My 1st review of 2018 has to go to Kapsner Chiropractor Center.. kudos to Dr. Snow & his awesome support staff! I was in a car accident and had horrible back & neck pain. The pain was really affecting me & my daily life so I can't tell you how much relief Dr. Snow gave me starting that very 1st visit. Dr. Snow is awesome at what he does & truly cares for his patients. He has hands of an angel & I wish I could just bottle him up & take him home w/ me!! ;)) I also have to give Kudos to the entire staff..they all work so well w/ each other & they really honor your time. I'm not knowledgeable about chiropractic centers but I was in a three vehicle collision and I was in the front. Some other place didn't do auto vehicle collision insurance but this place does! I didn't feel much damage, just a slight soreness but was advised to go to the chiropractor from my dad. They always had me feeling so new and fresh after each visit! I've never felt my bones crack before and it's actually really cool. The staff there is extremely kind and they know you by name, which is very welcoming. I definitely recommend it! Even if you've never been in an accident, everyone should visit the chiropractor because I'm sure we all sleep or stand weirdly, and you should definitely visit here. read more

Having been the lead car in a 3 car accident on 183, I had whiplash that caused a lot of neck and back pain and headaches. Dr. Snow not only answered the phone the day I called, but set up an appointment for later that day. It took very little time to start feeling much better. Over a year later, I'm on maintenance and make it a point to make my monthly appointments. He has also worked on an old weight lifting injury with my wrist and works wonders. He and his staff, with their trigger point therapy, keep me running in a pain-free state. Dr. Snow and his staff are caring and super easy to work with. You may go a lot at first, which is standard for chiropractic services, they are efficient and cautious in what they do. Bedside manner is spot on. Came in and could barely walk due to very bad pain in my lower back. I am known to be super anxious anytime I have to see a doctor but the staff here was so friendly and seemed to really care about their patients that I realized my anxiety was not so bad. When I met Doctor Snow he took his time with me and answered every question my partner and I had. He said he would get some x rays and would have a plan by the next visit. When I came back for my next visit doc Snow took his time and went over my x rays with me making sure I understood everything he was saying. By the time I left his office we had a 4 week plan to get me out pain and back on my normal routine again which is exactly what happened. Dr. Snow and everyone that works in his office are awesome ! They really do care about their patients and it definitely shows. I am doing so much better since my first visit and think that if it was not for Dr. Snow and his staff I probably would of had to have back surgery. I referred my partner to Dr, Snow as she was having issues with her neck and shoulder and she feels the same way I do. I would recommend all my family and friends to see Dr. Snow if they had any back or neck issues. Dr. Snow is a great and very competent chiropractor. I wanted to see a chiropractor because of pain in my upper back that was occurring while I was practicing aerial silks. I have to be honest and say that I was very skeptical that seeing a chiropractor would work, and I remained skeptical for the first couple of months of seeing Dr. Snow, as my progress was so slow. However, after seeing him for 6+ months (I now only go once per month on a "maintenance" schedule) I can definitely say that Dr. Snow significantly helped to relieve my back pain. I'm very pleased with his work and dedication, the friendly office staff, and overall professionalism of the practice. I have only seen one other chiropractor previous to Dr. Snow, and I must note that the difference between the two is night and day. The chiropractor I saw a couple of years before felt almost scammy in the way that they pressured me to go on costly maintenance plans after my insurance-backed allotted appointments ran out. In addition, I didn't get the relief that I experienced with Dr. Snow. Dr. Snow's adjustment fee is very reasonable, and affordable to keep up 1-2 times per month when you are on maintenance, plus there is no pressure to do so. He's a truly dedicated chiropractor who you can trust. read more

It's never a good sign when your chiropractor says, "You should really go to the ER," but it's also a sign that they're really looking out for you. A couple weeks ago, I threw out my back (for the second time) due to this righteous dance move I was doing at a benefit for a burning orphanage. *It was totally not from a coughing fit, because that would be lame. Like "old man" lame. The next morning, I called Kapsner and asked if they took walk-ins. They told me yes, but I had to get there before they closed at noon (Tues and Fri, btw). It was 11:30. So, I crawled to my car, made it there, and stepped out to find I couldn't stand at all. Dr. Snow came out IN THE RAIN to fetch me and practically carried me in. After treating me multiple ways, he insisted that I call a friend to take me to the hospital, since I still couldn't walk. Good call. Since then, I've been going regularly, and everyone greets me with smiles