Days later, I was driving on the 401 and my skid plate started to drag. As I pulled over, I noticed pools of oil escaping. I had to get my car towed off the highway, back to London. A different mechanic notified me that 7 screwed were missing on my skid plate and he had to re-install it properly. In addition, the air filter was not properly installed when I had it changed at jiffy lube. This significant malpractice could have caused a major car accident or the destruction of my engine. I was not notified that driving my vehicle could compromise my safety and was not told that it was unsafe to drive, even though they claimed to have known that the skid plate was basically just hanging there. I am shocked that they did not offer any sort of resolution if they were aware that my skid plate could cause an accident, oil loss and engine destruction. Obviously if I were notified, I wouldn't have chosen to just leave without the issue resolved. I had to pay 600 dollars to get it properly fixed at a different mechanic and although they gave me my money for the oil, they did not fix or give me my money back for the improperly installed air filter. After paying money out of my own pockets (as a student), for this malpractice, I again must get the air filter reinstalled by a different mechanic. They just let me leave without the issue resolved. I was properly informed of the malpractices by a different location or else I wouldn't have known. I feel completely taken advantage of and I don't recommend their services. They are more concerned with covering up their malpractices than taking responsibility for compromising their customer's safety. I would never trust them to touch my car ever again.

When rejected one of the services the manager got upset from me and turned his face. they changed one of the parts after the other guy was pushing to change it and he said it is faulty and need to change it will save you gas, they changed it but couldn't install back, I was waiting for the manager to help but he came to help after 15 minutes because he served other car who came after me. They tried to convince me to change the transmission oil and they said it is in bad situation, You know what, I got it changed recently before going to Mr. Lube. I haven't had Cabin Filter changed since new, so had them check that also. The filter was hard to get at so it took awhile to locate. The technician located filter and took it out and I said they could order another one. I also had the garage do a full A/C system recovery and recharge and they added more Freon to the system. The A/C worked much better after the work they done on it, and the garage charged much less for the work then what the Mercedes Dealership wanted. I am quite pleased with Jay and the technicians work. I definitely will return.
