Since their 8 am appointment hadn't arrived yet, they took my car in right away and had the repair completed by 8:30, which saved our day and our road trip, and it only cost $65.39. They also inspected, cleaned and checked the pressure on all tires and replaced a missing cap on the valve-stem. Awesome service! Thanks Kal Tire. Mark

Booked my car in (KalTire Langford) to have a rear window break light bulb replaced…read more The bulb was .77 cents and the labour was $93.00 . They should be ashamed. I spoke to the lackluster front desk who showed no remorse or sympathy and said the computer had billed that amount for this job. I took my vehicle to a small service station that I also deal with and they said it is a 15 minute job as the bulb assembly easily unscrews and there is no hoist time needed. They were shocked at what I was charged. I have dealt here for several years (2 vehicles) and will of course never return to be ripped off like this !

I took it to a garage in town, and they charged me $300 to replace the gasket and studs on the front exhaust pipe. Three weeks later, I was on the Malahat Highway and all of a sudden my car sounded like the Beverly Hillbilly's car. Motorbike riders were jealous! And there was a bad smell of exhaust coming in the car. I went to Midas on Government Street and Rob had a look. It turns out that the job that was done 3 weeks earlier had come apart. Rob had to order parts and do the repair over. Now here comes the kicker: I was only charged $72! I was over the moon! This was my best garage experience ever. The quote was $102, but Rob didn't need one of the parts, so it was cheaper!! Midas on Government have a customer for life. It's so nice to be treated so well! Thanks, Rob!
