Had the front/rear rotors & pads done on my 2009 Odyssey back in July 2022 for approx $700. Ivan…read moresaid he used Akebono coated parts which are suppose to be a premium product that I've used in my other vehicle with excellent results. The following spring, with only 10k km on these rotors/pads, I started to notice brake performance decline with it not really biting and needing to apply a lot more pedal pressure to stop properly. Brought it back for Ivan to inspect. He said rotors had a lot of rust, however, they were all suppose to be coated which greatly increases the time for rust to form. So, for rust form so quickly and so severe to affect performance in just 8 months and with only 10K Km since install....that just doesn't add up and Ivan wasn't able or willing to offer anything (possible defective warranty etc) other than to resurface them for an extra $100-200. That really didn't make any difference. So, I ended up going back to my regular guru who replaced all the pads with Power Stop shortly after. Fixed it and it was 100% better. Not sure if the issue was with the parts, the installer or a bit of both. Things just didn't make much sense to me and Ivan wasn't really taking any initiative or making any effort help me other than charging extra to hopefully remedy my issues. Lesson learned...Will keep to my guru from now on.

I'm shocked to see I'm not the only one. I also paid $300 for a diagnosis after telling them…read moreupfront it could be an electrical issue. They insisted the AC compressor was the problem and quoted me over $1,400 for the fix. Just like the other reviewer, my AC worked for a single day before failing again. I went back expecting a solution, but instead was told I'd need to pay again for more diagnostics. Clearly, this is a pattern -- take the money, do a surface-level fix, and then walk away when it doesn't work. Stay far away.

Customer interaction was good. But I'm afraid it all ends there. I came to have my AC clutch replaced but prepared for potential upsale to complete compressor replacement as I understand most shops may find doing the clutch only as not worth the effort. I was presented a bill of over $300 for a 1.5 hours check, which is pretty much the cost of the compressor assembly (Standard quoted $180 with 6 mos warranty), which means I would be looking at over $1,000 at the end of the day. Since I did not proceed, I cannot comment on their workmanship.

Excellent front-end sales, terrible and pushy backend sales, no sense of time…read more Let me start by saying that I had a wonderful experience with Marco being the salesman of the car. He was patient, helpful, answered my questions and made the experience smooth. It is a good showroom with good Kia cars and the test drive experience was smooth. The problem started after I put in the deposit and I was transferred to Sebastian for the financing portion. Sebastian is everything that you read about or see on TV about the stereotypical car salesman. He tried to scare us into buying their showrooms warranty, used most power sales tactics in the book, was pushy, even disrespectful at times trying to make us feel cheap for not buying his product. Thankfully my wife and I understand the financing math and did not fall into his tactics. But it left a real bad taste in the mouth. Once we purchased the car, Marko requested us to collect it at 4 pm on a weekday. When we asked for 4.30, he requested if we could make it at 4 because of xyz reasons. We reached at 4.03 pm and were kept waiting for 45 minutes before he arrived with the car and then we went through the paperwork. That was very unprofessional as well. Conclusion: Stay away from Sebastian, have patience with delays and you will be okay here.

I must express my disappointment with Toronto KIA, despite the exceptional service provided by…read moreShafayat Karim. He was truly amazing and conducted himself professionally. However, my experience took a negative turn when Mike Jafri intervened and informed me that the vehicle had been "sold" to another buyer solely based on an electronic deposit, despite my readiness to finalize the purchase with cash on hand and a willingness to sign a bill of sale. This decision seemed unjust, especially considering that the other buyer did not possess a signed bill of sale and only left an electronic deposit. The lack of transparency and fairness in this process is concerning and tarnishes the otherwise commendable service provided by the salesperson. Just so we're on the same page, At Toronto KIA, all it takes is a deposit to "buy" a car. No bill of sale needs to be signed. If that's the case anyone can pay a refundable deposit and just pull out days later. This dealership left a very sour taste in my mouth considering how unfair this service was. First and last time dealing with this dealership. Mike Jafri did not even have the courtesy to offer to follow up with me if the deal fell through. This dealership is greedy to get finance deals over cash as they receive kickbacks. 0/5 stars
