I have visited here before and always enjoy the food. While I would love to see more vegan options…read moreadded to the menu, I appreciate that they are continually evolving and making improvements. One thing that stands out is the owner's pride in the establishment and their willingness to personally check in with guests, which adds a welcoming touch to the dining experience. My guest thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp and grits and had nothing but positive things to say. I value businesses that care about their customers, and this is definitely a place I will continue to support and return to.

We have always enjoyed coming here. From the food and atmosphere and also friendly staff it drew…read moreus back in every weekend husband is home. Today, we saw a decline. Not in the staff but there are some minor interior issues which could be addressed. As the dining area and service areas are open plan you can easily see the duct tape doors to the dishwashers area is in dire need of repair versus patching. Also it is rather filthy along the edges. The wall a/c unit also needs to be completely cleaned as it appears to have some grime building up. Now for the biggest disappointment ... our food. Coffee - yummy Country fried steak biscuit..... yea nope not again. It's just like it says just a huge very thin slice of commercial packaged frozen patty of country fried steak laid across an open faced biscuit. I had a side of fresh fruit. But it was mostly out of season fruit so not sweet and still underripe. Biscuit was light and fluffy but I had to order a piece of cheese and some gravy to hide the flavor of the meat and coating. Chicken and waffles - husband's favorite here but today it wasn't the same at all. Chicken was super dry inside. Waffles he described as no different than ones he makes at the hotel lobby. All in all we will wait some before returning to try again at some point. Thank you to the wait staff for always having smiles and helping each other to keep us happy.

Ok, it is a bit of a drive if you live ITP. But, it is worth every mile. Picture this, car full of…read morefamily and friends and you say, 'Hey, let's get some Hawaiian Ice from a place I've never tried before and it's 30 min away! ' After the shouts of, "Hell naw, that's too damn far", you quickly remind everyone that you are the one driving and remind them that this is not a horse and buggy trip, we are in modern days and it's a car and 30 min will fly by and they can scream at me on the way back if it's not worth it. Ok, I've won the art of persuasion match. We arrive, it's a small, but cute unassuming little spot in downtown Acworth. We park, we all place our orders with the nicest staff ever. I order the cherry blossom. It's cherry lychee hawaiian shaved ice with vanilla ice cream and mochi (soft gummy like) candies on top with condensed milk drizzled on top. Think of the fluffiest, softest snow (no hard bits of ice at all) with cherry flavor. Nothing was over the top sweet. You can taste each individual flavor. It is this crucial detail that sets this place above any Hawaiian Ice spot in Georgia. Everyone in my car said it was worth the drive and we must do it again. Trust me, my crew is not an easy crowd to please. I won all my cool points! They will never doubt my foodie wunderlust again;)

It's a nice, cool, refreshing treat that gives one the feeling they are on one of the islands. The iced coffee and the orange dreamsicle were big hits with us. The pineapple delight, not so much. One of the fun things about ice cream at this place its picking your own toppings. The young ladies are wonderful and cute as a button. They will advise you if you can't figure it out, but most folks do. What a neat place for the kiddos! 11/24
