Terrible experience. BEWARE…read moreMy dad took his truck in for an oil change only and when he went to pick it up, the guy had the audacity to tell him his tired were Alamo bald and the battery was near dead My dad went into his truck and pulled out an invoice from costco tire department a week ago and k formed the mechanic that he was full of sh*t and trying to scam him. My dad's tires and battery were less than a week old... The mechanic took off and wouldn't give my dad any type of any or reply. Do not take your vehicle here

Have been taking my car in to Steve for nearly 20 years and their service and care have been…read moreabsolutely great. They always explain what needs to be done, give me an estimate, and sometimes even come in below estimate. They have never done any extra work without checking with me, or tried to upsell me on anything that's not needed; on the contrary, they have gone out of their way to help me save money while still making sure my car is safe and reliable. When I purchased my current (older) car in order to have AWD, their pre-purchase inspection was spot-on. I knew what I was buying, what might need to be done, and am still driving that car fourteen years later, with no nasty surprises. It is still safe, reliable, and running like a dream, thanks to Steve and his crew. Of course, I make sure to take it in twice a year for servicing, which I am sure helps! Totally recommend Steve's to anyone looking for honest, careful workmanship.

I'd be very cautious bringing a vehicle here. My dad owned his truck for over 20 years and took…read moregreat care of it. After retiring and just after finishing chemotherapy and radiation due to cancer, he wanted to start getting back to his normal life, so he brought it to this shop. They told him it was "unfixable" and unsafe to be on the hoist and had him sign paperwork indicating it would be scrapped. Not long after, my dad saw that same truck driving on the road with one of their employees. When I asked around, I was told an employee had purchased it for next to nothing and was trying to sell it--while bragging about the deal. Watching the disappointment on my dad's face was heartbreaking. If this company tells you your vehicle can't be fixed, I strongly recommend getting a second opinion. From what we experienced, it felt dishonest and like they were taking advantage of a senior's work truck--especially frustrating because they were recommended to us by a family friend. I'm leaving out a few details for now and will respond to their reply promptly.

I explained what was going to the mechanic on the phone to which I was told we need to look at it, then give you a quote. When I arrived at the garage I opened the hood went into the office reception and asked the Mechanic desk person to come so I can show him what was wrong. The guy then saw the drip drip drip from the regulator and said yes I can see it. I left the vehicle and got a call 40 minutes later quoting me approx.$500 Which I felt was quite steep considering I found a regulator for $90, and I opted to not go ahead. upon picking the car up I was invoiced $40 for THE MECHANIC LOOKING AT THE ISSUE THAT I HAD ALREADY POINTED OUT. NO INVESTIGATION NECESSARY!! The invoice confirmed my statement - the fuel pressure regulator had to be changed. So I paid $40 dollars for nothing. Just another grab and go garage. Don't bother

Recently purchased a used SUV. Friendly service from Kyle and Rob. The price was reasonable taking…read moreinto account the usual wear and tear that you'll find on most older used cars. Kyle also threw in a 90 day powertrain warranty. Their mechanical inspection missed a few items, that I have since repaired myself (battery, front brake rotors (pulsation) and a rear power door lock actuator). It's always a good idea to get a pre-purchase inspection by an independent mechanic before buying a used car regardless of where its bought. Overall I'm happy with the experience and really enjoying this vehicle.

We recently went with some family to look at a vehicle, it looked great in the pictures online and…read moreinitially upon contact the salesman Glen seemed very nice. We were presented with alot of paperwork showing work that had been done, car fax, proof of inspection etc. Took it for a drive and we liked it so ended up purchasing. Dealership refused to budge on the price so instead we negotiated with asking to have a few things completed in exchange. We specifically asked to have the breaks done, tail lights fixed and oil change done. This was included in our contract and Glen offered to deliver the vehicle to us later that week. We left and everything seemed great. Three days later we should had a phone call to let us know when the car would be coming but instead we spent the entire day trying to just get ahold of someone. Ended up getting in touch with the owner finally at 10pm at night just for him to rudely brush us off. The car was delivered the following day but all the promised paperwork showing that the work had been done that was agreed upon in the contract was conveniently forgotten. Thank goodness my dad is a retired mechanic and knows his vehicles. After 2 days of checking it over we discovered that the oil was not changed, the brakes were not done and the only thing completed was the tail lights. We tried to contact them to discuss this and they wouldn't return any calls. We waited almost a week before finally getting fed up and driving all the way back down (an hour away) to confront them. Glen, who was previously present throughout the sale was now incredibly rude and put off that we were even there. He conveniently didn't have the papers at the office and had to drive home to get them. Upon returning when we asked why nothing in the contract was done he had no response other than "I'll talk to the owner". When we asked why he hadn't returned any calls in over a week he replied "I guess my secretarial skills could be better". My dad had to firmly tell him that he was breaking a legal contract and when he tried to deny any wrong doing and I supported my dad, he then turned his agression on me by trying to stand infront of me intentionally to block me from the conversation. He also attempted to raise his voice at me several times which was quite unprofessional. After we left we were promised a follow up with a resolution; we got the follow up but no resolution just a bunch of denial and excuses. DO NOT buy from this scam dealership. They do shady deals and are absolutely not truthful. They will rip you off and Glen, is just as slimy as the owner doing bad business as well even though he says hes been in the business for 20+ years. BUYER BEWARE!!
