The worst service. The problem is that Kal-Tires installed a defective thermostat 3 months ago. I made an appointment for March 2 2026 in person for the next day. Had a 8:00 a.m. appointment after 30 minutes, I was told that they needed to talk with the manager witch he was in a meeting. They said the meeting might take up to 2 hours, if I want to go home that they would call me. they never called. At 11:35 I called and they said that they still were waiting and I should make anther appointment for the next day again. Two days to replace a defective thermostat. read more

I had my winter tires put on last November, and the alignment checked. As soon as I drove away I could tell that the alignment was badly screwed up, so I went back and they sort of fixed it but somehow tried to blame the age of my tires, and it still shakes a bit at certain speeds. I won't be back to this location. The Roncesvalles location is fine. read more

I had a tire change-over yesterday and today I decided to check the psi out of curiosity and one tire was at 68psi, (39 is normal). Potential danger on the road. If you go here for service I'm sure you're in professional hands but maybe double check tire pressure and lug nut torque. read more

Great service and friendly staff! I had an appointment at 8:30am on a Saturday but arrived little early, they took me nonetheless which was very accommodating. Before I drank my cup of coffee (which was hot & fresh in their waiting area) they finished the job, WOW! I was out of there and on my way home before 9:00am. From reading precious reviews I can only assume that it was during busy period (right before the first snowfall) that the wait times were long. The waiting area was clean and spacious, with a fully functioning popcorn machine if you so choose to grab a snack. I had a few questions about special tires that only Kal Tire stocks and the staff was more than helpful. They were able to price match my tires and installation with Costco so I didn't have to bother going into that mess on a weekend and battle the parking lot. There was even a text msg sent to me upon completion which was a nice touch. Kal Tire - you're my tire source for all my current and future vehicles, thanks! read more

This is a warning to all of you that have no knowledge about cars, and car service. I just saw my friend let's say $900 dollar bill for service, for a 20 year old car that she took in that's barley worth $2200 on the market and this place just stole her money for "service". Be warned! There are great auto mechanics that will be straight up with you, stay away! Why are you stealing money from your customers? It's not right. I happen to run into the front desk lady who honestly had the worst attitude I have ever come across. She talked over me, yelled and was just extremely arrogant. Her sense of entitlement was borderline narcissistic, and her continues barking made the whole experience dreadful. Besides meeting her everything went well which is why I rate it 1 star. read more

Staff was nice but both times I have come to this location, my appointments have been at 10am and they don't actually start on my car until 11am. Super inconsiderate as I have to move things around in order to make an appointment work, so if I have an appointment at 10am I would expect the service to start at 10am not an hour later. It is also very irritating trying to get ahold of someone on the phone as they never answer. It's just over all a very slow location and definitely not the best representation of Kal's. I've never been disappointed in this company before coming to this location for servicing! read more

Tremendous customer service - I called on Saturday morning as I found a nail in my tire was and was need of immediate repair. I spoke to Adrian on the phone and he said that they were fully booked for the day but he would squeeze me in whenever he could. I dropped off my vehicle and after less than an hour, he messaged me saying my vehicle was ready for pickup. Regulated my tire pressure in the other tires as well. Overall it was a great experience. Now I understand why my friend and his entire family have been going to Kal Tire for the past 15+ years. It's hard to beat their customer service. read more

Booked my winter tire swap online (easy process) and arrived to my appointment with somewhere else to be shortly after, I mentioned this to the staff as I was worried it would take too long. They put the quickest mechanic on the job and it was done in less than 20 minutes! The waiting area is great, fresh popcorn entertained my son and coffee was available too. I live in the Etobicoke area. I've been to the Kipling location about 5 times since Kal tire opened up for business. I've bought tires - not the cheapest but they are full service - cheapest price is not always the best value for the money.. When I damaged a tire (pot hole) they gave me a great deal on 2 replacement tires - pro rated as my tire was no longer in production so I could not just buy one. They gave me the deal on both. I've had two tires over the years with nails - repaired at no cost - those tires were not purchased through Kal Tire. I will be buying my next set of tires through Kal Tire. This company is the type that treats you well - no nickel and dime. I feel I'm always treated fairly and no pressure tactics. I defiantly want to bring my two Hondas for service. Today I've learned when I was at the Kipling location they also do oil changes. I'll be bring them the business for my wife's Honda Element in the next couple weeks. I wish other companies had Kal Tires customer service excellence - treat people well and they will come back. read more
