The individualized attention to your pet is truly unbelievable. Detailed personalized reports, video tutorials for your pet and starring your pet, thorough pre-briefing and de-briefing with every session. I want to add creativity and determination. Lots of people think they have a stubborn dog, but Andrea let me know my dog truly was a grand prize winner. Elfie went on strike multiple times during every session, but she met her match in Andrea who never gave up figuring out ways to get Elfie to use that right forelimb. She even put a hair scrunchie on Elfie's snout so she would instinctively bat it off to work that range of motion. And instead of being frustrated by my stubborn dog, Andrea just loved her all the more for it. In spite of Elfie's resistance, she always walked a little more each week. And now, several months after Elfie graduated from PT, she is racing around like a puppy, going on longer walks and playing with more joyfulness than before her injury and surgery ever happened. For that matter, I should mention Elfie was referred by Lenity just next door, where Dr. Carlson performed the surgery on Elfie's shoulder. It was so convenient to have that partnership between the two. Thanks so much to Scout's House for everything!

Each dog has a session on their own with no other animals present, and it's incredible how the staff motivate your pet to do the exercises. They send you videos explaining their techniques so you can do the exercises at home. We went once a week for 6 weeks after surgery, then did a few more sessions once every other week, with daily PT sessions at home. The entire team here were so kind and knowledgeable and they kept the surgery team (at Lenity, also fabulous) updated on my dog's progress. Sessions were $149 after an initial consultation which I believe was $249. I could not recommend them more highly!

I started bringing my dog here to address his luxating patella. We came up with a plan to start shockwave therapy and water treadmill therapy and supplements. We've had two appointments out of the five of the package we purchased. He's much more comfortable with all the staff and treatments now. The first two shockwave treatments are done with the doctors to assess and develop a treatment plan, and the following treatments are done with a certified therapist. Everyone has been so kind to my dog that he loves coming here. And not just for the human grade cheese he's given to do the exercises!! We were also given a comprehensive List of physical therapy movements and stretches to do at home. It's too soon to tell if the treatment is working well, but we have high hopes with this clinic! It takes us about 3 hours of traffic to get to and from this clinic, but it's such a gem. They provide towels and blowdryers and snacks for the water treadmill work. We opted to not try the injection as my dog is scared of shots, who isn't really?! The doctor was so kind to provide us with a another supplement option, which we have started. They check in to see how he's doing at the start of every appointment and tailor the session to his needs. We opted to not go through insurance, but they can help out with paperwork if you do so. Well worth it to learn non invasive techniques to rehab your beloved pups. Can't wait to see my little baby become stronger with these amazing professionals!

With her shock wave therapy, agility exercise routines, and acupuncture, his condition has improved from when we first started seeing her. We are very happy that he has been able to keep up our normal activity levels of two 30 minute walks per day. Prior to Dr. Flores, some vets were suggesting he get MRIs and back surgeries which of course is not what he needed. And the best part is she does the house visit out in Concord!

He is healthy and only needed a physical exam after I adopted him from a shelter. Dr. Dasho came to my home with his assistant and was very gentle and careful with my cat. He asked about his diet and genuinely seemed to care about his health. The appointment didn't last as long as I expected, which was nice. Unfortunately, I did have a serious concern about the way his assistant handled my cat. She may have still been training because she seemed inexperienced with handling cats. At one point, she picked up my adult cat by the back of his neck and held him in that position while Dr. Dasho examined him. This really worried me because my cat was clearly scared, and his eyes were dilated while he was being held that way. The correct way to pick up a cat is to use two hands and fully support their chest and legs. Mother cats pick their babies up by the neck to move them around until they're old enough to walk on their own. It was not appropriate to pick up and hold my adult cat this way during a routine exam. Seeing him so frightened was upsetting, especially when the whole reason I chose an in-home vet was to make the experience less stressful for him. I really liked Dr. Dasho and felt that he genuinely cared about my cat, but the way his assistant handled him left me very uncomfortable. Because of that experience, I don't think I would use Lotus Veterinary again.