and positivity. Dr. Snow is great at communicating and making sure we work toward this never happening again. His staff is full of happy people who help me out with therapudic exercises to build back my core strength. Follow-up review!! I've been coming here for about 8 sessions now over the past month and a half. Now that I've gotten to know the staff by name, they only get better and better. I want to be BFFs with all of the therapists and go to happy hour with them. And every other patient I've ever seen in the therapy room has been smiley and nice - wow, how often does that happen? Dr. Snow is always cheerful, jolly, and explains everything he's going to do before he does it so there's no trepidation and worry involved. (always nice when someone's about to perform a move reminiscent of Jack Bauer snapping a terrorist's neck). I'm happy to report that my neck is still nice and intact, by the way. They're great, and incredibly flexible with my hectic work schedule, and ALL started calling me by name by my second visit. For a clinic that sees close to 100 patients a day, that's really impressive to me, and a true sign of a place that really cares. I almost forgot to mention that I can sleep with absolutely no neck or back pain now - something that used to require ice packs and ibuoprofen and careful placement of pillows (and even a few nights of sleeping flat on the floor). I suppose that was the point of writing this review in the first place, but I lost track of that goal because I was too busy telling you about my new friends. Basically, if you live anywhere in the area, don't go anywhere else. Oh, and if you have a hard time finding the clinic, it's located right next to the nice new yoga studio in town, Yoga Con Amor. My wife and I were both patients of Dr Snow for five years until we moved out of Austin last year. Jeff Snow is everything that a professional healthcare provider should be. He cares about his patients wellbeing and will do whatever is necessary to make sure you are satisfied with your care. Many times this would mean me coming in at the spur of the moment to fix whatever I had hurt that day. Dr Snow would always gladly see me and fix my issues despite having a large number of scheduled patients already there. He's a good listener and very observant of a person's posture, gait, and tendencies. Basically he can tell what's wrong with you just by looking. I walked or limped into his office in large amounts of pain many times and always left feeling better. He will also take the time to show you your x-rays and explain why you are feeling the symptoms you are feeling. For me, knowing the root cause is very important, and Dr Snow addressed my needs. He is an athlete himself, so he understands the mentality of wanting to continue your passions rather than just telling you to stop what you love. His staff is always very friendly and funny. I always felt like I was visiting old friends whenever I came. I think the biggest testament to Dr Snow's practice is how much I've missed it over the last year. I don't know what the previous negative review was about. Dr. Michael Snow at Kapsner Chiropractic is wonderful. I have seen him for various back problems and aches. Some have been minor and some major over the last 4 years. I have trusted him and his friendly staff with both of my children as well for routine adjustments and consultations after injuries. He is knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. The exercises, therapy, massage, and trigger-point have all been helpful. They'll work with your insurance and if you are not insured they will help find a way to treat you at fair rates. I highly recommend this practice. I was looking forward to seeing Dr. Snow for the first time today but I unfortunately didn't get the chance. I had an appt. at 10:30am and called to ask if they had an earlier appt. The receptionist said yes, they had an immediate opening so I headed over. I wasn't able to be gone too long from work so I had all the new patient paperwork already filled out. When I got there I asked again how long it would be before I could see the doctor (I was not able to stay away from work for very long so I just wanted to make sure) and she said he was available now, they just had to get me in a room. When I got in the room someone came in and asked me a series of questions I had already answered in the patient paperwork. She then left and I quickly realized there was no air conditioning or ventilation in this room. It was very hot and I started to feel sick after about 10 minutes, as I was in pain also (the reason I was there!). I went out to the air-conditioned lobby to sit and asked again when the doctor would be able to see me and she said he was with a patient but it would be soon. That was confusing as I had been told on the phone and when I got there he was available. I waited in the lobby another 10 minutes or so but by that time I had been there for 45 minutes without seeing the doctor. It was a few minutes past the time of my original appt. at 10:30a when I decided to just leave as I had to get back to work. Very disappointing :( read more

