I had a terrible accident which resulted in my cracking four of my front teeth. One of which was almost completely gone. I fell face first into the pavement after my dog, as her leash tripped me up. Needless to say I was in immense pain and scared to death from the look of my face, and lacerations . I immediately started looking up dentists after I finally got myself somewhat together and to no surprise I mostly got voicemail boxes instead of talking to a live person. Then I contacted Dr. Toral's office. She answered and took the details of my incident. She then made me an appointment for later the same day! Again on a Sunday! She immediately got me in, gave me a preliminary exam, and prescribed me medication to help with the terrible pain. She was very thorough and reconstructed my teeth good as new in no time! I will forever be grateful to her and her amazing team for their patience, diligence, kindness, and meticulous work making this experience as pleasant as possible. Thank God for leading me to this place. They have a new customer out of me, as I will continue to go here for my regular dentist work as well from now on. I was clearly told that a cleaning and x-ray would cost $199. I specifically asked in advance who would be performing the cleaning and even took the time to check her reviews. But when I arrived, I was told someone else would be doing the cleaning--someone I hadn't researched or been informed about beforehand. I've never felt so uncomfortable or unsettled during any of my dental cleaning in the past 30 + years When I arrived, I was shocked to be told that the cleaning would actually cost $850, plus the $199 for x-rays and examination. When I asked for clarification, I was told the $199 only covered x-rays and an exam--no cleaning included. This is completely misleading and feels like a bait-and-switch tactic. I've had my teeth professionally cleaned once a year for many years, and dentists consistently comment on how well I maintain my oral hygiene. Charging $850 for a routine cleaning + $199 is outrageous and unjustified. On top of that, the staff was rude and dismissive when I questioned the pricing. I walked out feeling disrespected and scammed. I would not recommend TruCare Dental to anyone. This experience was a total rip-off!!

Long story short, the bill arrived a few days later, and they invoiced us around $800 after deducting what the insurance paid. Most charges were rejected by the insurance provider as they were not considered part of a routine inspection. When I confronted them about these charges, they simply threatened to send my file to a collection agency rather than explain why they provided services that were never requested. Avoid this office at all costs. They look at you as a piggy bank and try to collect whatever they can, for services that you never need to begin with.

We went there this week, and we're advised that the doctor would NOT work on my son, and he should see someone ( that we will have to find) in Emory to do the work. All in all, I found Sage administrative to not be helpful, caused us numerous trips, money and time and ultimately will be of no assistance.

Many negative reviews are met with long, defensive responses from the office that shift blame onto patients and disclose personal details. I was charged $546.93 after being told I required a gum treatment before they could clean my teeth. I agreed because Dr. Saranya Sakthivadivel REFUSED to do my cleaning if the treatment wasn't done first. After the treatment was done the hygienist began scaling but did not finish the cleaning, and polishing was never performed. I was instructed to return in one month to (1) verify whether the gum treatment worked and (2) finish the cleaning at no additional cost. The front office coordinator, Molli Scissel, confirmed this when I checked out. At my follow-up visit, instead of evaluating my gum treatment or finishing the work I already paid for, I was immediately presented with a new $193 bill for another cleaning. I showed my original receipt, and the receptionist AGREED I had already paid until Dr. Saranya Sakthivadivel entered and insisted it was "separate." She refused to proceed unless I paid again, and still did not perform the gum treatment follow-up she was supposed to check. I later filed a BBB complaint, which the office ignored completely. In response documentation, the dentist falsely claimed I used "inappropriate language," which never happened, an attempt to discredit me instead of addressing what actually occurred. I have call logs and voicemail screenshots showing their claims about contacting me were untrue, and that my voicemail was never full. This review is not about disliking a procedure it is about: * being billed for services not rendered, * being told verbally that something would be included only to be charged again, * medical follow-up being skipped, and * false statements made about my behavior. I am pursuing this matter with my bank, the Georgia Board of Dentistry, and the Attorney General. I am also prepared to pursue this matter in small claims court if it is not resolved. This was a deeply unprofessional experience, and future patients should be aware.

I go for my cleaning twice a year and they would give me a small goodie bag after with toothpaste and a toothbrush. Before my scheduled appointment, I get a reminder close to the date and I can check in through my phone. I also usually never have to wait long at all before being seen for my appointment. They are located in a fairly busy area with other businesses right next to and all around it. I've never had a problem finding parking. I like the genuineness and care provided there, and I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new dentist to go there.
