I used to go here when it was a Midas and they were very good. Now they are just ok. He was busy and they closed at 1pm(?!) so they pushed me off to next door to do half the stuff I needed done. At one point they were almost standoffish but at the other end they were pleasant. Not sure what to make of that. read more

On May 27th, 2022 I took my vehicle in to have the front brakes replaced at mufflerman - north. They replaced the front disc brake rotor and pads. Fast forward to September 2023 and I noticed there was a shimmy when I braked. I had a local technician check it out for me and he said that the front rotor was warped. Seeing that the front brakes were just replaced in 2022 and pricey, the local tech said I should contact mufflerman to see if they were covered under warranty.......so I called mufflerman and spoke with Lee who said, No, they are not covered because it has been over a year since I had the work done. It was 1 year and 4 months and they would not honour to replace the service performed. So, I checked my odometer reading from when I took my vehicle in to mufflerman in 2022 to 2023 and the brakes they installed didn't even last me 10325 kms. Needless to say, I am very disappointment in the customer service given and the quality of parts used. I will not go there again and I Do Not recommend their services. read more

I would like. To thank The Mufflerman shopping North Centre Road London. They repaired a heat shield on my car yesterday and after about 15 minutes. I was told the car was ready and good to go no charge. The manager explained what had happened and said it was a minor repair. To me it was a big thing and I appreciate getting it looked after. I am really impressed with this place. I started going for muffler and underbody related things, but now I go for essentially all of my service. Leo and John are honest and will tell you exactly what you need and won't try to sell you anything else. I know enough about cars to tell if someone is trying to up-sell me something unnecessary, and they never do that here. All-in-all their prices are quite reasonable. They are often quite busy, so it's best to arrive early, or just get a ride and plan to come back at the end of the day. They always call to check in and explain the service before going ahead. I will certainly continue going here for my service. read more

If you need a car repair, this place is a great option. After a tough winter, my car suffered as many others. I had transmission lines repaired as well as my windshield washer bucket which they were able to locate for me. I was so grateful. John, the manager, was amazing and is quite the character. He doesn't "candy coat" what needs to be done but I like that. I don't want to break down and our cars are only as good as we take care of them. Car repairs are dreaded as they are costly but I felt they were fair. I got a breakdown of my costs, it was all explained to me and I felt extremely confident. I brought my vehicle (2009 Audi Q5) into the North London Mufflerman shop for a standard oil change and alignment where it took approximately 10 mins for someone to come to the front since he was in the back on the phone and from the conversation overheard didn't sound work related. A gentleman finally came to the front and received my information for my vehicle and description of what I wanted serviced on my vehicle. I asked approximately how long would it take and he said a couple hours. Approximately 3 hours later I arrived there where my vehicle was finally being brought into the bay. I understand it was busy and waited in the waiting room. Once the alignment and oil change was done I paid and took my vehicle home. During the week I have noticed that I started to receive some pretty bad oil spots on my driveway and was curious where it was coming from. I noticed it was my vehicle and I called the North London Mufflerman location and notified them about my situation where they told me to bring it back in. Now taking a second day off to do a simple oil change and alignment I had to bring it back to them where they looked at it and told me they just over filled the engine. Since i have some knowledge of my vehicle i didn't believe what they have told me. Since my vehicle was still up on the lift they allowed me to go into the bay where i had no safety equipment and i instructed the mechanic that the gasket wasn't replaced or was over tightened. By allowing me into their bay creates a health and safety concern. I also asked him about the damage to my driveway where he said that I can buy some degreaser, which I feel I shouldn't have to pay for, to fix my driveway. Once they replaced the new gasket I had to leave the under carriage, where the sponge was completely soaked of oil, overnight to dry up. For a third day I had to come back where they can reattach the under carriage and at this point i am completely frustrated. I felt that I have waisted a lot of my time which shouldn't have been taken. To top everything off I have just purchased new winter tires from another shop and they notified me that my alignment was still off on my vehicle when the shop was balancing and installation my new winter tires.