I was in an auto accident and referred to Dr. Snow. I just moved here and was very anxious and hesitant about finding a new chiropractor as I was with my Doctor in the DFW area for 14 years. I am not trusting when it comes to my neck and low back being adjusted due to injury and pain. Dr. Snow and his staff have turned out to be a blessing in my life. The clinic has the best energy! I have "never" seen a positive work environment like this. Working with Dr. Snow has made a very noticeable improvement for me, and I'm only about 1/3 of the way through my treatment program. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for immediate and lasting relief from their back pain, hip misalignment, or chronic reinjury issues such as I've had. For me, the story starts about 12 years ago when I was a teenager. One day I somehow managed to tear both of my rectus femoris (quadriceps) muscles while running at the beach, and despite a full year of intensive physical therapy, I didn't fully recover. My gait changed as a result and led to several issues with my hip alignment. For the remainder of high school, all through college, and ever since I wasn't able to sprint at 100% effort without re-straining those muscles. About a year ago I started seeing an ART specialist in Solana Beach, CA who was very helpful as well. By breaking up a lot of the scar tissue in my muscles and allowing them to return to their normal range of motion, I was able to increase my workout intensity almost immediately. I'd also recommend ART to just about anyone as something to at least try, because it made a difference for me. What's been so amazing is how much more improvement I've noticed, though, from my recent treatment with Dr. Snow. The combination of adjustments, trigger point therapy, and specific exercises/stretches has allowed me to return to what I feel is a completely normal gait again. Also, the significant low back pain I was experiencing from sitting down all day at work is subsiding and is all but gone. When I walked (or more accurately limped) into Dr. Snow's office, I was in so much pain I couldn't sit upright in a chair or walk for more than 30 seconds without having to lie flat on my back. I was only getting 3-4 hours of sleep per night, and when I was awake the only thing I could think about was the excruciating pain. Fast forward three weeks, about 75-percent of the way through my PT, and the pain is almost entirely gone. Dr. Snow and his staff have worked wonders, and I can't recommend them highly enough. I was hesitant about going to a chiropractor. My back has been hurting for almost a year now due to my office job, traveling, and working out. I decided to give it a go and I am super happy I found a great practice in Austin. Dr. Michael Snow is pretty awesome, easy to talk with, and knowledgeable about posture/spinal. The front staff is super friendly (on the phone and in person). Big plus about Kapsner Chiropractic Center is that they have a lot of locations for you to choose from. In early January I was involved in a rear end collision. The woman behind me was so involved with texting and driving that she failed to notice the red light that a group of us were all stopped for. Ever since then, I have been under the care of Dr.Snow at Kaspner Chiro on Burnet Road. From the very beginning the team at Kaspner was on my side. They took xrays of my neck and back, requested MRI that my insurance company would not approve, and continuously communicated with me about the process. The office staff always greets me with a smile, and when I miss an appointment Lauren always calls me to make sure that everything is ok! My injury is getting better every session. I've been seeing Dr. Snow at the Burnet Road location for a little more than 4 years now. Even though I'm in "maintenance mode", I keep getting healthier and keep seeing improvement in my strength, range of motion, and quality of movement. I'm doing other stuff to actively improve these things, too, but the chiropractic care that I'm receiving is an important contributing factor. Dr. Snow and his team are friendly, professional, and caring. They have a holistic approach to health -- diagnosing, addressing, and correcting causal factors rather than merely alleviating symptoms. I love the fact that they integrate physical therapy into the practice. Over the years, the PT team has given me stretches and strengthening exercises that have helped correct my posture and improve the functionality of my movement. They also use trigger point release therapy and active release therapy when necessary to facilitate recovery and functional improvements. Last year, I recommended a friend with a chronic shoulder injury, and he was thrilled with the quality of care and the improvement in his shoulder. I LOVE THIS PLACE & EVERYONE IN IT!!! My boyfriend went here after his accident and recommended it to me when I got into an accident a year after. I was having neck and upper back issues and went here Aug.