First off...THANK YOU for being open AND allowing indoor seating. Sometimes carry out is not practical. I've never, ever been let down by this great coffee shop. The service is excellent EVER SINGLE time! Attentive, KNOWLEDGEABLE, kind - everything service should be. Today I ordered a blueberry scone and Turkish latte. I've enjoyed all the food items I ordered from kaldi's over the years. I have ordered salads, breakfast dishes, baked good. The food has always been appealing to the eye and my mouth. I love to come here firstly because the staff is outstanding. They are positive, energetic, and customer focused. They have huge smiles on their face all the time and it kicks up my happiness. I have only come in a handful of times and multiple staff members like Emily have actively worked to remember who I am and what I like to drink. The food options are diverse and mostly healthy. I love that they not only have pastries but a kitchen as well preparing everything from burritos, to sandwiches, to breakfast bowls. I like the coffee options as well. I have settled in here for work a couple days and that experience has been excellent as well. My favorite Kaldi's these days! It's the newer one in St Louis, and I absolutely love it. There is so much light - it's an absolutely beautiful place to study. I often try to come on weekdays because it is not super crowded (surprisingly!!). I love catching up on lectures here since there are so many spacious tables and outlets everywhere. I usually get their masala or matcha. Both are super tasty although a tad too sweet. Their coffee is quite strong, so it's a great pick-me-up fo when you've been working for 5 hours but are still 4 lectures behind! For the food, I love the hummus plate since it's quite healthy and filling. Not very familiar with the pastries, but the pumpkin scone was yummy. read more

One thing that I think really makes Kaldi's stand out is how environmentally conscious they are. Every time I order drinks and don't ask that they be made "to-go," they are served in reusable glasses. That's awesome - I love a sustainable company. However, if you are like me and like to be able to impulsively get up and change study locations on a whim, prepare to always order your beverages to-go. Inside the CWE location, there is a ton of seating options and lots of natural light. Out of the coffee shops in this area, this one is definitely the brightest and seems to have the most seating. With that being said, it also tends to fill up quickly. It's clearly a very popular spot. Unfortunately, not all seating locations have access to an outlet, so if you will need to charge your laptop, strategically seat yourself as seats do tend to fill up quickly. read more

I love how there's a Kaldi's in the CWE, and within 2 minutes of where I live. Thank you for being here so I can get my coffee fix. I only wish they stayed open later than 9 pm. There's never a line when I visit, and the interior is always sparkling clean even when it's completely packed with people. I should definitely try studying here one day, as the ambience is very comforting. The quality of their drinks has never failed me. I have yet to try their food, but it looks promising. I ordered a triple shot vanilla latte recently, and as the barista called out my order, she realized that she didn't add in the extra shot. She could have easily let me leave without acknowledging her mistake and I probably would have never known. Instead, she pulled me another shot and also offered me an additional one on the house. They have stamp cards too, so be sure to get one. I think you get one free drink for every 9 or 10 drinks that you buy. They don't readily offer this, so you have to actively ask for one. Drinks are a little pricier than Starbucks, but the quality is so much better. I'll miss Kaldi's when I go back to California. Also, the little goat logo is so cute! read more

Came in yesterday and had some of the best and friendliest service I've had in quite some time. The barista (whose name I did not catch) had a very laid back, very outgoing talkative personality. When there wasn't a line she was cleaning, making jokes with patrons (not her friends, but patrons). It was the sort of service that makes you feel welcome and want to come back. I went to my first Kaldi early this week (off of Vandeventer Avenue) and it was recommendable- amazing disagree) sugar free vanilla cappuccino and cozy café space. There was a fly hanging out on a bagel, which is questionable, but I wasn't in the market for a bagel, so... *shrug* This Kaldi (off of Euclid) was a very different experience. I ordered the same sugar free vanilla cappuccino and a piece of zucchini bread. The cappuccino was pretty bad. I had hot water added, but it's still pretty bad and I taste no vanilla. The zucchini bread was worse. So dry and stale that I took it back. Thankfully (and this took my review from 2 to 3 stars) the barista allowed me to exchange for a piece from a fresh loaf. It was really quite good when fresh. This is right next to the hospital, so, I'll probably be coming again, but I'll be more cautious in what I order. Maybe stick with drip coffee and no pastries. read more

The workers were really nice and patient while taking our order. They even switched our order into a regular mug when she mistakingly put it in a to-go cup. Stopped in for breakfast and to-go treats. Really delighted with all the options. Ordered the egg and cheddar biscuit even though I'm not a big fan of biscuits. I find them too thick and too dry. Kaldi's was perfect, melt-in-your mouth! The egg was perfectly cooked and sandwich was overall very tasty. We very much enjoyed the energy bites, much better than the ones I make at home. I've come here for the past few years when visiting family in St. Louis. The food, service, and coffee are always great. Today (a busy Sunday morning) I had an experience that would've warranted a negative review - my drink order was forgotten and another person took my food order, practically tripling the time I expected to spend here. However, the barista who helped me, Sara, went out of her way to explain to me what went wrong, apologized, and offered some perks to make up for the slip-up. She really displayed a great example of customer service and more than made up for the mistake and extra time I spent waiting for my order. I love this Kaldi's location. By far my favorite out of all the location, but the quiet DeMun location has a special place in my heart. This location is located in a developing area of CWE and neighbored to some great restaurants nearby. A couple things I love about this location: 1. The interior is gorgeous with marble/wood/gold accents. It's very sleek and modern. A perfect space for study bugs, coffee dates, and loners. 2. The accessible number of outlets around the space has made it on my list of favorite workspaces. 3. The full breakfast/lunch menu is a plus. Their menu offering has plenty to pick from and fulfills varying appetites. My favorite is the hummus plate that I like to snack on. 4. I love the big windows at the front, which is great for people watching from time-to-time. This location is a perfect place to not feel lonely and get sh*t done. Really iffy with online orders, the app malfunctions and sends the orders to other locations often and no one can ever help or refund the order. I ended up having to just pay twice a few times and then gave up- definitely order in person or you may or may not receive your order and you most certainly will not receive a refund. read more
