The attempted 's squash us into the back corner of the restaurant. With barley a 12inch clearance for people to walk between two tables, when the chairs were empty and making contact with the tables. Then comes the interesting part of the experience. The waitress for the restaurant event was trying to take drink orders. I emphasize "trying" she made at least 8 trips bringing drinks most of which were incorrect. So sorry for her, she was a pleasant lady doing the best she knew how. The owner tried to assist but wasn't that far up the know how to serve customers than the waitress. The food orders were taken. After a great deal of time the orders began in shifts to appear at the tables. No more than 2 orders at a time. The waitress had no idea where the orders were to be placed. Sad because she took every individual's name when the orders were placed. The waitress finally thought all orders had been delivered. Only to discover one order had not been delivered. My girl was sitting in her place and there was no order that appeared. The waitress in a panic apologized and went searching for the order. The waitress kept appearing with drink refills and apologies. The missing order appeared about 15 minutes later with more apologies. The next panic point was the payment procedure. The owner, after we filed the complaint about the missing order agreed to giving 50% off the missing order. But had failed to mention that every order would have a 15% gratuity added to the total price. So there were gratuities left on the tables and now additional gratuities added to the check. What a mess. I will never set foot on their sticky floor again. Good food, very, very poor experience.

My girl didn't get her order for more than 30 minutes after the last person she recognized as having ordered a meal. She apologized for the missing order and began a frantic search for the ticket that contained the order. After another 15 minutes of waiting she told my girl she would personally go and make sure the order was properly prepared. The order finally arrived, everyone else in the group had finished eating. The food was good. But the management and service suck. When we spoke with the owner about the issue, she said okay I'll give you 50% off. When a quality restaurant would have made it a free meal and offered 50% off the next time we came. (Which at this point would be never) When the bills were processed there was an automatic gratuity added to the total. There was never any mention of this when we were placing the orders. The owner told us that she wasn't aware of the process. Again if the owner doesn't know how her business is being operated, major issues will always be conic. Bottom line - food was good service and atmosphere of the place is very unpleasant. We will never return or offer advice for others to do the same.

She answered all our questions about the various dishes and sauces (some may be hot) and was very attentive the entire time we were there. We ordered the Sailor's Boil, which came with crab legs, shrimp, lobster, potatoes, and corn. The sauce was delicious, as was all the seafood and sides. We had a piece of strawberry cheesecake for a birthday dessert, which was also delicious. Be prepared to be messy and to work for your food (cracking the shells).
