It has a large crack in the middle and it is starting to alligator in some spots. I watched a few videos on how to seal my own driveway and it seemed pretty easy. I priced out what it would cost with materials and of course my time is free. Before I did I wanted an estimate to see how much I would save. I emailed Doctor Asphalt on their website and waited for a response. Jake replied to me the next day. I was really surprised. I didn't even check that email account for a couple of days because I didn't think he would respond so fast. He asked me a couple of questions and I responded. Again he replied right away and I didn't check the account for a couple of days. When I did reply again he said he could do it right away and had an estimate waiting in my inbox. Boy was I surprised by the dollar amount. It was only $100 more than I could do it myself. I was skeptical but I thought what is the worst that could happen. I set up the appointment on a Monday afternoon. When I got home from work my driveway was done and it looked beautiful. All the patching was done and crack filler in place. The sealer was a nice even coat with no thin spots. I was totally impressed. Jake's team filled all the cracks and he did an extra good job where the asphalt meets the concrete at the garage. He knew I had issues there but I didn't want to pay for extra asphalt right now to fix it because I have a concrete step that needs to be fixed first. He put in extra crack filler and evened it out so it looked good and sealed the crack between the driveway and my garage. Now the ants and bees can't make a home under my garage. I know you can drive on it in 36 hours but I decided to wait 3 days. Boy am I glad I did. We have driven on it for two weeks now and it still looks new. My whole experience with Jake has been great. My only regret is I didn't meet him in person. Our entire interaction was over email. We never even talked on the phone. I highly recommend Doctor Asphalt. As I wrote earlier, my time is free. Jake showed me that my time is precious. What took Jake a couple of hours would have taken me all day and I would have had soar muscles and back. He let me enjoy my time with my family instead of in the driveway getting covered in tar and having to wash up with gasoline. Thanks Jake!

With my yard being cut one direction one week and another direction the next. What happened in reality was their equipment didn't fit through my gate, so the backyard had to be push mowed. On occasion the crew forgot the mower and had to come back, twice I had to call. Today I received a bill with a $20 charge for blowing the grass clippings off of my yard because it wasn't cut for 9 days and it was long. Not my fault, they cut the grass on their schedule. I complained about this charge and also about the poor service. Paul, instead of being professional, cancelled my service. He didn't try to make it right or call, he just sent me an email that my service would be canceled.

The Exteriors Company could teach a master class on contractor/customer interactions. If you need exterior work done, call The Exteriors Company! FOR REAL. LENGTHY REVIEW STARTS HERE: It took over a year and a half and meeting with 15 roofing companies to finally find the right company for my job: The Exteriors Company. My house has a modern/Frank Lloyd Wright kinda vibe - lots of different roof sections and pitches. A majority of the first 15 contractors that bid on my roof repair wanted to sell me a new roof. The problem with my roof was a design flaw and a new roof would have eventually led to more water in my house. This was confirmed by an architect. If you look at the before and after photo, you can see how ridiculous the design was. We had water coming into our house anytime it rained and when the snow melted. It was awful. We were lucky enough to have Ryan (the owner of The Exteriors Company) come look at our roof. The first thing he said after climbing on to the roof was, "You need to redo this whole area," confirming what we already knew. That was the first clue that we found a good roofing contractor. After talking in person and over email with Ryan and getting the contract for the project, we knew we found the right company. Ryan was so communicative. He reached out regularly through the repair process. We had four different teams (framing, roofing, siding and gutters) work on our repair. We were notified in advance when to expect each team. Then each team project manager reached out via text a day or two before and the day of their work. Each team was on time and did beautiful work. They were also tidy and I felt like they respected our home and property. Shout out to Taylor Paar and Scott Mack (roofing project manager and siding manager). Both these fellows came to meet with me and my husband to review the work that was done and to make sure everything was done to our liking. And to make sure we didn't have any concerns or questions. The entire experience from start to finish was incredible. The Exteriors Company very obviously cares deeply about the quality of their work and customer satisfaction.