One in particular sticks out: A sweet dog was getting eye surgery and I recommended Cindie work with him. And when he came back for his post-surgical check up, the vet was astounded that the inflammation was totally clear - something the vet had never seen before! So if you're wondering whether it's worth it to have your pet receive some energy healing when you're already spending so much for their health - the answer is YES! It can make the recovery process easier and less drawn out for your pet (that means less costly too). If you're looking for an unforgettable experience, take a class with Cindie Ambar. I don't have pets now, but I love connecting with animals. I took my pregnant wife to a workshop at the pregnant mare rescue on how to bond with animals and we had the most magical time. The baby horses came right up to us and loved us up after we meditated with them. I can't think of a better gift to give another person than a magical experience like that! And if you want to build your skills as an animal healer yourself - take her Reiki classes! Cindie is the real deal - give her a call and step into her world. She's super organized and virtual sessions work great. For animal energy healing sessions, she always deeply listens to concerns, issues. Her care is magical, I have seen so much improvement in my cat's health esp when she's going through rough times. For human reiki sessions, she starts with Tarot cards, and the scalar waves and more. I always feel relaxed post session. The animal reiki sessions have also helped me and deepened my relationship with my pet. I have been also fortunate to take her energy healing class and I have learned so much. i have used the techniques with my cat and I can see the difference it makes. I would highly recommend her! She stopped eating and we took her into the emergency vet. We had to put her down and it felt so sudden. It was a real shock. During our session, she told me that the moment she received my request, Charlotte came through to her and said she was ready to go. This was a great comfort to me. She said many other things that deeply comforted me and confirmed that Charlotte's spirit will never leave me. I am still very sad, but this session helped tremendously. I also had a healing done for myself, which was so very helpful. I felt lighter and less devastated. I also felt Charlotte's spirit all around me. I highly recommend Charly for pet communication and healing for your fur baby or yourself. She is a very sweet and empathetic soul and I feel she is the real deal. Our dog Bailey is a 6 year old chocolate Lab who developed a deep fluid filled mass in her neck. Our primary vet initially attempted to remove it, but once he got in there, he felt it was too close to extremely important structures such as her jugular, carotid artery, nerves, etc and chose not to continue. Hearing that was terrifying and it eventually led us to Dr. Bugman. From our very first appointment, Dr. Bugman made us feel like Bailey was genuinely in good hands. I was incredibly nervous and had a million questions. She was patient, kind, honest and empathetic through all of it. Communication was always easy, and I never felt rushed or made to feel like I was asking too much. She also understood the financial reality of specialty care and was willing to talk through different options with us without ever making me feel like we were compromising Bailey's care. On surgery day, I was an emotional wreck, but Bailey did beautifully and Dr. Bugman was able to successfully remove the mass. After weeks of fear and uncertainty, hearing that my girl was awake, out of surgery, and the icky mass was out was the biggest relief imaginable. What I will remember just as much as Dr. Bugman's surgical skill is how cared for we felt throughout this entire experience. When your dog is your family, handing them over for a major surgery is incredibly hard. I never once questioned whether Bailey was being watched over, loved on and treated like she mattered. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Bugman and everyone who cared for our girl. There really aren't enough words to say thank you for getting Bailey safely through this and back to us. If you are scared and searching through reviews trying to decide who you can trust with your baby, I hope this review gives you some of the reassurance I desperately needed when we were in that position.

I hate to write a bad review, but I also feel compelled to warn others so that they don't have the…read moresame experience that we did. I will not share the entire saga, but here is what I will say: - I do not know if SAGE's clinical choices were sound, as I am not a vet. What I do know is that they were not successful, and resulted in the death of a relatively young (6 year old) cat who did not appear to be *that sick*. - The care that was provided - which took place over the course of less than 12 hours and did not involve any surgery resulted in bills exceeding $7,000. - After the traumatic experience, SAGE was focused purely on payment, and not at all on condolences. They immediately charged the credit card on file and sent multiple emails with invoices (which were unclear and in some cases contradictory). When I arrived to pick up the cat's ashes the person at the front desk looked at the computer and said "you have an outstanding balance of $400; would you like to pay that now?" She did not say "I'm sorry for your loss" and instead just straight to asking for more money. When I pushed back she said "that's our protocol." Yes, clearly it is. - They made many administrative errors throughout the process, which I will not go into because for those they have apologized, but there were so many that I felt embarassed for them. But I've now contacted them multiple times with one simple request: please send me one invoice that is complete and accurate. My requests have gone unanswered. Perhaps because they have already received payment, they are no longer concerned with me, but it's actually pretty outlandish. They charged over $7,000 (I think - it's actually hard to tell because again, the charges and invoices are not clear or complete) and can't be bothered with giving me a clear answer. I am truly not sure how any business can get away with operating this way, but apparently SAGE can. I'm sure they do some good work. I'm sure there are many good people who work there and care a lot about animals. But based on our experience, it feels like incompetent adminstration at best and a scam at worst. I know that when your pet needs emergency care you may not have a lot of options, but if you do, I suggest that you try to go elsewhere.
