Jarred very quickly appraised my car and after a short stressless conversation we agreed on a price. Even though it may be necessary, giving up one's car for ever is not an an easy decision to make and it took me a couple of weeks after my visit to make a return visit to Gurtons. The earlier appraisal for my car still remained and the deal was completed in short order. When I realized my car had come without a cover for the trunk area, I called Cam and he just gave me a new one the next time I came by, which really impressed me. I already know where our next vehicle purchase will be from. My wife is talking about how she wants to drive an EV too. She plans to trade in her own trusty car, with its gas addiction. She is also thinking about the $100 a month we save on the EV by paying $1.50 to charge it overnight, instead of $50 plus to fill up the gas tank. Not to mention the fun of driving right past those smelly gas stations that go with owning an internal combustion engine (ICE) car. I now have a bumper sticker that reads "Look Ma, no tail pipe".

I'm not saying Paul did it, but Paul did sell me the vehicle. I gave him the opportunity to make good. Paul won't commit to anything on paper. He's avoiding any response or written acknowledgment to fix it. He said he had the parts (lie)now he say he is getting them... ? he's been ducking me for almost a month. After an extended drive, he sat me down to explain what vehicle history information was available. Specifically the advantages and differences between CarFax and a CarProof vehicle history reports. (As a US citizen you want both when buying a car in Canada.) Included in the negotiated purchase price, Roger provided all the documentation necessary so I could drive the car across the border the same day. He even contacted the Washington State Department of Licensing to ensure all the paperwork to register it here in the US is prepared properly. (I'll update this review when I get the car registered in Washington State.) Greg, their finance manager, walked me through the sales process. He clearly laid out what paperwork is required to show proof of sale, transfer of ownership, and temporary BC insurance and registration.
