terrible. order was wrong, at least day old baked potatos. fish was like spoiled tasting.

Very impressed with how great the food was here. Quick service and very friendly staff. Will definitely be back! Probably the best Red Lobster we've been to ever. read more

zero stars. after driving across town to pick up our preordered door dash order we were told they only had half our order. no coconut shrimp in the house. so we cancelled the order as they only had half. i mean people dont watch other people eat their 30 dollar meal while you get zip. so....... the manager bold faced lied straight to our face that she could not cancel that order.. as door dash drivers we knew it was a lie and told her so..she acted very unprofessional and doubled down on her lie. this place has gone down hill so fast..i mean when managers knowingly employee heroin addicts what can u expect..no wonder they are on the chopping block. read more

Love Monday Daily Special- Shrimp and Lobster. Good food and great service at Cartersville Georgia Red Lobster. read more

Passed through on the way back home. Food was excellent. And staff was great! We will be back.

Have enjoyed meals at this restaurant for years, but today was a disappointment. My friend and I split the garlic butter Mariner boil. Food was plentiful but lacking in taste - garlic sauce was bland, couldn't taste garlic. read more

I didn't check the reviews before, going but wish i had. The cup of chowder came out barely warm. We waited forever for our food and there were only a few people in the restaurant. When the food finally came, the steak was overcooked and tough, the baked potato was not hot. The Walt's shrimp was good, but only five. I wanted to say something but the waitress never came back until we were ready to leave. Isn't management concerned that this Red Lobster only has a 2.5 star rating? Sorry, but this was my last time eating here. Posted 12/1 at 8:00 pm, check #20079. read more

Ask for Brittney L as your server. She is excellent, very attentive, pleasant and always makes sure your food service is meet. I give her 10 stars. Please make sure and ask for her. read more

Ordered curb side pickup since I had a screaming toddler in the car. First, thank you for offering this service!! Second, the food and service were outstanding. New Orleans salmon with Brussels sprouts was a winner, and the biscuits were perfect. A very nice young man brought my food right out to me with a smile. Will definitely return! read more

I'm so disappointed! This was one of my favorite places to eat. They changed the menu options. You only get a choice of one side. They need to seriously look at going back to what worked for years! I doubt I will be back. read more

Our waitress was the sweetest thing ever and she really made our visit worth it. If you want the same amazing experience ask for Britney L.

The manager apologized and gave us a gift card so yes I'd recommend this business. The food was great. thank you for your generosity Ma'am. This was the only negative experience we've had with Red Lobster. thank you read more

Okay we all have been to Red Lobster around the country.... but I cannot tell you justhow TERRIFIC this Red Lobster is!! The waitstaff was super! The food was perfect! Even their General Manager, Derrick visited our table, greeted us and was super friendly and genuinely cared about our food and service! This was by far, the BEST Red Lobster restaurant experience we have ever had!! It really made us feel good because we drove to Rome, GA from North Carolina to get away from Hurricane Florence. read more

It's not the like it was in the 90s. The food did not taste fresh. This was the worst Red Lobster I e been to in a while. Will not be back and do not recommend. read more

My husband got severe food poisoning and we spent Sunday Mother's Day, at the emergency room. Thankfully I just got nausea and a little sick it was nothing compared to what he went through. He's still sick 2 days later. What was supposed to to have been a nice anniversary weekend and Mother's Day dinner turned out horrible. Needless to say we will ever eat there again. read more

We have been big fans of Red Lobster as a whole for many years. Over the past few years, we have gone less and less, because it always seems to get worse. We swore off the one in Chattanooga by the mall (ghetto, dirty, just not good) a few years ago. Last time we went was in dalton and it was good then. We haven't been to this Rome location in a couple years, and today we did. The food was fine (not amazing, but fine) and service was good. However, as we sat and waited for our food, we looked around. This is the filthiest restaurant I have seen in a while. Absolutely gross. The walls, the sneeze guards between tables, the salt and pepper shakers... everything we saw was filthy! Covered in grime and greasy fingerprints, everything! There was also a strange musty smell from the time we walked in. I know it's an older restaurant, but we used to think that Red Lobster was sort of a classy restaurant. Clearly, that is no longer the case. read more

I just spent $37 on a meal for myself , my daughter another $30 .The food was good enough . Waited around 30 minutes for drinks then another hour waiting on food . Never saw a manager. There might have been 10 customers in the restaurant. read more

Received a gift card to Red Lobster for $25. We visited on Sunday and had an admirals seafood platter and unlimited soup and salad and two glasses of tea. By the time we tipped the waitress it was $45 dollars. The food was sketchy at best. The fried shrimp, scallops, fish, clams and fries all tasted the same. I've had Gortons that tasted better. I tried the lobster bisque and honest to Pete it tasted like burnt buttered cardboard. It was very disappointing. We did have an attentive waitress which is the only reason for a star period. We won't be going back. Gift card or not. read more

This place sucks! We just went in at 6:30 to get a table I don't even mind waiting 30mins for a table but they couldn't even take our name down they said they wasn't accepting anymore parties tonight which is horrible service! They couldn't even give us a reason for this inconvenience. read more

This Red Lobster is the best around. Management is awesome sauce. Biscuits taste amazing. Love me some Lobster!

