visited Kalson for microblading and completed two sessions. Each session cost $397, for a total of $794. Two are required. Following my first session, I noticed significant unevenness and several sparse areas in my brows. I returned for a second session to address these concerns; however, I experienced the same outcome. While my brows initially appeared fuller and more even for about a week, the pigment faded quickly, leaving noticeable bare spots once again. Additionally, the final result appears more "powdered" rather than consisting of defined, hair-like strokes, which was my expectation. I will need to fill in the bare spots with pencil even though I paid more than I ever have for sub standard microblading! I have had microblading done in the past with results that lasted approximately 3-4 years. In my previous experience, a touch-up session was typically included as part of the initial service, rather than being charged at the same rate as the original procedure. I won't be recommending her to friends, family or coworkers and will go elsewhere next time. read more

The website and client photos spoke volumes to me enough that I scheduled an appointment. Kalon is located in a business plaza among a physician office, yoga studio and other businesses. Kalon is a chic boutique located within a chiropractors office. Karen is the business owner and trained expert who performs the microblading. Karen gave me a thorough consultation of what to expect before, during and after the service. She explained the different types of eyebrow services from Microblading to Ombre and Hybrid. Karen made a recommendation of the Ombre technique based on my personal style and skin type (oily/mature). The entire service took 2.5 hours and was worth every penny! I made my appt for micro blading In the spring. I live abroad, so when I came up sick during the time of my appt. I was told they would have to reschedule. I understood completely, and they let me reschedule the appt and give it to my mom (Fully paid). It took them months to fit her in, rescheduled her when she came in the first time with a different date months down the line, and finally got another appt in December. Today the artist never shows up to the appt. Then blamed my mom for not giving her her new number because apparently she texted her to cancel this morning. Just really unprofessional. So yelp wouldn't let me post a response to her response so I had to create a new account but this is still the unhappy "customer" of hers from the Groupon incident. Response to her response: Hold my coffee because of my laughing too hard. You were in no way nice to me, only decided to "honor" my Groupon because I left you a bad review in which you changed your mind. Free does in fact mean complimentary (good job!) and what you were giving me was NOT free, I had a Groupon in which you pay money for your service. When I contacted Groupon they told me that as long as a called to get an appt within the expiration date, that it would still be valid. Something I experienced with another Microblading place a few years ago, a business person who understands how to use Groupon and well... know how to run a business. When I called to make my apt (before the expiration) you completely understood this and booked me with my Groupon. The fact that you called me, months after the initial booking and 2 weeks before my appt to say no it's not valid anymore because you were losing money on the groupons is so horrid, I mean what an ugly person you are. When I told Groupon this they said you wouldn't be able to use them anymore. I'm sorry if you feel my commutation was "rude",but typically when someone screws you over it doesn't bring out the best side of you. I did drop a couple f bombs in my fury but for your approval I replaced them with PG versions so I'm not "profane". And well "belligerent" I'm pretty sure that only feels that way to you because you are not a smart person and can't understand when someone tells you you are wrong (in which I highly suspect you used the dictionary to find the word belligerent).
