Went to Karahi corner today (Sunday) and when we get there around 1 pm they say we had a busy weekend so the goat meat has not arrived for today's meal preparation. They asked us come back in an hour. We get back at 3 pm and sit down to order, the server said no grill items available because we have had a busy weekend. We end up ordering chicken karahi, mutton karahi, seekh kabob roll, (Bihari kabob roll ordered but again not available) Chicken nuggets, chicken tenders and naan. Food was really good but I am giving three stars because many items on the menu were not available. If we are coming to a restaurant, we would like to have the entire menu available to order. Not enough food inventory on hand.

We absolutely love this place. The place is homely and the food is out of this world. Love the fact the food is so close to Indian/Pakistani street food which basically means DELICIOUS!!! Must have Chicken Tikka, Chicken Karahi, Daal Fry, Qeema and naan are pretty good (not too chewy or dry). MUST TRY!!!

Spicy fries appetizer. Fries with powder and ketchup packets.

I had high hopes for this restaurant after my initial visit. But subsequent trips didn't satisfy as much and every time it was hard to look past the exuberant amount of oil used, small quantities of meat and other deficiencies. There is much working against their best efforts and if they could afford to work through these circumstances they could come out becoming one of the better restaurant options on Devon. One of their greatest details is that they prepare food fresh every time. A detail many restaurants and diners of Indian and Pakistani origin on Devon are lacking. What holds them back? Unruly hygiene was an issue that repeated itself for me. On a subsequent visit the waiter's hygiene was foul. I'm sure he was working a long shift but if your body is stinking that bad, go home and take a damn bath or cover up dude! His armpits were so foul I lost my appetite. The kind of musty that causes your nose to wrinkle and lips to curl. I got up from the table and used a menu to fan the area. One would have thought I was trying to land a biplane. If you are an employee of a restaurant with armpits that wreak you should not be near dining customers. People want to feel good and breathe friendly when eating. On my last trip I found a hair in my karahi which I brought up with the waiter. I had already started eating from the wok and then noticed a long curly hair. Which I figure is probably a beard hair. (Not many people are aware, alike products used to clean head hair there is something called beard wash. If you cook and got a beard, you need some damn beard wash. One has to wonder how clean someone's beard is especially if they're preparing foods. Beyond that, if you've got a big ass beard, you need a damn beard net!!) Anyway, I pointed it out to the waiter. I get it, it happens. But when you know your beard or other hairs may fall into your cooking do something to stop it or pull that shit out of the wok / plate before presenting it. It's disgusted me to a point where I find it hard to return. Some of their methods just don't make sense. ie If you fried French fries and seasoned them why would you drop packets of ketchup on the top of the fries and serve it like that??? Gross. Food handling & hygiene classes could go a long way for much of their staff including their main chef. Last thing.. for goodness sakes could you families please pay attention to your children??!! Kids often run a muck in here. On one visit a small 3 year old girl took off out of the restaurant and started crossing the street. My cousin and I were yelling out loud for someone to pay attention and grab the damn kid. Ridiculous.

A friend highly recommended this place - and boy, was he right! We came on a whim, and ordered three separate dishes, and three different kinds of breads (naans), and not a single thing could I find any problem with. We ordered the White Chicken Karahi, which was the highlight of the meal. Seasoned perfectly with black pepper, the meat was perfect, with a beautiful creamy and sumptuous curry surrounding it. Half of the Lamb Karahi was enough for 4 of us, and was another excellent dish. Often, lamb is cooked in a way that the meat is chewy or over cooked, but this meat was soft and unctuous - an absolute delight. We also ordered the Chapli Kabab (both chicken and beef, and although I didn't eat the beef Kabab) which were soooo good. This is the closest I've gotten to eating Chapli Kabab on the streets of Peshawar! Wow! Mind blowing! Although the paratha was too heavy for me, it was lauded by all others at the tables. The Naan and the Garlic Naan were just PERFECT. I don't even like garlic naan and I gobbled this stuff down. I don't drink chai, but the other 3 at the table all got Chai to complete their meal, and each of three had nothing but absolute praises for the chai!

Really happy that my parents introduced me to Karahi Corner - one of the co-founders, Shiraz Najam, walked us through a set of highly recommended staples. Naturally, we ordered the Karahi Chicken and Karahi Gosht, daal, bindi, and plenty of naan and parathas. Both Karahi dishes were solid. The fact that they're cooked in a Karahi (wok) and presented in one conveys an homage of sorts to the cultural icon. We had them prepared spicy so the yogurt on the side was helpful to cool down the intensity. We wrapped up the meal with Firni (rice pudding) which was the perfect way to round out a rich meal. One point to note is that the meat is never frozen and the ingredients are fresh. The kitchen is on full display as well so the venue is open and has a communal vibe. I've already recommended Karahi Corner to several friends and everyone has come back with positive feedback.

Great customer service and delicious food. Love the ambience too. Daal fry, Chicken Karahi and Tikka are some of my favourites. Highly recommended

Totally underwhelming. Not to mention dirty. I will say the waiters are very kind. The food was just not good.

Solid spot for a good mix grill - the meat is all tender, well marinated, and balanced seasoning…read more We got the lamb chops and the Bihari kabob (beef) which were both tasty. The kulchas we got to pare with them were really fresh and tasty too. The beef nihari on the other hand was nothing to write home about. The beef was tender; however, the masala in the dish was off (too much garam masala). Ample seating for big parties, be prepared for a wait during weekday dinner time.

We ordered a lot of food including goat biryani, chicken Kashmiri and highway goat Karahi. To our surprise goat Karahi was really skimpy quantity and when we started eating it almost90% of the goat pieces were all bones with very little flesh remain it. Together with the skimpy quantity and all boney pieces we were very disappointed. Chicken Kashmiri was of pretty good taste. We ordered a card different naans and some were left uncooked. Goat biryani was simply terrible and very very mediocre to bad taste. We also ordered a chicken kabob and they were so undercooked that we had to call them and we asked about it. They said they would replace it but we were not interested because we were so disappointed. Overall we are very disappointed Go try other options of similar food all around Devon Ave. Bundoo Khan is way overrated and we will not be going there again.
