Great vibe, great ppl Clean environment Barber "Ram" did great. I really love my haircut. Definitely recommend read more

Go somewhere else!!! Asked for just a haircut, dude spent an HOUR fading up just the sides of my head for it be all UNEVEN, next thing i know they are trimming my beard & mustache. Gave me a pencil thing mustache messed up my beard, continue to give me full treatment, DID NOT ASK FOR IT. Saw everyone else walking out with messed up fades. More than half of the barbers there are NOT experienced & if they are then thats just sad work ethic. NEVER coming back here read more

Been going to Kane's for over four years now. First at the original spot on E 12th, next at the temporary site on Chicon, and finally at the current store on Airport. Service has been excellent at each location (shoutout Meach). Glad to make this a part of my routine. read more

Got a fresh cut from Meach. You know it's a good fade when you walk around the office and co-workers ask who did you fade. But you can't really go wrong with any of the Barbers here. Whenever Meach isn't there, I am more than comfortable getting a cut from another Barber without fear of a drop in quality. 10/10 would recommend. read more

If you have length to ur hair don't come here, none of the barbers can work with hair that has length. They completely messed up my flow. The cut was choppy, no layering, and the fade was half assed. The guy who worked with me was talking to his friends more than half of the time I was there. Wish I could give a lower rating. read more

I have two 16 year old sons with two different types of hair and have taken them everywhere to get a hair cut without much success. Kane's was different: they were kind, helpful, and did a fantastic job on my boys' hair! Even though I was a women in a barbershop room full of guys they made me feel totally welcome and comfortable. We finally found a place that we will be going to for years, grateful we found them. read more

Went here as a walk-in. Tons of awesome fades coming in and out during my time there. Unfortunately that was not the case for me. I sat there for an hour and felt like nothing was really done. The back of my head is uneven and i feel like I wasted my time. I just paid and left. This is no reflection on the shop as a whole because most of the staff was doing some really amazing work in very little time. Will update after someone reaches out to me read more

If you want to look like a crackhead, I highly recommend. Guy gave me a reverse Lebron James. Deleted my neckline by more than an inch. It looks ridiculous. Had to go to another barbershop so they could fix it. New barber didn't Charge me bc he said it looks like Stevie wonder cut my hair. read more

Visiting from LA and these guys did the job so much better than expected and made me look absolutely PRISTINE. Definitely would come back again for a cut if I ever visit again. No hesitations bout that. Walk Ins and appointments both accepted and friendly vibes read more

I've been looking for a barber for quite some time now and was definitely tired of going all the way off burnet to get my kiddos hair cut. Meach is one heck of a barber! I was standing over him to make sure he was cutting my son's hair exactly the way I asked and he exceeded my expectations. Sometimes I joke with my boys as if I'm going to take them somewhere else to get their haircuts and they practically beg me to let Meach cut them. Haha. Any who, the other barbers were good as well from what I saw. The owner's work was pretty darn good and there was another guy (short Hispanic guy) to the right of Meach that was doing a pretty good job also. All in all I'm a very satisfied mom and my sons are very satisfied customers haha:) read more

I'd give them 0 stars if I could. Ike messed my hair up so damn bad I had to go get it redone at another shop. There was scabs left on my face from him pressing so hard with the clippers, he burned my scalp with scalding hot water when washing my hair. If you're white don't come here they're racist as hell. Should be shut down. Fuck this place read more

I have been going to Kane's for a couple of months and have been very impressed with the quality of my cuts. Jay is my barber and he is very consistent. I never have to worry about getting a bad haircut and he takes instruction well as far as the particular way I like my hair to be cut. I would highly recommend Jay or any of the barbers in the shop - they all do good work. They also have a parking lot directly behind the shop, so parking is never an issue. I am happy for these guys and glad they are on 12th Street. read more

We just moved up to Austin in May, and I have been searching for a barber shop for my boys and me. J'Rod was recommended to me from my coworker. He's originally from Lockhart. I am so glad to have found J'Rod. He is truly a master of his craft. His bald fades are super tight, and he can cut all different types of hair. Appointments are easy to schedule. The shop is super clean and has a great atmosphere. This is my spot. read more

I was looking for a Barber for my son since moving here from New Orleans. Found this place on Yelp. Called and made an appointment. Arrived no wait. Very convenient, clean, great atmosphere. Demeartric did an outstanding job on my son's cut. Definitely will be back. read more

I've been to Meach twice for my undercut and he does not disappoint always get compliments when I go to him and the price is great!

Got an amazing cut with Jose! Would recommend to anyone. Very friendly, great vibes, and they hype you up when you've got that fresh fade!

Great experience going into the shop for the first time! Honestly, I'd say this is the best shop in town based on what I've experienced from other shops in town. Keep doing what y'all are doing! Edit: I wanted to add that Demeatric was my barber and I can not recommend him enough. Great dude doing great work. read more

Got a shave done by Juan. He did a great job. Came out exactly as I asked and he took great care in his work. Friendly, quality work, professional and affordable. read more

My husband and son get their hair cut by Kane and his very skilled and diverse team, and they've never disappointed. I would highly recommend. They're great with all hair types! Don't go anywhere else and then look crazy because some newbooty barber pushed your line up too far back... It's not worth the risk man, just go to Kane's ‍. read more

I got a great fade here for a reasonable price. The shop itself was clean and comfortable, and I didn't have to wait. Demeatric was professional and absolutely knew what he was doing. Will definitely be back soon. read more

From out of town and needed a good fade. Saw the pictures on yelp and decided to try this place. The atmosphere was very friendly and chill. I didn't wait for Kane, i decided to use whoever was available. I was not disappointed one bit. The fade was tight and he took his time. No appointment needed, waited 10 minutes. Fair prices, haircut was $20 and no issue with parking. Highly recommended! read more

I sat for an hour because a customer was upset at his cut. So then Kane came out and fixed his hair but the other barber just watched instead of cutting my hair. I left and am not coming back. read more

I love this shop! My daughters and i get our natural styles maintained by the stylist there, Alma Love. She's amazing, professional and great with my kids, 7 & 8 years old. The vibe is very chill, the shop is clean, cool and comfortable. Always good conversations flowing and i love that both men and women feel welcome! read more

My new favorite barber shop. My barber of 5 years Alex came here and if course I followed. If you are looking for a great cut at a reasonable price it's definitely worth the visit. read more

Honestly the best haircuts I have ever gotten. I have had my hair cut by popular stylist for shows and I honestly prefer these guys. They are the bomb and so welcoming. read more

Nice, clean barber shop run by an Oak Cliff native. All Dallas people, def recommend!

Finally after 5 years I found my go to spot. Rubi kills my haircut every time and they all treat you like family in here. Super easy to either walk in and get a cut or even schedule one online. Price is just right, conversations are fun and friendly and the cut you get here is better than anywhere else in town. read more
