As a part of my quest to find the best Chinese place in my area I chose to review Kam Wah with my favorite Chinese dishes. I ordered General Tso Chicken, white rice, an egg roll, fried dumplings and a bottle of snapple for $17. The good: best egg roll I've had good crispy noodles meal ready in time promised friendly staff portions The bad: storefront upkeep and cleanliness leaky packaging missed my request for white rice, got fried chicken too saucy and lower quality meat dumplings not good soy sauce unflavorful Conclusion: I've had better in the area besides the egg roll.

I've been getting food from this Chinese restaurant for over 30 years. No one else can touch their pork fried rice! Great variety and price!

All that would be fine if you don't miss the old ladies with their pushcarts hawking their goodies at your table. I sort of did miss them as they are what I remember most fondly about those enormous meals around a large round table with family and friends that I enjoyed growing up. But, this is certainly not that, and therein lies the difference of having a totally enjoyable experience vs a fast food version without any cultural entertainment value. Without that, the food was just not as tasty and fun. The Xiao Long Bao skin was too thick and chewy, although the pork infused hot soup within was decent. Similarly, the sui mai and shrimp dumplings had better texture outside, but tiny shrimp within. The glutinous rice rolls had a pleasant light soy sauce and right textured wrap, but small shrimp in both size and number. The best we had was the potato croquette (crunchy outside, hot and grated tato within). The room was all blond wood and large traditional Chinese kitchen mural on the wall. Service was efficient. Prices were about right given the recent restaurant inflation. For my three stars I would rather return to the enrapture of the old ladies and their carts.

The freshness of the veggies packed inside are delicious!! I have tried spring rolls in the surrounding area (Warminster/Richboro/Langhorne/Holland) which are always so soggy and oily inside. It's quite gross & I can promise I have NOT been back to those places. Asian Palace spring rolls have a few pieces of cut shrimp (nice chunks) that I have to pick out because I'm allergic, but they are soooo darn good and fresh, I'm willing to risk it lol. Their chicken fried rice is tasty & has good amount of carrots, peas and onions. Can't tell ya how many other restaurants have cut corners and dobt put veggies in and to top it off skimp on the chicken. I was highly pleased to see A.P. Is they providing what customers want making people want to keep coming back! Great job Asian Palace, our go to place!!!

Still love a Chinese restaurant that puts out hot tea, noodles and duck sauce the minute you sit down. Today I took 24 ladies to lunch (pre-arranged menu choices). All 24 ladies (some hard to please) enjoyed everything! Courses were timly, food was fresh, hot and generous portions. It was perfect. Bruce, the owner was very accomodating, Alan and Ken took great care of us. They didn't miss a beat. Generals Chicken is all white meat. I enjoy the veg tempura but everything is a good choice. And lots of left overs! Yay! Must end with the pistachio ice cream...our group favorite!

Food is pretty good but it is extremely inconsistent and you really never know what you're going to get. We've been told they're too busy to give us a special that is advertised on their menu. We've ordered dishes packed in the wrong containers to the point that they spilled and leaked all over the bags and other containers. We've ordered breaded shrimp that has been cooked in the shells but isn't meant to. And we've never once complained. Tonight was different... We placed a fairly normal order for our house, paid $60 on cc and tipped $10 in cash. We don't care how long the food takes to arrive but this time everything hot arrived ice cold. No sauces for the side. Our kani salad had lettuce instead of cucumber. We've never complained and really didn't want to but tonight a call was made. After many excuses and "yeah okays" we were offered $3 off our next order. This is flat out insulting after the amount of orders and dollars spent over just the last few months. This offer was declined and we told the woman on the phone we would order else where going forward. A few minutes later we received a call from the woman who delivered our food. She was pleasant and told us she had just returned to the restaurant and was told to call us. She offered us $10 off our next order but continued on the excuses train that were fed to her. (None of this was her fault and we truly stand by that statement-cold and incorrect food has nothing to do with the driver). All in all, we're very disappointed. We've had a good handful of bad experiences with Sunny Asian Cuisine but we enjoyed the place enough that we kept ordering but their complete lack of customer service broke us this time and we will never be ordering again. Good food once but you'll never get the same thing again.
