I decided to get the Sculptural Facelift to get the two-in-one facial and massage. It was my first session with her, but I didn't want to do the First Ritual, the facial for first timers. I messaged and she said she'd adjust our time to make sure we had time for the consultation; our conversation before our session was really in-depth, we walked through what's been working and what hasn't, and even my lifestyle and diet. Katie was way more down to earth than I anticipated, and didn't push or judge. Her spot is intimate and welcoming, full of green and sun; her backroom where she does her facials is calm and dark (and she has fantastic music, not cheesy spa music). The sculptural massage was amazing; I have never felt more lifted and relaxed and could visibly see a difference for weeks! Although admittedly, I had never heard of PierVana before Billie started working there, I was very impressed. It's located downstairs in a California-type shopping building off Shelburne Road. It's extremely peaceful and smells great. I felt very comfortable and perhaps even like I was in some other place far away from Burlington. Billie gives the most amazing mid-pressure Swedish massages you will ever have. I kid you not. I know massages are subjective, but unless you like those massages that hurt and you have to grind your teeth together to not scream out, you will love Billie's massages (actually, perhaps she can even give the kind of massages that hurt - it wouldn't surprise me, she's very skilled). Billie also gives facials. I have only had mini ones from her, but she has the magic touch, so I'm sure the full-length ones are fantastic, too. The Vermont Licensing board explained this to me after I messaged them for Shahla giving me a massage with an expired license. They explained that they give masseuses a lot of grace in practicing with expired licenses and probably. Also neat. The State of Vermont may do nothing, but I will share my sanitation concerns with them and request they pull camera footage to corroborate my story.
