Also a shout out to the tech team for taking such good care of us. A big thank- you to everyone! We are very satisfied. We looked for quite awhile for a Trailer that met our needs. We wanted to buy locally to support our local businesses so we were happy when we finally found what we wanted at Butler. I highly recommend Butler Auto and RV.

Franco's Auto Service has been in Kamloops for, well, as long as i can remember and arguably the most respected independent auto service business in Kamloops. Franco's unofficially specializes in the higher end European and Japanese vehicles but don't worry he will work on your POS as well :P Franco is one of those old school European trades people, he takes his craft and reputation VERY seriously. An ex-Ferrari race mechanic (yea, no kidding!); although, he has long since stopped turning wrenches himself and has focused on running his business. I understand that Franco expects the same pride in their craft of his technicians as he has, thus they are among the best in Kamloops. Francos' boasts very clean, bright and organized facility... I don't think eating off the floor would be recommended, but you probably could, safely. A full service shop, from oil changes in your Ford Focus to replacing the transmission in your 5 series BMW, at rates that are better than the dealer. Aside to the service, Franco does deal in used vehicles to a minor degree (usually 1/2 dozen vehicles at a time), offering mostly VW and Honda. These cars are generally in very good shape, thus not cheap used, but quality used.

BMW was closed and these guys helped us with a low engine coolant and a pressure check to ensure that we would make it back to Vancouver. Amazing service for a last minute call. We spoke to some locals after dropping the vehicle off and they all spoke so highly of them. On our return they showed us that we also needed to check the turbo engine coolant. Taking time to educate us on busy Saturday. Thank you guys.

Had a 12:30 appointment today. Dropped off with friendly service advisor, told it would be 1.5 - 2…read morehours. At 2:30 I went to check on the status on my truck and seen it parked outside with the hood up. After another 10 minutes a mechanic comes out and informs me that the keys are in the ignition and the truck is locked. A tow truck had been called to unlock the truck. I informed the mechanic that my wife has a spare set at family house (we're visiting from out of town). Had key's delivered to open truck. Asked why no one asked me about a spare key before calling a tow truck. Mechanic said that the service tower explored options, but still no call ( I told the service advisor I would be in the waiting area, they also had my cell number). I did receive apologies from the service folks plus a small discount on the invoice. A phone call from someone in service could have remedied this issue much quicker and I wouldn't have spent 3.5 hours at the dealership.

The negligence of this shop almost caused an accident on the highway for myself and my kids…read more We noticed a weird grinding noise while driving, when turning and accelerating and decelerating. We had asked if it was covered under warranty and they had said it depended on the repair. If it wasn't covered or nothing was found we would pay for the diagnostic. We also had a service done later and asked them to check for the same thing. They assessed it and told us they gave it a thorough look through and a test drive. They said there was no sound or grinding they could hear or feel. They said they tightened a couple things. I got in the SUV and immediately could still feel/hear the issue though it seemed a tad better. My husband tried it out too and went back in the shop and said it was still there. They assured him that any sound we thought we could hear/feel was a regular noise. We went home and eventually called back. We were told vehicles make noises and to rest assured they checked anything it could be and there is no issue. They made us feel incompetent. At the service, they still said there were no issues. Again, telling us there was nothing to hear or feel. We called in once or twice more and were told said they can check again but we are on the hook for paying when there is no actual issue. Most driving has been in town. While driving on the highway, we had a dangerous wobble but there was no where to get work done. I had it happen enough times to know it wasn't the road conditions but had no safe places to stay/get reception for 100km or so. I figured my wheel alignment wasn't right and took it in to KalTire. They checked the alignment and also found we had a control arm issue. They fixed it an the issues we noticed when we took it to Honda were also foxed. They said it can be called a death wobble because it can jerk you to the side and then back again which can be incredibly dangerous at high speeds. I contacted Honda and spoke with the service manager Tyson. He basically said there is no way they could have predicted this was an issue when I brought it in. He maintains there was no way for them to know there was an issue. When I asked Tyson how they checked for the control arm he sidestepped the question, Kal Tire says their protocol allows for everything to dangle which is how they found the issue and most shops won't do this. Tyson refuses to acknowledge my concerns as real concerns and says that because it was months between my concerns and getting the vehicle actually fixed there was nothing wrong with the vehicle especially. I asked him if my concerns in the beginning could indicate a lower control arm issue or not. He eventually conceded that they can indicate a lower control arm but isn't necessarily the issue. This shop put my family at risk.

Only 6 Days after purchasing the car, it had to go into the shop. Long story short the service bill amounted to over 3000$ from MULTIPLE oil leaks and other issues that Honda MISSED in their mechanical inspection. Going forward I have received the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. The customer service I received was unhelpful, condescending, and not once did I receive an apology from Honda for this financial and personal inconvenience. When reaching out to the GM about my negative experience both with the repairs and the customer service I was faced with the same response. No apology, no remorse and unhelpful. Moral of the story- Kamloops Honda doesnt know how to work on German cars and if you ever run into issues with them you will be greeted with BAD customer service and a big bill $$$. Take your business elsewhere if you can.

The work done was acceptable. The process of getting in and out in a timely manner.....very…read morefrustrating. I drop my vehicle off in the morning, wait in line to give details - takes15 mins. Picking up the vehicle at end of day, you have to stand in line and wait to talk to the service adviser, then you go over to pay and stand in line and wait again. All the time, incoming phone calls take priority over the customer in front of them, more waiting. Then you wait and wait for them to bring the vehicle around. The last time I picked up, it was busy in there and from the time I walked in to the time I left was close to 40 mins. Dropping off and picking up took almost an hour out of my day. Jiffy lube or great Canadian Oil Change gets you in, out, and on your way in the same amount of time as it takes waiting around for people at Ford Lincoln.

Scam. They sold me…read more& my ex a lemon. We were interested in one car but they pushed this other car on us. A few weeks later we dumped $2700 into fixing all the issues with this car. AB refused to acknowledge or accept any responsibility for the piece of crap car they sold us. They accused us of being to hard on the car. The only way we would've caused that much damage that quickly was if we were riding on a dirt bike track with it. Struts were shot, suspension was shot, traction control was shot, ABS was shot & brakes were almost metal on metal. They also made promises they never kept. When we called them on their promises they denied ever making them. I will never deal with or recommend this company to anyone.

I've bought three cars from AB since 2008. Not many used car dealers would do that. The last one I bought, they threw in a set of winter tires that came with the car that they could have just held on to and sold. Friendly, professional and great guys to deal with.
