They've been in business for years, and it shows--not just in their experience, but in how they treat people. I brought my car in expecting a major repair, and instead of upselling me, they walked me through what actually needed to be done and what didn't. That kind of honesty is hard to come by. They took the time to explain everything clearly, never pressured me, and made sure I understood my options. In a time where it feels like everything is about squeezing out more money, this shop stands out for doing the opposite--being fair, transparent, and genuinely looking out for their customers. In at 8am ... shortly after a call with um, ya need an $800 hose, um ya no we can't provide a detailed estimate.... um, yeah parts take 6-8 days. Honestly, I lost any confidence this business had the skills to provide this service. I took the vehicle elsewhere ... there diagnosis completely different with a written estimate detailing the condenser as the worn part, the part was ordered and installed in less than 3 hours at about half the cost, with a written warranty. I went back to American Pride Automotive, with the rusted worn condenser and asked for a refund of the $276. misdiagnosis and repair that they claimed to have provided and the Service Director could not for the life of him admit to his businesses failure. So, I gave him and honest chance to save a customer and instead has lost any chance at our business, but for $276 he's bought a lifetime of bad advertising for American Pride Automotive to all our family and friends. I looked at the other reviews for this business and see it's a pattern.... that's a shame.

Firestone is my go-to tire place and so I ordered two replacement tires. When the lead technician, JR, went to install these new tires he also measured my existing tires, discovering that they were in very good shape and would pass inspection. And then he did the right thing: He called me to make sure I wanted tires that I didn't necessarily need. I had my car re-inspected at Firestone, passed with the existing tires, and it's the best $20 I've ever spent. Now Firestone will be my go-to for other services as well.
