It was serviceable, but the honey oak builder-standard did not go well with the grey floors. Oh well, we made it work. After 7 years in the house, the finish was wearing, and some of the drawers wouldn't stay closed; we could finally say it was time to make the kitchen ours. I got quotes from several contractors and ended up going with Dan from Better than New Kitchens for several reasons: 1. He spent TIME with me to understand what I wanted; he also wasn't afraid to make recommendations to change what I initially thought in the interest of budget and what would actually work for my needs. 2. The quote was detailed. It included all the special features that we discussed, including separate pricing for some options I wasn't sure would fit the budget but wanted to consider. In quotes from other vendors, I couldn't tell if they had actually had listened to me and they did not include all of the features and options discussed. I work in requirements myself (software) and having all of it spelled out was very important to me so for sure I knew what I was paying for. 3. Dan's passion. This guy loves his work, and you can tell. All of that came to fruition in the build. Super efficient, professional team, and my kitchen is beautiful. No surprises! We didn't just refinish the existing kitchen; we also extended the kitchen against the back of our dining area wall. This gave me an amazing appliance garage, a mixer stand that pops up from a cabinet, and way, way more storage space. Highly recommend Dan and his team.

Dan the owner spent a lot of time at our in home visit to review the scope , made great suggestions on 2 new pots and pan drawers and assured us we would not know they were refaced but would look like new cabinets . We chose a beautiful Maple wood with new drawers on amazing soft close silent hardware . The work crew was professional , skilled craftsmen that figured out every little corner and angle to perfection . I am amazed at the quality of work . The transformation is stunning . We had been wanting to remodel and update our kitchen but really didn't know where to start. Everything needed to be replaced as our kitchen was over 30 years old. A new remodel or replacing our existing cabinets would be very expensive and we were quoted about 2 months for it to be completed. We considered painting the cabinets but were not sure how they would look due to their age and condition. We decided to look into cabinet refacing as it would be much more cost efficient, and it could be completed in about a week. After much research we came across Re-New Cabinets. My husband and I were so impressed with all the positive 5-star reviews and the wonderful comments from previous clients. We decided to go to the show room in Chandler and check it out for ourselves. Once entering the show room, it was so clear by all the beautiful kitchen displays that this was top notch company that provided high end quality work. We were greeted by the owners Arlette and Robert Lenzi. They were so welcoming and really cared about finding out what our vision was in updating our kitchen. We also met their amazing designers Veronica and Carlos Lenzi, and they were all so helpful in showing us all the options available. As we spoke of what we wanted to do they each started pulling doors, hardware, crown molding and countertop samples. They were creating something that we could look at to visualize the possibilities of what our kitchen could look like. We really loved their passion and sense of design, and we knew we had found the people we wanted to work with. We were happy to know that every aspect of our project would be handled in house and completed in their workshop by their team. We had so many custom options to choose and over 100 different doors to choose from in whatever color and style you like. All the doors and drawers are soft close and the new drawers they make are all dove tailed. We picked out beautiful crown molding and handles, and all of this is included. Other companies had quoted us extra for all of these items. That same day Arlette also arranged for us to view full size quartz and granite countertops so we could make sure the colors, and pattern would be to our liking. This was so helpful and we were able to get a much better idea than just looking at small sample squares. ReNew installed custom crown molding and hardware, a gorgeous backsplash, under counter lighting with a remote and dimmer, decorative panel doors on our island and all the countertops were finished in a beautiful quartz. In addition, we had a trash cabinet installed and we were able to do a drawer conversion which gave us large drawers for pots and pans and no longer will have to store them in my oven. Everyday someone from the Lenzi family stopped by to see the progress and would call or text us daily to give us updates. They truly make you feel that you are a priority to them. The installers were so amazing as well. They are more than installers as they are also the team that create your kitchen in their workshop. They take so much pride in their work, and they really are true craftsmen. They work so hard to ensure that every part of the installation is perfect. Every night they would clen up and leave our kitchen spotless. A big thank you to Manuel, Homero and Edwin! We selected an elegant shade of beige with hints of yellow and green depending on how the sun is shining. We waited the full 30 days after painting to replace items on the painted shelves that were part of our kitchen. I have waited until now to write my review to be sure that the painted cabinet surfaces held up to everyday wear and tear. All I can say is that Elite did a fantastic job! Ernesto came and gave us the initial quote in December 2025 and he was also on our job every single day. Our painting work was performed by Ernesto himself and one other contractor (Tony). They worked quite independently, diligently and were patient and easy to communicate with throughout the project as I was onsite (and watching intently) the entire time. Ernesto's and Tony's work was top-notch. Also, the office staff person, Sasha, did a great job, start to finish: first, in getting us scheduled in a very timely manner; all the way to the end, with final payment processing. We truly could not be happier. Our kitchen is large and our existing custom cabinetry was solid wood that was in really good shape and would have been such a waste to just get rid of. However, I also did not want our kitchen to look hodge-podge or cheap, as our home is quite grand. Anyway, the end result is the kitchen of my dreams! My experience with this company was very disappointing. The scheduling made little sense. The demolition was done on a Friday, but installation did not take place until Monday, leaving my entire wardrobe piled on my guest bed for the entire weekend. On top of that, the person who removed the old closet left a large mess in my bedroom. On installation day, the installers themselves were very nice and did solid work. However, there were major issues with the final product. Both center doors were not installed because the holes were supposedly drilled on the wrong side, and the doors were also the wrong measurements. Additionally, one of the hanging racks was completely forgotten. The installers didn't leave until around 7 p.m. on a Monday night. Before leaving, they told us that the company would be calling to schedule another installation date for the missing doors, which they said could take about a week or more. At this point, the lack of coordination and quality control has been extremely frustrating.

And if this doesn't work, I guess we'll have to get an attorney involved.