Don't waste your time eating here. The manager will tell you one thing and do another thing. We got there at 5pm said it would be a hour. So at 6pm, the manager said it would be another hour. With them seating people as they come in. We asked they said they didn't have seating for the party, but could seat separately. Another excuse was well had two big parties earlier, one had reserved for 3 weeks. read more

Everything was excellent from the Hostess, Waitress and Cook. The food had an eye catching presentation and mouth watering taste. That was our 1st visit to a Red Lobster since a bad experience at the Cartersville restaurant in 1998-99. Thanks to the Staff in Rome. read more

I always enjoy red lobster, this one in Rome has been there for years. Some reviews complain about service well ok that happens but the food is pretty good and price is ok for the portions you get. I can't be petty when I'm stuffing myself with garlic cheese biscuits read more

I love red lobster as a franchise, but this one definitely isn't as exciting whenever they bring my food out. What's worse is that they never have accurate wait times. I was just now told that I'd have a 30 minute wait for my table of 5. I check back 30 minutes later and I am told it will be another 30 minutes. The parking lot wasn't even close to full, i asked if there was any way we could just get a small table, but hostess didn't even apologize or show a shred of sympathy. All I got was a no. Goodbye Red Lobster in Rome! read more

The trick I learned is order of the fresh catch menu as most other items are frozen first and may have that "chain restaurant" taste. Once I learned this have had just amazing meals here and super friendly staff! read more

What can I say.... Server was very nice & sweet but not well trained. I ordered UNsweet tea. BOTH glasses brought were sweetened. I realize we're in the South but... really!! Switched to water so all ok now. Two of us ordered the 4 course meal. One of us got their salads & soup; my soup & salad arrived well after my main course was consumed. The other person who got the 4 course got the wrong entree - twice. The lobster bisque, which I typically love, was gawdawful! Everyone at the table tasted it and agreed. One person at the table only ordered a bowl of soup - the awful bisque... - and all servers had vanished when we wanted to switch. Ended up having to speak to the manager, who kindly did do his best to fix everything - which is why I'm rating this higher than I had planned to. Ended up leaving with very full bellies but things definitely could have gone better. read more

My husband and I wanted to treat our son and daughter in law to lunch. We had not been to the Rome Red Lobster in several years. I was pleased and excited to see how nice it looked when you entered. I was even impressed with how nice the bathroom looked. However, upon being seated at our table, things took a turn. Our table was set up with napkins and flatware. Who would expect to see a piece of blue gum attached to their napkin? We had it replaced by the waitress. We also noticed the table had not been wiped off from the last people who sat there. As requested, they did wipe off the table. However, they did not seem shocked by any of it. Is this the norm there? We then waited for our food for 45 minutes after we ordered. The food was presented well on the plates. It taste okay too. But I don't think we will choose this Red Lobster again. I did politely mention to the young ladies where you enter. Told them I did not want anything in return but they may want to pass on what I said to their manager. read more

Did not get to eat here. We went at 5:00 pm and was told they could seat our party at 6:00 pm. At 6 pm they told us it would be at least another hour.... POOR MANAGEMENT...... Do not go here, find another Red Lobster. read more

The one star is for the shitty service I got from one waitress. Everything else was good and so was everyone else. She needs to be trained. She was horrible. read more

cold food, lobster tail was small and tough. My husband and I both ordered the ultimate feast. The side of broccoli came out late and very overdone. The place was dirty, dust everywhere and cobwebs hanging from the lights above the tables. I always enjoyed eating here, but I'm not sure I will return. read more

Fantastic service, well-cooked food. Best place in Rome for mid-priced seafood casual dining. Even the pasta options can compete with Olive Garden and La Scala. Ask to be served by Shelly, Angelina, or Matthew! read more

The opportunity is the food.. the calamari appetizer was fresh from the freezer with watery ranch and a lack luster marinara that was in much need of flavor. We ordered a combination of children's Mac, shrimp linguini and one of the feast that included shrimp, whitefish, clam strips, scallops, and butterfly shrimp. The feast also had two sides which were green beans and garlic mashed potatoes. I had to ask my wife if I was losing my sense of taste as I couldn't tell the difference between any of the seafood. I realized I wasn't losing my taste when I took a bite of the cold garlic mashed potato's and rubbery green beans that somehow had a bitter after taste. The shrimp linguini was also tasteless and salt and pepper didn't help. Leaving on a positive note we were greeted immediately and they were following Covid guidelines to the "T". Also our server Lauryn was excellent and our tip reflected it. Biscuits also were spot on. Hope they can turn it around... read more

I usually love red lobster, but the last couple of times, my salad was not fresh cut. I think a restaurant with these high prices shouldn't have bagged salad. Also, the baked potatoes are not fresh anymore. I think they're kept in a warmer or something. Not hot, just warm and taste old. I don't get alcohol much, but the last couple of times I have, it just tasted like a non alcoholic fruit drink. I love the seafood, but apparently they're cutting cost, but we're paying the high prices. read more

Love this Red Lobster location! My family has always had great service and wonderful food here!