-Dec. 2012. I went to Austin Regional Clinic to get checked out and they told me that I was perfectly fine, I asked if I had whiplash and they told me no. I still wasn't feeling well so I came here. Dr. Snow saw me, we took an X-ray of my back and turned out I was super screwed up and had whiplash! Everyone is so professional and personable while keeping a great sense of humor. It has a very positive and welcoming energy that is contagious. Dr. Snow and his team have done wonders for both my boyfriend and I, and they truly care about their guests. I did have a problem, however, and that's what they billed my insurance company. They charged my insurance company for therapy and massages that I did not receive. This is my first experience with chiropractics. I have had recurring back pain for the past 7 years due to spine curvature. My personal trainer recommended Dr. Snow to help me alleviate my recurring pain. His office was extremely professional, he's always on time, and he doesn't recommend unnecessary visits. Now I'm able to do more activities without fear of my back giving out. I'll be honest and say I wasn't completely sold on the efficacy of chiropractics when I first started, but the difference in my back has been remarkable. Dr Snow is great but the office is ran very poorly. On several instances I didn't get seen until 30 mins after my scheduled apt. It seems that they schedule as many patients as possible and get to them one at a time without regard to their appointment time or their schedule. What is the point of making a 815 am or 830am appointment if you won't be seen until 9am? This causes issues with getting to work on time given they don't open until 815am. I will say that the prices are very reasonable especially for the decompression machine. Outside of not maintaining a schedule based on appointment time, I think the service is great. read more

There are three Kapsner clinics in Austin, but I like this one the best. After having some guy T-Bone me off 35, my back and neck were in some bad shape. Dr. Snow did an excellent job of diagnosing my issues, isolating the areas in need of treatment and after a series of treatments was at 100 percent. Every time, he remarked how we were making progress, which eventually led to "Well, if you're not experiencing any more pain, then everything looks good and I recommend we put you down for an 'as needed basis'" just like Patrick R. heard. Guy doesn't seem to try to extend it on and on and treat unnecessarily just for the sake of doing it. Dr. Snow seems like a very personable guy and professional. Obvious that the guy cares about helping his patients get back to a healthy state. The office staff was very nice. Dealt with a woman named Lauren who was very friendly as well. :) Best part of it all was that the other guy's insurance covered it all. But I'd go back even if it didn't. Felt great. read more

I'm recovering from chemo and hormone deprivation treatments I was given to slow/stave off the advanced, metastatic prostate cancer I was diagnosed with in 2014. I'm still here! But the chemo gave me a wretched case of neuropathy in my limbs/hands/feet. I'm about 8 visits in and the constant pain is more tolerable by the week. I have been going to Dr. Snow since January 2015 after having horrible migraines and headaches that made it impossible for me to open my eyes. After a mess up with my insurance I was not able to visit Dr. Snow for 4 months this year. I started getting my severe migraines again and knew I needed to get back to see Doc. After having one adjustment in mid-August I haven't had a headache or migraine since. Everyone at this location is extremely nice and helpful! Was very impressed with this office. They didn't try to "sell" me services I didn't need and were VERY friendly and professional. Had a back pain after tweaking it washing the car one day, so I went in for an adjustment and pressure point massage. I first learned about Kapsner Chiropractic Centers when they attended a health fair at my work. I was immediately impressed because their massage therapist informed me that Kapsner offers a trigger point massage before adjustments. I have been to numerous chiropractors over the years and have never been offered this service. I have some problems with hip alignment and experience moderate to severe pain at times. I currently visit the Round Rock location and have never had a problem getting a last minute appointment when I am experiencing an episode. The staff is always very friendly and Dr. Schiffer has by far provided me the best experience in my many years of chiropractic treatment. He always explains to me what is out of alignment and gives me advice on how to keep myself healthy and pain free. I would highly recommend Dr. Schiffer. read more

Dr. Snow is the man. Super friendly, caring and knowledgable. I've been coming here for over two months for spine and rotator cuff issues and started seeing results within the first few physical therapy sessions. Prior to me leaving town for the holidays, Dr Snow offered to see me for an extra adjustment the morning before my flight. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Dr Snow went out of his way to get me several free sessions and made sure I was only billed a nominal amount for my first 12 sessions. Prior to coming here I was a bit of a skeptic regarding chiropractors, but now I'm a firm believer in how much a good one can improve your quality of life. I started having left lower back pain 3 days ago. I was hoping for it to go away on its own but it just got worse that I had to call in sick at work this morning. I called Kaspner Chiropractic this morning and was told I can be seen in 2 hours so off I went. I was seen by Dr. Snow who examined me and then did adjustments which resulted to immediate improvement. I trusted my intuition, went with my gut and I am blessed to have found this group. 1. The staff is phenomenal. I have never walked in and felt any negativity. All the girls are smiling and genuinely kind and caring. 2. When I leave I feel more positive, hopeful and usually laughing because the staff are happy to be there and it shows. 3.
