have individual temperature control. There are bathrooms upstairs and downstairs and they're all disgusting. There's a sink outside the two bathrooms downstairs which someone unfortunately threw up in, and no one had cleaned it the entire time we were there. Floors all around were sticky and the staff just generally seemed overwhelmed. 3 stars because they had a large selection of songs and we accomplished what we wanted to do - sing karaoke for 2 hours and have fun. They don't bring you the check in the private room, so you have to physically go upstairs and close out (they keep your credit card and ID when you check in). But the problem is, the check in/check out area is packed with dozens of people singing public karaoke, checking in and also checking out, so you wind up standing there for 10 minutes just to pay. You can barely hear the staff over the public karaoke that's taking place 2 ft away. We came here because it was close to the restaurant where we had dinner, but I prefer the karaoke spots uptown in Koreatown to this one. Those are a little less chaotic/noisy and more organized. read more

We were a party of 18 excited to karaoke! Unfortunately, Karaoke Boho was a disappointment : ( First, they insisted we book the VIP room, which is $230/hr. It was not a VIP room, it's the same as all the other rooms, just barely fit our party of 18 even though the website says it accommodates up to 35 people, and it was dingy and bare with bad lighting. Second, the song selection is mid and some songs have a max volume that's really quiet. Third, we were overcharged. Their website states they charge 18% gratuity but they charged 21% gratuity and they added undisclosed credit card fees that didn't even appear on the bill I signed. I only discovered the fee after checking my credit card statement. This place is way shady and nasty. read more

This is a super fun spot for karaoke! They have public karaoke in the bar at the front and plenty of rooms in the back and downstairs. They serve food and drinks to the rooms - including beers, wines, spirits, cocktails etc. What I like about Boho service is that they charge precisely by the minute, not an hour minimum. read more

We were quoted $230/hour to switch into a larger private karaoke room. After about two hours, staff presented a bill of roughly $750, citing mandatory gratuity and credit card processing fees applied to the room charge, not just drinks. None of these fees were disclosed when the price was quoted. In addition, we were required to purchase two appetizers, which were added to the bill despite this requirement not being listed on the website or disclosed in advance. All of these charges were only introduced after the session ended. When I pushed back, I was told the charges were mandatory and payment was required immediately. I felt pressured to pay just to leave and ended up paying significantly more than the quoted rate. If you come here, get all pricing and minimum spend requirements in writing upfront, including any mandatory food purchases and fees applied to the room itself. read more

(cross posted) do not go here, they scammed my friends and me in a variety of ways and refused to remedy it!! 1) karaoke rooms were supposed to be $5/hour per person during happy hour (6-8pm) my friends and i were there from 6-9pm but we were charged the full non happy hour price for all 3 hours despite the first 2 being happy hour. 2) we ordered happy hour cocktails and beers but the happy hour price for these were also not honored 3) we were charged an automatic gratuity of 18% on the room charge despite the website saying the room was a flat fee + we had confirmed with the employee that gratuity would just be on the drinks 4) we repeatedly tried to contact the establishment to correct the overcharges and were ghosted so all in all we were overcharged AT LEAST $78 read more

This spot has everything I would want in a karaoke bar. First of all, you've got options-- you can belt it out in a private room with your friends, or take the stage in the public bar area out front and show the whole place what you've got. We decided to go with a classic private room. The room was clean, which I cannot say the same for about most lower Manhattan karaoke bars. They also have a massive song selection featured in a book with each page covered in binder plastic covering, just the way it's supposed to be. I'm glad they haven't joined some of the newer karaoke spots in forgoing this book. I don't know how I'm supposed to come up with all my karaoke songs for the night without any reference. After a few beers, my ability to recall song titles is dulled, but the same beers also give me the ability to recall song lyrics impressively well, not to mention giving me a boost of confidence to sing. Lowkey wack--should've just gone to K-Town instead. The place did the job, but it's not great. The rooms are small and super loud, which can be a bit much. They serve alcohol, so there's that, but a lot of the songs didn't work, which was super frustrating. Plus, one of the mics wasn't working for a while too. On top of all that, it's pretty expensive for what it is. If you're gonna do karaoke, I'd honestly recommend going somewhere else. This spot is just not it. read more

One free shot to check in here, which is nice. They're open 4pm-4am, so you can sing your heart out all night. It's sorta seedy and crazy loud inside, which is to be expected. They have smaller karaoke rooms that fit about 2-4 people, but if you have a larger party, you should book the two larger rooms upstairs, which fit about a dozen people comfortably. The outer room (the bar section) is almost always crowded and booming. They had most popular American songs including some as new as last year's (though I couldn't find Disney's "I'll make a man out of you", sadly). My biggest gripe was that the karaoke machines were quite janky and didn't work properly. We had to ask the staff to recharge the mics twice, and when both times failed, they needed to switch them out, but didn't give us any extra time (it took about 15-20min). Their karaoke technology is new enough that you can check and request songs in a queue on their online selections via a QR code. You can also order food and drinks off their online menu. read more

I was called hate slurs over and over, pushed and harassed until finally was punched in the face for wearing a crop top and glitter. Not a very good experience. I booked a private room for 4-6 people a day or two before our event for 10:30 on a Saturday night. They require a $40 deposit for the reservation. No problem! Someone on staff called me day of to confirm our time. Great! After our dinner in Chinatown, we walked over for karaoke. We got there at 10:33. It was hard to get anyone's attention about our reservation. When I did, one of the staff members asked me if I had received a call from them. I hadn't noticed a call but saw that they had tried to call me at 10:29. The staff member told me that they tried to get in touch me to see what our status was and that because we did not answer and were not there at 10:30 that they had given the room to another group. We were not even 5 minutes later and had paid a non-refundable deposit. The staff member told me that they'd have another room ready for us in a few minutes. I found this interaction to be really strange. When they finally escorted us to the room, we immediately had technical issues. The speakers did not work and could not be turned up. The second mic did not work. We called for help about 6 times and the guy was really friendly but could not solve the issue. At one point one of our speakers started playing music from another room. After about an hour, they brought us to a second room. The sound was better but the second mic still didn't work. When we paid the bill, I was given $50 off (the price of the room for the first hour) but I still found it to be very expensive overall given the experience. read more

We had a private room for my sister in law's birthday. Friday night reservations and we had the top front room. We did the $20 an hr per person package which on their site includes one drink, however when I had asked our server (which I think was the manager) he said no drinks were included. So a bit confused there?! It's a cash bar, but if you have a private room you can pay cash/card, but has to be one tab. ATM on site. Music selections were def updated. They have the QR code to search on your phone for songs which I thought was super helpful and quick. Food was ehh..most things our party ordered were fries and fried chicken bites. Nothing to brag about really. It gets super hot in the private rooms which sucked..def needed more ventilation.
